Ok Littens I need a bit of advise because I'm not sure what I'm doing about this. One of the books I ordered for a gift came in today and the tip in is upside down 🤔 It happens but my question is: Would it bother you if you got a book like this? I figure it would cost me more to send it back than it's worth so do I keep it and order a new one or send it along anyway and hope the person receiving doesn't mind? Anyone deal with this before?

No more BookTok videos for me. I just can't. This was on a list for Most Dusturbing Reads and that has to be the understatement of the year. Graphic and just wrong but I could have almost forgiven it if there had been any decent storyline at all. There was one scene that should never have been thought of let alone put to paper. I can't....

This wasn't bad. Memoir style life story of a famous author with, you guessed it, seven husbands. It was good but it felt like a lot of the same story being told over and over during different times. I see why people love it but I don't get the hype. Not my type of book I guess 🤷‍♀️

@teebe I love a good ghost story and locally, we have tons! The story of Esther Cox (tagged book) overshadows the other stories now since we've capitalized on it (seriously, if you're ever in the area in October #EstherFest is a go to event!) but if you find a local there are some great legends to be heard! WTF BookTok? Why is this so huge? Bully romance? Fun fact about me: green things and I don't mix. It has to be crazy hard to kill in order for it to survive me.

That being said, a few months back I murdered my herb garden and put it out for body disposal. By the time I got around to it things were growing. Today I moved them inside to pot before frost hits. I'm sure now that I put hands on them death is coming but are there any Green Thumb Littens that have any idea what these are? 🤣

So eerie. The narrator did an amazing job at capturing Bundy's indifference while he inserted himself into the crimes he "absolutely didn't commit" . A psychopath until the very end.

Now this isn't a bad book. It's Strand. It can't be bad but that cover tells me to dig in for disfigurement, murder, secrets, horror. Sure, the book has all this in a weird backwoods town kind of way but it takes a back burner to the weirdest love story laced with trying way too hard comedic relief attempts. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.

This wasn't bad. The first story was my favourite though. A retelling of The Girl With the Green Ribbon. The reimagining of every season of Law & Order SVU was....interesting. I do enjoy this author though. She always has a unique take.

You guys, this book....not for the faint of heart. This is basically a desperate father hunting down sex offenders looking for his kidnapped daughter. The story itself is fantastic. The execution is...well...it's an execution. I don't think I have ever read anything so graphically violent EVER. I'm talking zero to Holy Shit 👇👇👇

To say I enjoyed this book would make me question myself but I have to admit I was into it. It's gory, disturbing and has too many trrigger warnings to count but it was something to read. If you're looking for a plotless story about two cannibalistic, serial killer necrophiles finding...love? Then maybe give it a shot lol
