This is my new fav mystery series! Andy is an amazing character and I love his relationships with Gene, Lee and Elsie. The mystery was solid and kept me guessing. The historical backdrop of the LGBTQIA+ community in 1950s San Francisco is so relevant for what going on today. I‘m really looking forward to continuing the series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The ending was amazing but man was this book to long! I struggled until around page 300 and then it was super easy read. I don‘t know why the concept of less can be more is lost on some. Just edit down some of these books please! So for that reason⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🙂

I absolutely adored the first book and was so excited just to get more time with these amazing characters. The children in this book are so wonderful and the addition of David felt perfect. There some parts that were hard to read because I loved the characters so much and seeing them have to suffer anymore than they already had was tough but I get what the author was trying to do. This isn‘t a warm hug like the first book but it‘s still enjoyable
