My baby boy, JuJuB passed on Friday (last week). I have been devastated, and am having such a hard time healing. I spend a lot of my time crying or just zoning out. The schoolwork has been difficult because I feel “eh“. Anyway, I wanted to give yall an update on my MIA status for a little bit. I am not sure how much reading I can focus on.

I finished this the other day :) It felt good to be able to sit down and read a book! I have been so busy with work/school/health stuff. Anyway, I picked this one up because I just saw it everywhere, and --- boy did it not disappoint I really really enjoyed it. 💀🥩🐦‍⬛

I can't remember whose post I “stacked this” from but... I want to say think you. I truly enjoyed this one. Radical Self Acceptance is something I strive for. I have been actively recognizing when my thoughts get negative or mean to myself (especially my body) and this book helped to reinforce thks practice. #BlameItOnLitsy #BlameItOnLitsy

Another super adorable audible oringal. I just love them! They are so light and just an easy listen to escape to.

I understand how important this book is. I just couldn't get into it. I believe myself an ally, and I thought this book had a lot to teach me, but I got about 25% in and thought, maybe it was written for someone else. I feel like its another “not for me“ or “not the right time“ type of books. #DNF #BookSpin @TheAromaOfBooks

Finished this one this past weekend. I spent a lot of time in the spa at Atlantic City and so I was able to listen to the whole thing :)

It was good. Not great, I think it had more potential. But.. I did like some of the rules of the “Pact“.

I love these Cara Bastone Audible Originals! They are enough fluff to zone out and listen to a cute little story unfold! Work and School have been stressful (#NurseLife) and these are just great ear candy for my drives home and #AudioChores.

Finished this one while at my infusion appointment. So, I don't know what I think. I liked it up until really the twist. The twist threw me off, which is good when you can't guess it, but... I don't know how I feel about it. Not a favorite of Riley Sager.

I finished this the other day (during my commutes to and from work). It was adorable! I am not a “love“ story type of reader, but I like the #AudioOrginals, their cast of characters, and their general production!

It was #SuperCute and bonus - it was free on Audible :)

This was “okay“. Only because the main character got super annoying super fast. Maybe it would have been better if I physically read this rather than listened to it. It did have a great “listen to“ vibe, but it emphasized how annoying he was.

Got 8% on audio (a little over an hour) and just… I couldn‘t get into it. Maybe because the film was so good? Or something. Taking this off my #TBR.

So, School is in full swing! I hate online school. I am taking Interprofessional Organization & System Leadership and Advanced Pathophysiology this semester. This is barely week 2. I have 2 papers and 1 quiz due. Finished the 2 papers, now to take the quiz. (Oh and I have been nauseated all morning - fun!)

I did a quick Google and Libby search and found this one ready for download. Also needed a new #AudioCommute. So here it is. It's a super quick book. Probably finish it tomorrow on my commute to and from work.

Another one I finished at the airport. It was --- okay. Not super spicy. Lots of weird sexual harassment and bold statements from the male character (which I guess should have been expected but... maybe I just wasn't in the mood d/t my circumstances.)

After 3 days --- I traveled back home to VT. I am exhausted and need to reset as I work day 1 of my next almost 7 in a row (I have 1 day off between the next week). I initially set myself up to have 2 days off before returning to work.

I had time to listen to this whole Cozie on the flight/wait. I wasn't super thrilled by the twist. Felt too obvious.

Picked this one up at the airport for my Best Seller book. I‘ve been trying to get back from Texas to Vermont for 2 days so far - delays and cancellations! I don‘t plan on flying in the near future- maybe not for the next decade! I‘m exhausted and have a massive headache.
