Gissy @WJCintron Yes! A learned from other littens. I saw they were creating their boards by adding: audiobooks, book of the month book, library book, etc. It woks for me better because I can choose between genres, book length, language etc. 🧙🏼‍♀️🧡🖤🍂🍁 3y

Once covid restrictions loosened up, we started spending more time going out again and my weekends are booked up!!! Lol... If I want to be sincere, one book was almost all pictures and extremely short but it counts. Thank you to @ladyneverwhere for Discovery of Witch book which she gave me 2 years ago in #HocusPocusSwap I really enjoyed all readathons and loved all swaps.Thank you to the coordinators. Gissy @ladyneverwhere I liked Discovery of Witches but I can understand why people don't like it. It is unnecessary too long with a lot of vampire-witches drama. But I enjoyed twilight and Vampire Diaries which are similar series. Mexican Gothic for me was ok not great due to in the why things were happening (no spoiler). But in general, it kept my attention. Go blind because this book has mix reviews. But I love the cover and I'm glad I read it. 5y

Gissy @BiblioLitten Yes! I found them in Marshall's. I saw it and grabbed it because you know how is this store, you see something you like and the minute after is not there anymore. At time here in PR most of the stores are limited in the amount of merchandise, I don't know if you have the same situation where you live. Due to COVID situation🙄 5y

Greetings, friends!! Well, it's that time of the month where I remind you how it's almost the end of the month (!!!!) which means that it's almost the 2nd of the NEXT month (!!!!!) WHICH MEANS it's time to start thinking about your #BookSpin lists!!!!

TheAromaofBooks @Read-y_Picker - Because not everyone does the Bingo part of the challenge, the “official“ BookSpin/DoubleSpin numbers will always be from numbers 1-20. Free spaces can be filled with any book not on your list, but a free space number (21-25) will never be drawn as one of the official numbers for the month. Let me know if this doesn't answer your question since I'm not positive this is what you were asking!! 😂 5y

TheAromaofBooks @aroc - I do have several people who are using categories instead of specific books, like “audiobook“ or “NetGalley“ that type of thing. I like to have at least something concrete for books 1-20 because any one of those could be the official BookSpin draw, and if that was a free space it would kind of defeat the purpose haha But I'm honestly not the BookSpin police, so I'm not going to be mad if you need to add some free spaces to make it work!! 5y

Thought I‘d share the #Scarathlon point tracker again, and take this time to answer some FAQ.

☠️ Children‘s books, graphic novels and anything of the like DO count towards points. So if you read a Halloween picture book - that‘s 5 pts!

🧛🏻‍♂️We‘ve decided that TV episodes will not count, due to a matter of scoring. It‘s too hard to track how many episodes everyone watches

🧟‍♂️All books finished during Oct #24B4Monday is worth 2 points!

Clwojick @Rissa1 I always have a planned stack set aside for these events, then I ALWAYS end up getting distracted and reading whatever I feel in the moment. There‘s just so many good ones out there! 😂📚 6y

Lizpixie @Clwojick awesome! I think about a third of my #MountTBRStacksOfDoom will fit in this challenge nicely. I‘ve already started digging out multiple choices for each of the prompts. I‘m torn about the teams, I think I‘d fit on both just as easy, Stephen King & Gothic horror are also two of my favourite genres(I think King deserves his own genre, yes?)Cannot wait to get started! @kezzlou85 real life is also full of horror, right!🔪😈 6y

So you don‘t have to write them off your month completely. 🙌🏻 I have a few audiobooks on hold that will probably will come in during the month of October that don‘t fall within the team theme, but I‘m still going to read them for the 1 point. 6y

Clwojick @Liatrek basically anything Mystery, thriller or slasher fits in our team genre. I have a ton of book ideas so I can post some shortly. If you check the #TeamSlaughter hashtag a few people have posted their panned stacks and movies options 6y
