What a beautiful book! I loved following Ashley Mae‘s faith journey.
The Thirteenth Tale inspired me to finally crack this!
Finally tried my hand at #audiocrocheting, as I‘ve been meaning to for forever. You Littens inspired me! So far, I‘ve made one wobbly bookmark, one long string crocheted so tightly I couldn‘t get my hook in there to do anything else with it, and one hopefully passable beginning at a very small blanket.
I also finished Gina Sheridan‘s “I Work at a Public Library” today. It was a riot! I could not stop bursting out with laughter every other page.
Warm soup and superstitious for dinner tonight. 🌚
Current read & cookie 😋
After The Changeling and now this beauty, I‘ve been creeping myself out! I just came in at 24 hours, but will probably keep reading; I‘m about 70% of the way through and I need to know what happens! 😱
Thanks for an awesome readathon, @Andrew65 & @TheReadingMermaid! #24b4monday
Whoa. Just whoa. 😲 #24b4Monday
Whoa — my heart needs a lift. After Adichie‘s stunningly tragic Purple Hibiscus and then this collection of heart-breaking, amazingly crafted stories from Alice Walker, I reach for some lighter fare. But wow do these women have a gift for putting me in the story and slowly wrenching my heart out.
I needed Sarah‘s Scribbles today! ❤️❤️🤣
I finally got to reading this classic yesterday and loved it! A fitting, if tragic, read for Valentine‘s. 💕
Parnassus on Scones! #fridaynightbookclub
I took a break from this book a few months back — I struggled to stay interested with so many flash backs — but I am so glad I came back to it. The ending was epic! I can‘t wait to read the finale in March! 💀
(Yep, those are my Wicked socks! Been wearing them almost nonstop since I finally got to see it last week!)
Onto my next — and sadly last — Moriarty. I just love her so much! 🧡🧡🧡 #currentlyreading
Here‘s my fabulous readathon hair for all to see! It‘s been a bit slow going with my reads — the baby has me reading The Pout-Pout Fish on repeat — but at least I‘m still reading. 10 hours down! #24in48
I‘ve been back reading for two hours and am now taking a break from my novel for this illustrated book about poisons. It opens with a letter from the Duchess of Northumberland expressing her “extreme displeasure and concern regarding the confiscation” of a family heirloom by the Department of Toxicology. Looks fun! ☠️ #24in48
I loved this small, peaceful book. I really connected with the author. It‘s beautiful and perfectly suited to the subject matter. I feel like I just came out of a relaxing meditation. Although it‘s meant to be an inspiration to get the reader outside, I think it can also be a great connector to the outdoors while we‘re all spending more time at home during the winter months. 🌲♥️ #netgalley #bookreview
I‘m loving McGuire‘s wacky, macabre world! #currentlyreading
My current witchy read. I‘m already in love! 🔮
Thank you everyone for participating in my #WitchyReads challenge! I had so much fun seeing all of your witchy posts!
I‘ve been so spoiled!!! I love everything, @Booksnchill, thank you so much! Some of the books are on my TBR, others I can‘t wait to learn about. Little did you know that I‘ve been crafting lately, so I‘m excited to try my witch-themed crafts! I‘ve never had tarot cards, so I couldn‘t help opening them already. They‘re beautiful! I love the maleficent chapstick and witchy lotion, too. And there‘s a frog in the mug! I love it all! #witchpleaseswap
