pickI read this in 2016. I love Harlan Coben & his books. When I saw that Nobody‘s Fool was a sequel to this I couldn‘t figure out where Coben would be taking us. Soooo, I reread this so I can go into Nobody‘s Fool with it fresh in my mind.

pickI‘ve finished my May #DoubleSpin book.
I loved the Cerulean Sea duology. So when my nephew asked me if I‘d read book 1 in Klune‘s YA series, I happily agreed.
It‘s not on the same level as Cerulean but it still had great moments that made me feel the story. I laughed and I felt the characters‘ pain and sadness.
My nephew LOVED it btw. 🏳️🌈

The Phoenix Crown didn‘t pull me in right from the start but I‘m glad I gave it a chance. Set around the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, it follows the story of four women. Last year I read another book about this event, Outrun the Moon by Stacy Lee (#SUNDAYBUDDYREAD), & loved it! I think once I stopped comparing this book to that one, it was more enjoyable.
pickI really enjoyed our April #SUNDAYBUDDYREAD book. The writing, the stories & (of course) our Sunday discussions were so good. I love how much I learn from these reads & discussions and how readily I jump into books I wouldn‘t have chosen for myself.

pickI read this for #AuthorAMonth & it was a solid historical fiction read. I agree with the comments I‘ve seen by several others here that say it was a bit too long. Overall, an enjoyable book & interesting enough that I dug deeper into the history that was portrayed here.

2. Our anxiety stuffies. Sherlock now cuddles with Holmes during thunderstorms instead of hiding in closets. With the exception of Keefe (KOTLC), they‘re all #Sherlocked. Holmes, Watson, Mycroft & Moriarty.
3. My daughter will be home in a week for (most of) the summer. 💙💜💙
