I finished this about a week ago, but failed to post. I really loved this one - I had a hard time putting it down. I plan to read more from this #Authoramonth but probably won‘t get to more this month.

So sad, and so moving at the same time. Rosemary struggled to find her place in her competitive family and was often kept from the public eye. And the decision to have a lobotomy performed on her and then hiding that fact 😡 But the strides that were made for folks with intellectual disabilities due to her struggles are inspiring.
All of these stories were so delightfully twisted, it‘s hard to pick a favorite!
I really enjoyed this “non-boring guide”. Sheehan makes the US Constitution make a little more sense for the general American. The multiple references to Hamilton were also fun. Honestly, I learned more from that musical (and this book) than I did in any of my high school classes 😬
This book was so good! I laughed and cried and loved every second of this story.
I just did not love this. I didn‘t like the characters. It was not my thing.
I quite enjoyed this biography of America‘s favorite fighting Frenchman. I learned so much! It was also a different look at the French Revolution.
I love a twisted fairytale, and this one is no exception. There were times that I thought I had it all figured out, but I was still surprised more than once.
I have no words. I was angry throughout this entire book. It‘s so sad that a completely unqualified person can give expert testimony that puts innocent people away for life - or worse. I‘m sorry to anyone who witnessed me listening to this in public - I had a hard time containing my outrage.
An interesting and informative read. I really enjoyed the narration.
So flippin‘ cute!!! I need all the Narwhal and Jelly books now!!!
My anxiety has been on high all day, so I went into this blind, looking for something light-hearted. Well, I‘m in tears again — but at least this is another off my list and a great read!
This book was so interesting! It‘s eye-opening, and the NORAD part is pretty scary. It can get repetitive at parts, but overall an entertaining and moving read.
I really wanted to like this, but halfway through it‘s just annoying. Life‘s too short - onto the next book.
Book 3 of 2023. This story is so sad. The way that a young man‘s tragic murder was warped by the internet into a political hit is unbelievable.
Erdrich is a new to me author. I enjoyed this book a lot - the parts about Covid and George Floyd brought back many feelings. I will definitely read more from Erdrich! #AuthorAMonth
First book of 2023! What a sad, tragic story.
Another fun year of spooky reading! Thanks to our hosts for planning an awesome event!! #Scarathlon2022 #TeamMonsterMash
Bella and I went as Casey and Ghostface for the Halloween events at work today. She refused to keep her costume on so I don‘t have a good picture of us together. And I swear we had the perfect phone for this at one time, but I couldn‘t find it. Still, she‘s the cutest little Ghostface 😂#scarathlon2022 #TeamMonsterMash
One of my#bucketlist items was try some spooky cocktails.
I‘m having a lot of fun, and finding out that there are some things I will never like (looking at you, bloody marys). I‘ve found so many recipes on Pinterest - at least I have a good use for these skull mugs. +11 #scarathlon2022 #TeamMonsterMash
Originally designed this for the week, but watched a lot yesterday. +66 #TeamMonsterMash #scarathlon2022
I couldn‘t resist these Cryptid hard seltzers. They are mystery flavors, so who knows what I‘m getting myself into? Oh well, even if they‘re no good, the cans are fun! #scarathlon2022 #TeamMonsterMash
Week 1 Points. It‘s been a fun week, though I have to do better about posting. 22,061 #TeamMonsterMash #Scarathlon2022
I watched Nightmare on Elm Street for the first time today. All I could think during this scene was “It‘s Raining Glen”. +6 #Scarathlon2022 #TeamMonsterMash
Another Bucket List item down - it‘s almost too dark to read now, but at least I can enjoy the camp fire. +11 #TeamMonsterMash #Scarathlon2022
Two bucket list items down! We visited Evan‘s Orchard in Georgetown, KY and tried their Hard Cider. Will 100% be back to the orchard, but the hard cider was just ok. We got some regular cider for later - I know that‘s good! So much fun!! +21 #Scarathlon2022 #TeamMonsterMash
Good morning #Scarathlon2022!! I‘m getting things started with this adorable book about family and following your dreams.
Let‘s do this #TeamMonsterMash!!
This is my rather ambitious watchlist for #scarathlon2022. And it doesn‘t include streaming. Yay for spooky season!

@Clwojick and @StayCurious are hosting #scarathlon2022!! I‘ve participated in this event since year 1 and loved every second. There‘s still time to sign up!! Go #TeamMonsterMash!
