Seven days. Three families. One killer. This has been on my kindle for a while. Four women who were best friends at university meet up in the south of France with their husbands and children. Kate thinks her husband is having an affair, but who? One of the best friends. Which one? Kate is closing in on the truth but the stakes are far higher then she could ever imagine.
A gripping story that had me hooked from the start. Perfect for a holiday read

📖 After a long day, nothing better then reading ab easy, cosy, funny rom-com
📖 Got to be cover art 🖼
A moving tale of friendship, family and the twists and turns of WW2.
Liz meets infantryman Morgan at a USO dance. Letters are exchanged but are they truthful? Julia has some decisions to make - her career or her relationship with a naval officer. Betty wants to make a difference during the war bur what path will she choose.
The story is told from 4 main characters and is a book of bittersweet hope and explores the true meaning of where is home.

A friend sent me this earlier so thought I‘d share it ❤️
This has been on my TBR pile for over two years so I thought why not start it today. History, love, friendship, military…..looking forward to it.
This is the sequel to Away with the penguins which should be read first. We join Veronica who is embarking on another adventure to visit penguins in the Southern Hemisphere. The first book was more entertaining but this focused on the environmental plight of animals in danger. Emotional storylines and great characterisation.

1. Antarctica
2. It ends with us by Colleen Hoover
3. It starts with us by Colleen Hoover
My first book by this author. A sweet, moving story about a celebrity who visits a small village and sweeps a quiet, shy, local girl off her feet. Sophie is content with her quiet life but it‘s turned on it‘s head when Billy arrives. Being with Billy comes at a price but can Sophie handle the constant scrutiny?
Full of humour, wit and warmth. I can‘t wait to read the sequel.

1. The Ex-Hex (a black cover, stars and witches) definitely reflected the story accurately
2. Anything to do with witches…I‘m in! 🧙♀️
My daughter tends to read my books first! Finally time to start this one 📚

A rom-com with spells, witches and hexes. Vivienne, a young witch hexed her then boyfriend (Rhys) nine years ago. Rhys returns to Graves Glen to recharge his families lines only to find the hex from his teenage years is causing havoc. Can they work together to save the town? Full of witchy vibes, I enjoyed the first half of the book but the second was more about their passive approach to breaking the hex.

⭐️ I haven‘t but there are so many fictional settings I‘d definitely visit!
⭐️⭐️ I had a few ARCs which I later brought for myself
⭐️⭐️⭐️I‘m a sucker for a good cover design but will always buy a book if it‘s one of my favourite authors
Thank you for the tag @hannah-leeloo
The girls are on half term this week so I thought I‘d read something lighthearted. Heard some good things about this book

Another brilliant book by Tamsin Winter. Imagine growing up online and your parents sharing your first tantrum, first disco or even your first period. Poor Eva is sick of posing and having her life recorded. Teasing at school becomes worse so can Eva find a way to stop her channel for good?
A fast paced read with some quirky characters. A great read for young teenagers or those who feel you-tubers are someone to look up to. Is it really worth it?
Next one to read as part of my #20in4 Readathon.
Been waiting for my eldest to finish this 😂
I‘d heard so much about this so found a copy at the library. By far,one of the most overwhelming books I‘ve read in 2022.
Sometimes it is the who loves you who hurts you the most. This is a heavy, personal story which is deep and profound. It will make you feel uncomfortable but sit in your heart. A powerful and intense relationship is explored but although it is a sad story, strength is the word I use to describe it.
Triggers:domestic violence

3️⃣ Strawberries and chocolate 🍫 🍓
Finally got a copy of this at the library, I‘ve heard so many good things about this book.Fingers crossed🤞
The cover design drew me in. This is the first book in a culinary, cosy mystery series. Lila moves back home after going through a relationship breakup. She‘s asked to help save her families restaurant but when a food critic drops dead after eating her food this becomes an ‘Agatha Christie‘ case.
There is no concept of grief in this book and some of the chapters dragged, overall this fell flat for me and not sure if I‘ll read the next book
🦋 3 stars so far, taken a while to get into it
🦋 The idea of you by Robinne Lee (best birthday is it‘s being made into a movie)
🦋 My family‘s health ❤️
Would you like a turn? @hannah-leeloo @katy4peas @TheAromaofBooks

Emma marries her high school sweetheart, Jesse. They travel the world together and seize every opportunity. On their first wedding anniversary, Jesse goes missing. Jesse has gone forever so Emma moves back home to start her life again.
This book is beautifully written and examines the different stages of grief.
Should Emma listen to her heart or her head? I found myself getting lost in the writing and couldn‘t put it down. Would make a great movie

Gavins marriage is in trouble. Thea asks for a divorce but Gavin wants to fight for his wife. Gavin has some help from the most unlikeliest source. Has he got what it takes to win the love of his life back?
This is a steamy, heart warming, realistic portrayal of working at your marriage. The story had depth and I was rooting for both MCs. Several secondary characters were a great addition. Every scene had a purpose, can‘t wait to read the sequel.
I‘m sat on the sofa reading my book, I look up and think to myself is Lola comfortable 🐶💕

GUP (Gay Uncle Patrick) suddenly finds himself taking on the role of primary caregiver for his niece and nephew.
Patrick has no idea what to expect, he quickly realises that parenting isn‘t just treats and jokes but dealing with life, death and self discovery too.
This book focuses on moving forwards and making new memories. The children and Patrick soon realise they need each other.
Full of heart, humour and adorable characters.
Morning off work well spent at the secure dog field. The fur babies can run free and I can catch up on my book 📕 🐾💕 🐶

Heard so many good things about this book, hope it lives up to all the hype 📖
A refreshing unputdownable read which I adored from start to finish. Quinn and Minnie are born on the same day, at the same hospital but one minute apart. Their lives couldn‘t be anymore different.,
Thirty years later they find themselves meeting up at the same time and the same place. What can this chance meeting mean? Quirky characters, great injection of humour throughout and some real feel good moments. The book also covers some adult themes.
