I really enjoyed this story. It also made me want to look into this part of history more as I know nothing about it but what I have just learned from this book.

It‘s always great when you can learn new things when reading no later if it‘s a topic you know a ton about or something you just learned about.

Sepetys has always been able to keep me engaged and the atmosphere feels like I‘m really there as if I could reach out and touch it. I love that

This one was ok. I‘m definitely interested to see where the next one leads but I was a bit bored for most of this first installment.

I really enjoyed this one. Need to pick the final book in the series up soon cause I‘m firing to know how everyone fairs after what has happened in this one.

This took me a really long time to read cause I wasn‘t in a reading mood but I finally fished it and loved it.

Not much though about them as they don‘t have much going on but they keep my attention in the moment and they don‘t take long to get through.

It‘s been 3 years so my memory of book one is a bit fuzzy but I didn‘t feel like rereading to continue so I just jumped right into book 2.

At about 50 pages in I realized that I really don‘t care about the characters and couldn‘t care less about what happens to them.

So here‘s to another DNF and another series off the shelves.

Surprisingly I enjoyed this one. We‘ll see if that lasts but I‘m not holding my breath.

I got 5 Star Prediction and Random Number Generator.

This is book 8 in the series.

The first few books were really fun but as I‘ve continued the authors writing seems to be getting worse. When we started the books always had a plot and they followed it well. Now we seem to bring in a plot lose it look like we‘re getting back to it but never actually do. We we‘re all over the place in this one.

It‘s a shame but the next book in the series will be the one to determine if I continue or if I give up.

The plan is for July to be a catch up month for my reading so I‘m not sure if I‘ll get to these but maybe I can at least get up to these and they‘ll be early reads for August.

It took me all month but I finically finished a book.

I really liked the first book in this series but everything after that has been just ok. This one picked up a little bit and I was intrigued by some of the part but for the most part we continue on the just ok path.

I do own the entire series so I will continue but I kind of just want it to be over already.

Finally got up to date with the Red Rising Series. Red God, the next and final installment to the series should be put next year and I‘m intrigued to see how it all comes to an end.

I keep forgetting to post here so now I‘m working on getting caught back up.

This was just as good as every other time I‘ve read it.

100 pages in and I was confused on why things were happening and how we got there. Felt like we had things happening just to have them happen and not for any reason that was important to plot or character development.

Jordan has a good start and a good end but the middle is just so boring.

I really liked this one. The set up to get us to the events of the original series were some of my favorite things to see.

I used this one for another Orilium prompt. This time was Inscription.

This one felt more like an introduction than being a full story on its own but I‘m interested to know more.

I haven‘t read the books in years. This was enjoyable to come back to after so long.

I read this during April‘s edition of the Orilium read-a-thon for Restoration.

I‘m back after taking a break while slumping. I really need to pick better books….

I was really bored during this one. More of the same and there was really no character development either. I‘m wondering if I would enjoy this series more if I didn‘t leave so much time between picking them up but I really don‘t know.

I have the next book Light Bringer so I‘ll be reading it and then see if I want to continue when Red God is finally released.

This months prompts were use a color wheel and use prompt cards. The color wheel said Orange and the cards said Animal On The Cover.

I was so bored I didn‘t even make it through chapter 1. I was here more for the history than the romance but even that ended up being a dud.

Finished book 4. Not much happened till around the last 100 pages.

While I‘m not enjoying this series as much as I‘d hoped I‘m still planning to continue as there‘s just something about it that makes me still want to know what‘s going to happen.

Well I finished the Uglies series.

They really were just a copy and past of each other. Even this one didn‘t share anything new. The only differences in this one were that it was set in Japan (but you wouldn‘t know till the last part) and it brought in the World Wide Web.

I‘ve been sick and obsessing about Disney Dreamlight Valley so this has been a long time coming.

Rise of the World Eater is the 3rd and final installment of the Frostheart series and I thought it was a good end to the series.

Currently Reading

My favorite way to read is by following along with the audio.

I was working on The Shadow Rising but wasn‘t able to finish before the audio had to go back to the library. Thankfully my hold for the audio of Dark Age came in just before so I can read that while I wait for The Shadow Rising to come back to me.

Continuing The Wheel of Time Series.

This is book 3 and of the three I‘ve read it‘s not my favorite but I still want to know what happens next.

This one felt very much like a set up book but we‘ll just have to wait and see. I do have plans to pick up book 4 The Shadow Rising very soon.

My dad came into town to visit and we took him to see the sights. We also had to stop at my local used bookstore and pick up some books.

This one really fell flat for me.

The plot was a cut and past of the previous books in the series with only a slight variation in the exact location of where things went down. The characters have had no growth throughout the series and it‘s made extremely clear in this one. I wouldn‘t continue and read the last book in this series but as I own it and Specials was supposed to be the last in the series I do plan to read on and see what Extras adds.

Rumor has it this should be coming out this year but there is not info other than Briggs is working on it so it may not.

That being said this is my most anticipated release of whenever it ends up coming out.

Veta Mae read it for the Impling Summoning with the Demonology Professor at Orilium.

Veta Mae also decided to embark on the Lore quest in April since she finished her classes and had some extra time.
