Listening to the tagged book as I make some new sorting activities for my classroom!
Spending some time outside to get away from the COVID germs. Listening to the new Finlay book and doing some word finds.
Trying to get one more book in before the new year!

Voted! 💙💙💙 Now back to reading to relax on the last day of my 4 day weekend!
Up early due to the time change. Just means I get an extra hour of reading this morning!
Having a mental health day! I have loved all of Hahn‘s YA books so I am very excited to start this!!!
Trying to get some reading in, but this covid booster is kicking my butt!!!
I have loved all of Brigid Kenmerer‘s book and this one was just as good as the others. I love Tessa & Corrick and was excited to spend some more time in their world. I had a jaw dropping moment at a big reveal in the book. I wish the next book in this series was coming out tomorrow. It sucks to wait to see what happens next.
Someone isn‘t too happy with me reading at the moment! 🐱📚🐱📚
Nothing like making your list at 4:30 in the morning to be ready for the numbers to be drawn today! 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ Thanks for putting this together every month Sarah!
For the first time since 2019, the book fair is back at the school I teach at!!! I can‘t tell you who was more excited when we saw the book fair truck pull up. (It was me let‘s be honest!) My littles were so excited to see all the new books. I can‘t wait to see what books get donated to my classroom to share with my book loving littles!
Thank god for audiobooks to keep my company while laminating ALOT of stuff!
Okay… I finally made my September list! Can‘t wait for the numbers to be drawn tomorrow. Thanks for putting this together every month Sarah!
You can tell what I have been doing the past 10 days while I was on vacation by looking at my #bookspinbingo board. I read 20 books (10 print and 10 audio) and had one DNF. I am not looking forward to being an adult tomorrow. But back to reality and 10 two year olds!
I am on vacation this week. I finally figured what what I want to read this week so I could finally make my #bookspinbingo list. Can‘t wait for tomorrow. Thanks again for putting this together every month Sarah!
I finally have my very own Little Free Library for years. My dad made me one. I am so excited! ❤️📚❤️📚❤️📚
When you come home from work and all your preorders from the last two weeks finally show up from Barnes & Noble! Happy Friday to me. I may have also went a little crazy when they had their last two 25% off preorders sales! 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
Well this is a first. Opening up book mail from this week, and this is one of the books I got off of Amazon. It says it is “new” and not brought from a third party seller. Where is the rest of the book? 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ They are sending a replacement hopefully it is the whole book!
And that‘s a wrap on May #bookspinbingo. Thanks for putting this challenge together every month Sarah! Can‘t wait to make my list for next month!
Let‘s be honest this past week has sucked. Between my coteacher testing positive and having another coteacher not really help out. I needed to have an amazing read that sucked me in and this book was it. I loved everything about this book and didn‘t want it to end. I loved how Sam and Gracie‘s relationship evolved. I also liked the mental health representation. I am really hoping that Fangli gets her own book!
Finally decided on my May #bookspin list. Was waiting to see what books I had preordered from Barnes & Noble that were being Released this week but none have shipped yet. I don‘t know what I have preordered because I went a little crazy during the last couple 25% off preorder sales. 🤦🏻♀️ But I am excited for the numbers to be drawn tomorrow. Thanks for putting this together every month Sarah!
Here is my book haul from my local indie for #independentbookstoreday. The bottom book is one of the ARCs they were giving away. I went when the first opened and they were already so busy. Makes me happy to see people shopping local! 📚❤️📚❤️📚❤️
And that‘s a wrap on #bookspinbingo for April! Thanks for putting this together every month Sarah. Can‘t wait until next month!
Spending my first day of Spring Break with Meddy and the Aunties!
When I saw the news that this book was being banned I had to check it out. After reading it in a couple hours, I don‘t see why it was banned. The people that banned this book must forget that teens hear and see worse on tv and from their peers. This is part of our awful world history and it needs to be taught, not banned. I hope this book gets into the hands of the students where it is being banned!
Early morning audiobook with the boy. Time change is kicking my butt this morning! Wish I could lay in bed all day but that is wishful thinking! 😴😴😴😴
Realized when I was making my March #bookspin list that I never posted my February #bookspinbingo card. The tagged book was my favorite. The tagged book was my favorite from this month. Thanks for doing this every month Sarah. Can‘t wait until tomorrow!
Today birthday book haul. I hadn‘t been to Barnes & Nobles in months. It was so nice to just walk around and pick out what called to me. Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes as well as my #litsylove cards!
Ruta Sepetys books always break my heart. They also introduce me to parts of our world history that I knew nothing about. In 1989 I was only two when the Romanian people fought for their freedom. I can‘t imagine what the people of Romania went through when they had to spy on their family and friends just to survive. I still don‘t know how people can have so much hate in their heart to treat people as awful as they did and still do.
Just realized I never posted my January #bookspinbingo board. This month was a struggle and I did have 5 bails this month with books I picked for this challenge. But it is 5 books no longer sitting on my shelf. Thanks for putting this together every month Sarah!
This book was bananas. A modern thriller inspired by the Borden Murders. Maddi and Charlotte are grieving the lost of their mother. But they don‘t believe that her heart just stopped. They are left with so many unanswered questions that they can‘t move on. But their dad has with their Mom‘s assistant. Charlotte and Maddi are determined to find out what happened to their mother. But will they believe what others say or deal with the rage in 👇🏻
I have been in a print book reading funk lately. I know that covid is to blame. Over the past couple of weeks we have had some kids and teachers test positive at the preschool I work at. One of them being a close friend. So I knew that I needed to read a book by a favorite author. Jill Shalvis didn‘t disappoint at all. I love the laugh out loud moments I always have when reading her books. I love the friendship, drama and love that she writes!
I am in a reading funk today. I bailed on my audiobook and print book today. Hoping this graphic novel does the trick. Also everything that Jason Reynolds writes is amazing!
I was going to open this after work but let‘s be honest it has been a hard first week back from winter break. So I needed some happy before heading back into my classroom this morning. @Melli your kindness made my heart so happy this morning. I love everything and I have been waiting to read both of the books for so long. All the yummy goodies. Can‘t wait to relax with the books and snacks. Thank you so much!!!
Super late making my list for this months #bookspinbingo but here it is. Thanks again @TheAromaofBooks for putting together this challenge every month!
Last book of 2021! I was so excited when I heard that this book was coming out and they we would get more Ben and Arthur! I loved them in the first book and I loved them in this one as well. I am a sucker for second chance romance. Also the ending was ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️! Now I just need to pick out which book will be my first book of 2022!
