it‘s been a few months since i put together a list for #bookspinbingo… even though i‘m getting a late start for the month, i‘m hoping it (plus the fun of spinning a wheel 😆) will help keep me focused on my recent goal of intentionally reading books i own 🤞🏻

#bookspin is here (late) again! Last month was pretty terrible with reading due to work (as always) but I did go to a fun book-related conference! And brought home too many books. :/

Gissy I start every month so motivated that this will be the month that I could read more books…I wish… many errand to accomplish that consume my reading time😩(I know I‘m dramatic😂)What I do to feel better? Just like you…buy few books as emotional therapy📚😌🙌 1d

This was a heartfelt story about Andrew, who only wants to have a good school picture taken today, but instead there is a series of unfortunate incidents that make that.. tough. The hardest is when he has a full blown panic attack in his classroom. There is a lot of discussion surrounding mental health, therapy, and learning that no one is ever alone. Excellent middle grade novel. #bookspinbingo #doublespin

Quick paced and horrificly engaging.

Kliewer did an explanational job creating an eerie and unsettling atmosphere. Adding a somewhat damaged, but totally loveable narrator made this unputdownable.

The audiobook performance was outstanding as well, it definitely added a lot to the experience.

It‘s Brooklyn for me in this one. In my reading imagination I‘ve grown up here - tried Manhattan for a quite some time l but ultimately settled back in Brooklyn 🤔 So of course I‘m a fly on the wall of this May Mother‘s group. Uncovering the real lives of the women turned out more interesting to me than the actual thriller aspect of the story.

marleed @AnnCrystal When posting I noticed that Kerry Washington‘s production company purchased the rights to this book back in 2017 and she was set to star. It would have been fun to read this imaginary Kerry as the MC. I googled and there‘s not much info beyond 2017 so the plan must be have fallen through. 5d

AnnCrystal @marleed beautifully immortal 🥀...love casting actors and actresses while reading characters.

Terrible when movie projects fall through. Been waiting for the return of Grimm for years...still waiting..

A YA retelling of Sense and Sensibility - the youngest Dashwood, Margaret, is embarking on a 6-week cruise with her sensible sister Elinor. As they‘re boarding, the romantically-challenged Marianne shows up, hot off a breakup with suitcase in hand and announces she‘s coming along too. Now Margaret has to deal with Marianne‘s chaos, disrupting the nice quiet summer she was looking forward to.

#bookspinbingo - my #doublespin for this month!

This was by far the best book in the trilogy!

Having read this before season 3 came out, I had limited knowledge on the plot line and went into this with few expectations.

Everything worked so well in this one. The book had the perfect amount of drama and suspense that the conclusion to the series needed.

I'm going to need to sit with this one a while before I can decide how to review it. I love so much about it, but something is keeping me from a wholehearted 5 stars. What I know is that I love Commander Graham Gore. This was my July #Doublespin @TheAromaofBooks

Sace I‘ve been on the fence about this one for such a long time but I keep seeing good reviews about it. I‘m gonna have to read this. 4d
