Hoping to finish my #BookSpin #DoubleSpin books this weekend.🤞I've been in a reading slump the past 2 months. This year I added a new “rule“ to help me finish more books for the challenge & scale down my #TBR. Once a quarter I allow myself a swap of the picks with another one from my list that month if I am really not feeling the chosen one. That way I'm still reading off my planned TBR list. I've used ALL 4. 😂 #bookspintracker

pickA couple of weekends ago here in Australia, we had a ‘top 100 books of the 21st century‘ countdown, as voted by our national broadcaster, Radio National, listeners. Almost 300,000 Aussies voted. I‘d read 83 and decided to prioritise reading the (potentially 17) remaining books I had waiting patiently on my #tbr shelves. This is one of them. A fascinating account of the Stasi that I have had recommended to me more times than I can count.

This was a long, strange trip. A dystopian medical universe. Like reading a dream/nightmare crossover. 1984 vibes.
