1. I keep $20 in my car at all times. Mostly for gas, but lately, it's for ice cream money (there is a seasonal shop opened now that only takes cash).

2. I would say the family is kinda wealthy, and are not about sharing the wealth, but holding it over others. The MC family is poor poor dirt poor and now they are facing their downfall.

Went to Mohegan Sun for Easter. (Well not for Easter, but for a relaxing time away). Anyway, I listened to this lovely book in the hot tub and bath-tub :)

So well written! I really enjoyed it! I am surprised it was one I hadn't read before.

Ooo, really well written. I hope John Green writes more of these types of books!

@CatieWithAC - It took me a bit to start, and then I finished this one. It had a lot of information, which was all very interesting, but I needed maybe more of a slower-paced, one type of poison/spice, more in-depth, instead of a little about a lot? If that makes sense.

I finished this one right before April :) I really enjoyed it. It has things i enjoy - ghosts, true crime :)

I didn't guess the twist ---- so that's great!!! I enjoy listening to a twisty audible with different narrators, but Oliva's voice was super annoying to me!

Anyway, I enjoyed this one.

💛 Do laundry - wet bathsuit needs to be washed. Also forgot my dirty clothes bag, so my clean clothes that weren't worn will have to be washed too - enough for a full load
💛 Clean/Organize the backpack - it was extra self-care supplies

Great book 2 :) It's super cute. Love the “friendship“ aspect of this :)

I enjoyed this book, however, it's one of those, I felt had so much more to offer (vampire/horror-wise) and it focused more on the love story aspect of it. Which I am not against, but had expected more mystery intensity than it gave. I did love that it was set where I grew up - and I think I am averaging up.

This was a cute romancy-thriller book. I love how Audible uses different POV characters and voices. It truly is a great way to immerse in a book when you are doing all your adult things.

I had to take breaks while reading this one. The subject matter was intense and just hit too close to home. We recent (or maybe its confirmation bias) patients coming into the ED with the need for rape kits, and I just hated the language among “professionals“ regarding these women.
