Rhys is found dead at the lake in The Shore, on New Year's Eve. Everyone at the party has secrets they don't want anybody to know about. Detective Leo and Ffion are trying to find the killer. Not easy when everyone had a reason to want Rhys dead.

A mother that is sleep walking since she was a child. Her son disappeared in the middle of the night without any trace. As she is trying to find her son and being help by a podcaster her past resurfaces.
It was so good. I highly recommend.
Currently reading. So far I love it! π

I feel like the story needed an other story line but it was charming and cute. Definitely a book to read in Summer on the beach. I enjoyed following both characters on their date. I would recommend.

Entertaining and captivating. I love books when we see both past and present. We get to read Emily (present) and Mary's (past) as Emily is trying to write. The Villa holds many secrets from the past. The Villa will hold other secrets from present day.

I was really disappointed with this one. I feel like the author was trying too hard to create a twist of "guess who's done it"? It didn't make any sense.

In my opinion, the book felt flat. It was okay but I didn't care much about the story.

Lily was new in town and caught the attention of Asher. Each chapter is from Olivia's, Asher's mother, and Lily. Both having secrets they don't want anybody else to know. One afternoon, Asher visit Lily's and founds her at the bottom of the stairs, dead.
We get to read about the trial and the events that took place before the murder.
I have to admit I didn't see that one coming.
My pick for Book of the Month and my add-on. ππ₯°
I'm so happy and January is my birthday month.

I really like this book. It would make a great movie. Books with a murder mystery trying to be resolved by a reporter or podcaster always pulls me right into the story.
The story reminded me a little bit of JonBenΓ©t Ramsey.
The ending wasn't what I expected but I hope this possibly means a sequel?

I laughed a few times reading this book. I had a good time!

I absolutely love this series! Maybe not the best but there's just something about the story pulling me into their world.
I read 5 books this month and I won't be able to finish an other. I still have 14 books to read to reach my goal. I wanted to read 60 books for this year. I won't be able to reach it. π

Didn't make a beautiful page because I didn't take the time. I am loving The Sinner!
The Push was confusing. Anyone else felt the same?
I had 3 Bingo's! ππ»

I really enjoyed it. Chapters are devided with Amaya telling the story, interviews and toward the end the victim. I like stories when everyone has something to hide. Everyone seems like a suspect.

I really liked the story.
A game of who did this? Why? What happened? There is only one thing that was obvious from the beginning but it didn't ruined the story. While a family reunites to celebrated Nana birthday on Halloween, we visit their past through VHS tapes and secrets well kept by the family is unveiled. πππ

A story told backwards. Jen, a lawer, witnesses her son kill a stranger. To understand why he did so, everyday she wakes up she goes back in time discovering the reason why it happened. Thriller mix with science fiction. I really liked it but the ending was weak in my opinion. It wasn't satisfiying.
I stayed up late to finish this one. π

An interesting read that will make you want to finish it in one setting. Chloe's father was put in jail for killing six teenagers. Years later, another killer is copying her father murders. Can she really trust anyone in her life?

This is the first book I read by the author and I was not disappointed. Two sisters who share a secret. They murdered someone. They thought they did a good job of hiding It but then the past comes to haunt them. What did they missed?
