This one took a bit to get going for me, but by the end I thoroughly enjoyed it. I don‘t always enjoy the Empire-side stories as much, but Thrawn who is alien even by the Empire‘s standards, is so intriguing. This one focuses on the Chiss Ascendancy‘s enemy, a very creepy alien species named the Grysk, who creep into Empire space & cross paths with Stardust construction, creating a magnificent collision of characters & plots.

The second book in the Mike Lockyer series and another great read. Lockyer reminds me of one of my favourites, Tom Thorne and I love that, a proper British detective with a dry sense of humour.

Book 1 in the Cat Connolly crime series set in Ireland. It was a very good read with an usual story, which was quite refreshing as alot of books have had very similar storylines lately.
Looking forward to reading book 2 🙂

Book 17 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Well planned burglaries are at the heart of this story. And Salvo quotes a book in his mind when he meets Angelica.
This is the last audiobook from the library I can borrow. I have recommended the rest of them so I hope the library gets, cause I love listening to these. I have to find the rest of this series! I also found out it's an Italian series (with subtitles), so I'm going to figure a way to stream. I ❤❤ Salvo and the books.

My my my, even though I sort of knew who the bad guy might be, this story hit me hard. Montalbano is sent letters title treasure hunt. And hes mentoring a young friend of Ingrids too. This is one of Camilleri's best

My god I want to high five Kay Scarpetta in the face! I think I actually hate her 🙃 She is the most annoying character I have ever come across in a book and I really don't know if I can carry on with this series. The obsession everyone has with her is just too much for me. Might try book 17 as it's a planned read for October but if it's bad I am bailing on the series 🤔
