Early bird tasks done 🧙🏾♀️#scarathlon
My watchlist! I‘m so excited and already a little scared 🤣. I need to recruit someone to watch Skinamarink with me; it does not look like the type of movie to watch alone. #mischiefandmayhem #scarathlon
Bucket list #scarathlon #mischiefandmayhem
It‘s a long list 😅

Hey #mischiefandmayhem Team!
1. Movie - Sinister
2. Spooky Season
3. Horror
4. Tackling my fall bucket list 🍁
5. Giving out candy while watching Simpson‘s Treehouse of Horror in the background (sadly I don‘t get trick or treaters in this neighborhood 😢)
#scarathlon
I got a bingo last month AND completed my #bookspin and #doublespin 🥳
I‘m traveling this month, so I assume it will be a successful #bookspinbingo August
I flew through this book; it was a bittersweet conclusion to Sugar Lacey‘s story. I loved the characters were all connected from the start and the growth of Sugar was awesome to see. 100% a pick!
I loved the idea of the hotel, but I was expecting more time travel. This story focuses more on action and mystery. I still recommend this book, and will read more from the author.
This book was a struggle, so close to DNF. One chapter would totally excite and captivate me, and then the storyline would switch topics, discarding what interested me.
It‘s a fun mix of sci-fi and old Hollywood but by the end I was just straight up confused 🤣
My favorite book this year so far 😍 The Many Daughters of Afong Moy
And please enjoy the hard work I put into NOT getting a bingo 🤣 #bookspinbingo
Fun and scary! I admit I am easily scared 🙃 so take that into consideration.
I would describe it as a horror mystery ghost story with a new twist. I figured a couple of things out early on, but not everything, so that kept me interested.
The Shirley Jackson inspo vibes are high. 👍🏾
Rosling‘s experiences were amazing, I mean what a life! I did well on the facts quiz, but my eyes were opened to some of my own biases. It was a good reminder to fact check more often ☮️
Yay, finished Just After Sunset, missed the #losersclub date by quite a bit 🤣. I‘m not a big short story fan, but this is The King, so I enjoyed it. My absolute favorite was N. It was wonderfully, stressful because I could see myself easily slipping down that rabbit hole. In the author‘s note he mentioned “The Great God Pan” as inspo. This is a book I recently heard about but decided not to add to my TBR. Of course now I have to read it.
I had 1 bingo in January but did not read my #bookspin or #doublespin 😬
I‘m too tired to crop my photo, ignore the weighted blanket 🤣
I just moved but I count this as decorating. 😬🎃
I missed posting last weeks points #scarathlon #teammonstermash
Week 2: 336
Week 3: 260
Total points: 988
Pan on a show after 1 episode! Yoooooo the Resident Evil Netflix series is painful 🤣
I‘m replacing it with the new season of Los Espookys for my #scarathlon watchlist. I was going to watch it anyway, may as well earn points. 👻
Great scene🧌

2*campfires #ominousoctober.
Everyone enjoys a good campfire 🤭 #scarahtlon
Final early bird task, my watch list. Hopefully I will start and finish some series I haven‘t made time for @StayCurious

Grabbing my early bird points 👻
#losersclub @BarkingMadRun I have the same cover. Very much enjoying the book so far outside this afternoon 🍁
My #dumakey cover for #losersclub
About 90 pages in and I‘m enjoying it so far
How is it June ugh….Time waits for no man lol. I did read my May bookspin and doublespin but no Bingos. Here is my June #bookspin #doublespin #bookspinbingo card 😊
April was 4 days long lol. No bingo but I got my #bookspin and #doublespin. Included is my May #bookspinbingo.
The tagged was amazing!
March was a successful reading month. I loved all the books I finished! The tagged is awesome and is my favorite book so far this year! Oh and bingo 💃🏽
#bookspin Stolen Thoughts
#doublespin: The Seven Husbands is Evelyn Hugo
Book 2 of St. Mary‘s Chronicles did not disappoint. No #bookspinbingo but I read #bookspin 5 (free spot tagged) and #doublespin 10 which was Macbeth (free spot)
So I assume this is an unpopular opinion, but I was not a fan of the tagged.
The book started off great but I felt it dragged on and then on some more.
I did finish it, but I will not continue the series.
March‘s #nywd22 is “The Only Good Indians” thanks @Readergrrl
Late to play, but I couldn‘t miss this one.
1. Future! Future! Future! Please lol
2. I loved the tagged and I pick up book 2 from the library tomorrow ?
#bookspinbingo After reading a Sandman Volume, I was curious about an actual photo used in the comic. I found out from a friend it was the tagged author. I wanted to read his work after reading and hearing descriptions of the author. Chesterton is quoted often and had a dedication from Gaiman & Pratchett:
The authors would like to join the demon Crowley in dedicating this book to the memory of G.K. Chesterton, a man who knew what was going on
Excellent start to this fantasy series, and this cover is gorgeous!
“You have power, my dear; everyone, even the tiniest otomys, has power. The trouble is we are all too quick to give it away.”
This was my #doublespin and my #pop22 39
When you know a book is going to break your heart only a few chapters in. 😭 Jesmyn writes people we may know so well. Forgot to add it meets #pop22 10
Thanks for the recommendation @Readergrrl what an excellent book! #NewYearWhoDis
Another wonderful Morrison read. So many amazing and deep scenes, but this one gave me all the feels 👆🏾🙌🏾
My greatest achievement was recognizing my own potential. Greatest challenge was/is not making excuses for people and accepting them as they are.
I read some awesome books, but I have to pick Devolution.
In 2022, I want to deepen the awesome, new friendships I have made in 2021 and to grow my circle even more.
#wondrouswednesday
BINGO!! First time in forever. #bookspin and #doublespin done. The tagged was great, I wish every King short story was turned into a movie lol.
I had a DNF. I could not get into Cipher; I stopped about 80 pages short of finishing but I did skip to the end 😬 such an interesting story but I kept wanting it to end.
Excellent book on how the mind works. If you enjoy self-help books on behavior and decision-making. Or if you‘re curious why others (and myself 😅) act ridiculous at times, I highly suggest the tagged. The Chimp Paradox is a lesson on why we act/react in certain ways, and why we don‘t have to.
“Managing your impulsive, emotional Chimp as an adult will be one of the biggest factors determining how successful you are in life.”
Nice, easy read about a time travel enabled coffee chair. I gave it a so-so but I intend to read the next book in the series. No characters to fall deep into care with, but I did like that it was a short and got to the point quickly.
Miller is magical. This book gives it all, action, life lessons, Gods and Goddesses, and the sweetest love story ❤️. If you love Greek Mythology her books are a must. Can‘t wait to read Galatea!
“Name one hero who was happy.”
This was so much fun. I had a Bowie playlist going while I read it, which I did in one night. 👽The comic gives a quick synapses of his career and the artwork was amazing. I wish more stars had their stories in comic book form.
