Forgot to post this one last month. This was my kindle freebie of the month. Loved the setting, the story and the characters. Gothic in nature this is a very atmospheric read.

So this was a blind date with a book. Floofy and I weren't sure if we'd like it...WE LOVED IT! If y'all love spice, romance, fae fantasy world building then add this one to your summer reading list! #Littensloveromance #bookspin @TheAromaofBooks
For me this was a story that just didn't fully deliver. Although I finished it it's not one I'd tell you to rush to the store/library to get. It's a story about family but I personally didn't connect with any of the characters. #bookspin @TheAromaofBooks
This is not the read I was expecting for a debut effort. Not only does this author have a way with words, but she has also penned a very gripping suspense read. I was totally sucked in from beginning to end. Solid summer read. #bookspin #bookspinbingo #doublespin @TheAromaofBooks
Well, the first chapter did two things. Reminded me of FA training and what the commands where we memorized if God forbid we were in this kinda situation and two sucked me into the drama. One sitting read here.
This is my first time reading this author and I found this to be full of twits and turns. I managed to read this one in one sitting. I will definitely be reading this author again!
More world building, more emotions...just more and in a good way. I'm truly enjoying this series. And I'm looking forward to what happens next!
Is it just me or is this year just blowing by!? Here is my June #bookspin reading list. Hopefully, June will see a productive month as far as reading goes. @TheAromaofBooks
I decided to start a new manga series whilst I wait for new volumes of the ones I'm deep into. This was a solid first volume with a ton of world-building. I look forward to the next in the series.
I LOVED this one! So many freaking feels. It's spicy, it's heartbreaking, it's empowering! I officially have a new favorite author! #LittensLoveRomance
Holy hotness! This is a super spicy read and I honestly wasn't sure if this was going to be my jam. I've been in a quasi-reading slump (which I hate! Then again who loves that anyhow???). I will definitely be looking for the rest of this series. #LittensLoveRomance
I really didn't connect with this story. This is probably a me thing and not an author thing. Whilst I loved the way they approached this second chance at love trope I just couldn't fully enjoy the experience. 🌟🌟🌟 read. #LittensLoveRomance
I legit don't even bother with reading the back blurb when it comes to this series. This was a super fast read for me and when I want a book that won't be too heavy but still smart and populated by characters you want to hang out with I always chose this author.
One of my co-workers recommended this read and I'm truly dealing with a book hangover but in a good way. This book is darker than I thought it would be and actually made me love it more. Anna was a character I truly wanted to take this journey with. 🌟🌟🌟🌟
I wanted to like this one way more then I did. Whilst I loved the Gothic vibe the storytelling was just not up to par. Great idea but mediocre execution.
I found this to be a bit of a slog at times to be honest. The only thing that kept me coming back was I wanted to see how all the many issues was going to resolve themselves. Pure curiosity instead of feeling overly invested. #LittensLoveRomance
This was a light and fun read. The push/pull love/hate thing had started to get to be a bit much for me at one point but it eventually found its groove and I finished it. It does have its spicy moments. 3 1/2 🌟 #LittensLoveRomance
Well I inhaled this one! Love all the characters and the storyline was fun and quick paced. I look forward to reading the next in the series.
I read a lot of books. I mean a lot so it's hard to get one pass me where I don't see the end coming. This is just one of those books. So many twists and turns. I highly suggest you add this one to your summer reading list. It's also free with KU.
I officially have a new favorite suspense/mystery author. This is a fast-paced read with engaging characters. This Victorian Era touches on true historical persons and weaves a solid mystery. Detective Inspector Charles Field is a character I look forward to reading again.
This was a reading challenge read and I have to say it was clever and funny and full of heart and educational all at the same time. Although written for kids this is another series I feel adults would find entertaining as well.
Holy Cliffhanger! Wow just wow..this book...so good but a huge emotional Rollercoaster of a ride. This is a mafia, age-gap romance that is spicy. Mind those trigger warnings! #LittensLoveRomance
Y'all this series is so good. Once again I managed to tear up, laugh and don't get me started on how spicy it was (in an amazingly good way). The world building is amazing and I love how perfectly imperfect the characters are. Highly recommend this author. #LittensLoveRomance
I love Maisie Dobbs. Reading her is so much fun. This is one of my favorite go to series when I want a fun and light read. I highly recommend you adding a few to your summer reading list!
My May #bookspin bingo card is full! This was a fun and challenging month for me. I had reads for all of my challenges included this month so yay! @TheAromaofBooks
I'm trying to do better with my non-fiction reading. This #chunkster was so informative and one I highly recommend. Whilst it is heavy on details that some may find excessive...it spoke to my history loving heart. #bookspin @TheAromaofBooks
Another solid sport romance from one of my favorite authors. I loved the characters and although the best friends sister romance is not new this was a fun and spicy addition. #LittensLoveRomance #bookspin @TheAromaofBooks
This one was a real page-turner. Reminded me a great deal of the book Atomic Girls. This was a part of history I really wasn't fully aware of during WWI. This is a cross of A League of Their Own and Atomic Girls and it'd one I think everyone should read. Solid 🌟🌟🌟🌟 read.
Ok this was really good. Spicy and fun. Picked it up because the FMC is a flight attendant and so was I a few years ago. So I love those kinda reads. This didn't disappoint. I will say though the flight time between Detroit and Chicago is less than a full hour so it bugged me that detail was way wrong in the book. Otherwise great read. #LittensLoveRomance
This was to my mind very fascinating. Whilst it is a slow go at times, it picks up midway through the book once he starts painting and for me having insight into how he interacted with his family was interesting. #bookspin #readnonfiction @TheAromaofBooks
I'm my quest to read new to me authors I downloaded this WWII historical and truly enjoyed the journey. I loved how the author developed the character and the story held my attention which is hard when it comes to WWII stories as there are so many out there. #bookspin @TheAromaofBooks
This was one of my Kindle First Reads pick and I'd forgotten I'd downloaded it. This was such a good read. Well paced and I loved the characters. It's time travel and a little romance and a lot of entertainment.
This title releases in June and I have to say I liked this coming-of-age story way more than I anticipated I would. There is so much heart and at times humor in this emotional journey.
This title releases in July and it will make for a solid read for those who make summer reading lists. Although it is a WWII set novel with a second timeline in 1970 this is still fresh in its way and will make for a good addition to your TBR stack/pile or in my case a bookcase 🙂
This was a surprisingly good read and goes into great depth about who Coco Chanel was and her stubborn determination. If you are a fan of historic WWII fiction I would suggest adding this to your summer reading list.
Oh my heart! 1) read this series! 2) be prepared for a super emotional read and 3) maybe buy stock in kleenex...just saying. This one is sticking me with way more than I expected it to. Highly recommend this author! #LittensLoveRomance
This one is book one in her new series and it's so freaking good! There is a lot of humor, spice and amazing world building. This author has been picked up by Bloom Books so she's now available in bookstores now if you prefer a hard copy to download versions. Selene and Memnon are great. This book is connected to the Bargainer series world! #LittensLoveRomance #Bookspin @TheAromaofBooks
This is book 2 and a novella in the series The Boys of Chapel Crest. Highly recommend you read book 1 before diving into this one. Again mind those trigger warnings. This one is spicy, dark and twisted as only this author can do. #LittensLoveRomance
For my #AliceInWonderlandRetelling challenge I scooped this one up. Warning it is a dark retelling and may make some sensitive readers uncomfortable, so please keep this in mind. But, if you're willing sit back and be sucked in! This is a RH romance and it's spicy! This is book one in a series. This is NOT your typical retelling #LittensLoveRomance
So yes, it's super spicy monster smut but it's also so freaking much more! I ugly cried the last few chapters. There is so much emotion within these pages. A story about acceptance and loving someone for them not how they look. Highly recommend this one! #LittensLoveRomance
I loved this one enough that I'm going to buy a published copy instead of just keeping the ARC. This had so many twists and turns and this author has a true talent for pulling you into the story and time period. Spy craft and romance and dealing with life choices. All that and more here! #bookspin @TheAromaofBooks
Oh boy. This one is classic Amo. It's dark, twisty, and spicy. Truly, mind the TW's if you're a sensitive reader. She's going to grab you by your emotions and take you for a rough ride. This is book one in a new series. #LittensLoveRomance #bookspin @TheAromaofBooks
For #ReadingTheAmericas2023 I selected this title for Bermuda. I can see why back in the day this was considered a creepy yet page-turning read. For me it was a 🌟🌟🌟 1/2 read. Very atmospheric. @Librarybelle @BarbaraBB
This title comes out next month in June. This is a post WWII novel and I found it to be a very good read about healing, accepting who and what you are. Populated by a colorful cast of characters I found it to be a solid 🌟🌟🌟🌟 read.
I picked this one up on a Lark from work the other day and I inhaled it today! A story surrounding Florence Nightengale and a serial killer set during Victorian time? Yes, please! Solid 🌟🌟🌟🌟 read! #bookspin @TheAromaofBooks
This was #ProbablySmut book club selection and it was so good. I love a spicy slow burn romance and the boss vs assistant trope was really well done. A little slow to start but once it does hang on! #LittensLoveRomance #bookspin @TheAromaofBooks
If you're looking for a fun, spicy romance then Tessa Bailey should be on your must-read this. This title comes out next month in June. It's funny and sweet and the characters are so endearing. And the spice level is classic Tessa Bailey. #LittensLoveRomance
Oh my heart! This story was so very good. This one releases June 23rd I believe and it's truly one you will want to get your hands on. It's a story sisters and mothers, and friendship. Ellie our FMC is someone we can all relate to in one way or another. Have kleenex handy!
This book comes out next month and it's a solid 🌟🌟🌟 read. Family drama plays out with the backdrop of South Carolina low country as the stage. The characters were likeable if not a wee bit frustrating at times. Otherwise this is a perfect holiday/summer vacation kinda read.
Wow! I honestly wasn't counting on this when I started this book the other day! Fast paced and with characters that seem so real. I can't wait to get my hands on the next in the series. If yoh love Jennifer Armentrout or Sarah J Maas you're going to love this author. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 #bookspin @TheAromaofBooks
