I think this one is great. It's inspired by Polish fairytales. But it is definitely its own. And not a series.

I'm starting to realize that I have an awful lot of books that are nearly finished. This is my third one today. One thing about this one... Do not read this right after watching The Hateful Eight. I kept expecting everyone to get their heads blown off. Otherwise, my RBG action figure thinks you should read this. If you haven't. We may be late to the party.

This was pretty funny. Not only is it a murder mystery but also 2 authors fighting and having a dialog between chapters.

I really wanted to like this more than I actually did. The first one was really good. I may still read the third.

My new phone takes some really freaking dark pictures. And this is my 3rd completed vacation book. Sadly leaving Amsterdam later today. 😢

Finished my first book on the way to the airport. Running late. May have a full blown panic attack shortly if this shuttle doesn't get moving.✈🚌

P.S. Does anyone else love these?

Megabooks The cover is a bit...different 2mo
vlwelser @Megabooks It's trying to mimic a fisheye lens camera shot. But no idea why. Honestly the entire book is weird. 2mo
vlwelser At least I don't think it's an actual photo. 2mo

This may be the randomest thing so far in a really random book. Like how did the cow lose a leg? Is that a metaphor for something? Will the main character suddenly become a dung beetle? Asking for a friend...

This was excellent. This author writes really well. She covers the current post-2016 situation but also delves into some of the history of political movements. 💖📚

On a side note, RBG and Elizabeth just happen to live on my kitchen bar, but I thought they might make excellent mascots for the subject matter. And really, who doesn't have an RBG action figure in their kitchen?

TrishB Love the pic ❤️ and I loved the book too! 3mo
