#LittensLoveRomance Ch.7-8: Poor Alex - things are not going well for him in the Vi department. Some of this - yes, he brought on himself. But he‘s not helped out by those around him. What is Violet supposed to think about him? Of course she should keep him at arms length- even though he‘s making that difficult. It‘s nice that he likes her enough to keep trying though. But he may need to rethink his strategy.

#LittensLoveSJM #TOG Book 1:Ch.4-6: we‘re learning more about the world and the destruction that Adarlan‘s king has inflicted-especially on magic wielders. It‘s mentioned that Celaena once possessed gifts but that magic disappeared from the land. We also learn a bit about the King of Assassins- her mentor who trained her. And there is someone that she suspects betrayed her and that led to her capture. Someone close to her. ⬇️

StayCurious Could it have been her mentor? What would his motive have been? Celaena just wants her freedom and to disappear- she‘s done with that world. But I think her past is going to come back to haunt her in a big way. (edited) 2h

CarolynM I was surprised about “beaver” not being a term in use in the US. About 20 years ago Australian TV showed an ad campaign for sanitary products featuring a puppet that was meant to be a beaver of the animal kingdom & I think we all just assumed it came from the US. #LittensLoveSJM #TOG Book 1:Ch.1-3: So far I like Celaena -the fact that she still has spirit after such a harrowing year in the mine is admirable. The prince is arrogant - as he would be. He‘s used to getting what he wants and he‘s probably accustomed to his family‘s power being unconditional. I‘m not sure where the Captain of the guard stands. Is he completely loyal to his master? It‘s an interesting dynamic and an interesting start to the story

StayCurious Alex - so far - is swoonworthy. I mean, who doesn‘t love a hunk that reads and drinks milk at a bar? And can quote famous literature - that‘s so hot 💕No wonder Violet turns to mush. Things are about to get sexy. 3d

We see some of our past characters- Dr.Louise Dimatto and Charles Monroe, as well as the usual gang of our faves. Peabody and McNab are still butt-hurt over each other. Eve told everyone that would happen - but did anyone listen? 😝she loves to remind them all. ⬇️

No. Thank goodness she thought ahead and the mother gifted her with a bit of her own power. ⬇️

StayCurious That‘s one big worry off the table. This ending was pretty perfect actually. Nesta‘s journey and growth was extraordinary and important. I loved seeing her learn to love herself and acknowledge her love for others. I can‘t wait for the next book in the series. Thank you so much for joining me for this series! It‘s been a lot of fun! That‘s the worst thing that could have happened! And it will break her to have to kill her mate - even if she‘s defending herself. But of course Briallyn knows that, that‘s why she picked Cassian. Will Dawn arrive in time to give Nesta back her power? ⬇️

StayCurious Cassian is so strong he is able to resist the crown and give Nesta time to get her power back. And she unleashes upon Briallyn who is nothing before the cauldron‘s power. She did deserve it. But just when all seems well, Mor and Az arrive - something is happening with Feyre. We‘ll finish the book tomorrow! (edited) 1w

Stupid enough that Nesta uses her bargain to make him go away. She flees to Emerie and Gwyn and the three are stolen in the night - forced into the blood rite. 😳⬇️

Of course my inquisitive 3 yr old says right away “oh shit! What happened Mama?” 😝🤦‍♀️ So now we see a bit of what Nesta‘s sword and dagger can do - kill the unkillable. Pretty crazy. Maybe she can destroy Briallyn then. That was so creepy when they saw each other with the harp. ⬇️

She can start healing if she lets things out and stops bottling it all in. Her confessions made me sad - I love that SJM has taken us on her journey. Now she just has to apologize to her sisters and admit her feelings for Cassian. Easier said than done.

He grabs Nesta and gets the hell out of dodge. It sucks that he has to be in the middle. He loves his friends. He also loves Nesta(yes he does). Is she the Yoko of their group? I feel for Nesta - she‘s so angry and has a lot of self loathing. Can Cassian help her help herself out of that hole?

I hate when characters rise above 😉 be a bit petty once in a while. I liked that it was a fairy tale but with some realistic expectations. She will be a duchess - will she be perfect? God no - but she‘ll do her best. And Max loves her no matter what. ⬇️

The training was a good idea for her and all the girls.

He kind of just sent her out into the hallway after their liaison. But I do think she has her pride and that may get in the way of their romance. And so will Rory - I know he‘s lurking around, ready to pounce and ruin things. Hopefully Evie and Max are made of stronger stuff.

He‘s gone over her - and he knows that if he wants her, he‘ll need to be honourable and propose. At great risk to his heart.

Secondly, we get to see a glimpse of Nesta‘s power - and it has Rhys scared shitless - that tells you something. I loved how protective and worried Cassian was - the boy has it bad which is just what Nesta needs. ⬇️

StayCurious We also find out that Feyre‘s pregnancy poses a risk. Well, Rhys can always bite it out of her (oh sorry, wrong franchise 🧛✨ 3w

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.9-10: Well, there were tame shenanigans- touching hands without gloves, lingering glances, tripping into each other - but it did get them both hot and bothered. And then the duke avoided her all week! Boo. But I totally get why with his experiences. It‘s nice to see the attraction is on both sides though. Here‘s hoping they realize it sooner rather than later. I‘m also glad Evie is getting a bit of confidence. She needs it.

mcctrish We finally get a Nesta POV and it‘s a whole lot to unpack - she just doesn‘t understand everyone has a lot of shit baggage and they‘ve made decisions on how to go forward. They have had more time to deal but Feyre hasn‘t had that much more. Why is Nesta‘s shit better than everyone else‘s in her opinion 🤷🏻‍♀️ poor Cassian is being punished or at least being made responsible for her fuckery 1mo
