Finished this #Audio early this morning. It was super quick. Finished it quickly while doing chores yesterday (I had been low-censused put on call), which I ALWAYS hate!

Anyway, the dynamic of the siblings was a bit disturbing - but believable. Families are complicated.

I‘m seeing a nutritionist who also told me how good cheese is for my diet :) so I‘m happy :)

It was one of the books that I read way too young for my brain to fathom what was going on, but oh how i loved it! And then fell in love with horror and all things #StephenKing.

Finished this one the other day. I haven't been able to send it yet because (well, I lost my wallet, so I am waiting for all that to come in the mail - it's super annoying). Anyway probably by Wednesday. This one is between “so-so“ and a “pick“ because off the body stuff (you will see my point in the annotation)

This was a cute quick audible original that had a lot of nostalgia for me. I have been trying to better at staying away from doom scrolling - which a bit part of this book talked about how much life was simpler in 99. I agree!

I know this is an older series- but—- I just devoured it last week, and it was great! #BookToScreen

If y‘all have Netflix I definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed this one- picked it up because the Barnes and Nobel bookseller told me it was up my alley (based on our quick convo and other books I was purchasing) and boy was he right.

I really enjoyed this one. I feel like I picked it up on a whim (I think it was in a used books bin), and well, I am glad I did. I really enjoyed the story and how it unfolded.

Had a great reading month (Well, every month that I read and listen to at least 1 is a great month :) ). Even though I don't really change my reading genre by season (as I'm already a thriller/horror fan), I saw this but - I have already gotten into other genres because of this community and book groups. I am still very much looking forward to October's reads!

I enjoyed the first of this series but I couldn‘t get onto this one. It was more assault heavy than I remembered the first one being. I highly doubt that I will try to finish this at a later date. #DNF #NotForMe

I loved reading this book. It was just so beautifully written. I wholeheartedly believe that I wouldn't have gotten as much out if it if it weren't for my #HashtagBrigade crew (thanks as always for hosting @BarkingMadRead). Also added the CloseReads podcast to this reading (thank you again @Daisey)

Just finished this one today- I thought I had a posting of when my doggie decided to eat a page, but I was able to piece it together enough. Love the unreliable narrator of this! Amor Eterno - Brings me to tears every time I hear it. I personally enjoy Vicente singing it the most (because I like him the most), but of course, it's Juan Gabriel's song and Rocio Durcal brought a feminine beauty to it.

I was in a severely abusive relationship, which almost killed me (literally). Not only was this physically abusive, but it was also emotional (the lasting effects have lingered). I used to dance, my whole life, since childhood, (tap, jazz, flocorico, ballet, cheer) I danced, used to dance in our relationship, around the house, wiggle here, wiggle there, sing, play... He frequently told me I was too ugly, fat, and unworthy of enjoying my body ⬇️

My “La Loba's“ place would be a hammock on the beach. I love the sun, so during the day, I read out by the hammock, lightly swaying in the breeze (add a stand/table for drinks and snacks). At night, sleeping outside under the stars, hearing the waves. PERFECTION!

I enjoyed this book, but don't think I will continue - not my fav, it was “okay“. I do really love the idea of this little town with a bunch of cute little bookstores! I would definitely go to that town!
