Try try again! Read 4 bookspin and doublespin books last month to play catch-up! No May bingo. My #bookspin for June is Deconstructed and my #doublespin for June is The Astronaut and the Star. #bookspinbingo

I tried… almost bailed but hung on. I thought surely an almost 50 year old would enjoy this classic by Hemingway. Nope… lots of drinking and more drinking. A girl friendzones a guy…and there‘s a bull fight. I wish I knew what I was supposed to ‘get‘ from this book! So sorry to all the lovers of this one. #MarchBookSpin #bookspin
If I put my May #bookspinbingo card out in the Litsy universe, surely I‘ll someday get a bingo, right!?! Love the challenge every month!
Rutroh… you can see I‘ve got some catching up to do… I got into some bad social media scrolling habits- but this month I‘m gonna kick it into high gear! Thanks for the motivation @TheAromaofBooks #maybookspin
Loved this one… spanning 300 years, this is how Addie leaves her mark. Truly an infinite game!
Someone‘s got some catching up to do! Read 3 books in March and binged a little too much tv! April is a new month! #bookspin and #doublespin
Just so much fun with witty banter throughout. Monty‘s Grand Tour they Europe takes some wild twists and turns. Definitely recommend the audiobook narrator.
#bookspin is The Sun Also Rises and #doublespin is The Upside of Falling Down. Also excited to see what this month brings…especially with Spring Break ahead! #bookspinbingo
Seven Day Itch- #bookspin and A Foreign Affair- #doublespin. And a snow day off of school today! #bookspinbingo
This was was not your normal rom-com as friendship between Maisie and Willa took center stage. Willa is getting over finding her fiancé together with her best friend. Maisie desperately needs a bridesmaid and a friend. Willa is hired for the role. Such a sweet book where true friendships develop. And of course there‘s brewing relationship with Willa and one of the groomsmen!
A successful Jan start reading both my Jan #bookspin and #doublespin books! No bingo but 4 books- 1 a chunkster is huge for me! @TheAromaofBooks
Daughter goes back to Wellesley College on Friday so priority 1 is spending time with her. And then taking down the tagged chunkster for #doublespin. Might try to start Love at First if I‘m really ambitious. #JoyousJanuary #readathon
Light hearted cute rom com. May follow up with more from this author.
17 hours was a great accomplishment considering a college daughter visiting for holidays and the Colorado fires nearby. Finished Mistletoe and Mr. Right and P.S. from Paris, almost done with The Checklist. No Bingo. But had fun setting up my reading journal and challenges! Thanks @Andrew65 #20in4
Whew- squeezed in this November #bookspin! Fresh romcom with Mia, a famous actress in disguise, and Paul, an author, meeting one another in Paris. Not initially looking for one another but relationship develops. Left me wanting to read more books by Levy.
Need this in my life- really going for some healthy routines! January book goal- read my #bookspin and #doublespin books. January fitness goal- starting routines for yoga and/or pilates each day. Thanks for the group motivation! #bfc2022
Goals for the readathon! 1- going for at least 20 hours, 2- finishing 3 books to hopefully get my first #bookspinbingo 3- setting up my reading journal of goals and challenges for 2022
Corinne returns to Chicago after her best friend‘s death and gets a mysterious dating app added to her phone. She will meet 4 previous people she‘s met before and one may be her soulmate. Throughout she gains strength in getting over her loss. Cute story. October‘s #bookspin
I‘ve read page turners- yet this is a page turner that I had to scream, walk away for a few minutes, and jump back in. Favorite Hannah book. 13 year old Leni moves to Alaska in the mid 70s, with her father with post Vietnam PTSD and mother who still loves the man she met prior to the war. Leni and her family learn how to live in the ‘Great Alone‘ with all the neighborly support it brings. Love, toxicity, and danger all around. #doublespin for Nov
Hard to read a page turner when you can‘t turn the pages! #catsoflitsy
November bingo - 4 books! I‘ll keep on trying cause it‘s so fun to challenge myself :)
#bookspinbingo. Finished #julydoublespin #augbookspin #sepdoublespin
Sure, I‘ll try #bookspin and #bookspinbingo in the craziest month of the year! With daughter coming home from college, I‘ll have plenty of reading time! Haha… goal is 2 books :)
Thank you @TheAromaofBooks for an outstanding and fun year of getting more consistent with my reading habit. Appreciate you!
Daughter coming home from college and now this… best day ever :)
The SEG Club follows the lives of 4 young women- 2 Jewish, 2 Italian, as they make their way through immigrant life in the early 1900‘s. Set in Boston‘s North End, you are immersed as traditional expectations meet an emerging new American lifestyle. Loved this fast read! #SeptemberDoubleSpin #finallycatchingup
Enjoyed this dual timeline book set in modern day and WW2 Paris. Harriet takes a job in Paris, learning about her grandmother Claire and friends‘ role as seamstresses and resistance fighters in the war. All the while Harriet learns more about herself. #AugustBookSpin
Hard to read for content- one has to be in a place to receive this story. Organizationally I was unsettled between storylines and point of view. Worth a read, skip the audiobook as there are text features and graphics that you will miss. #julydoublespin #betterlatethannever
October nabbed me 3 reads- no bingos! But The Other Einstein was my September Book Spin!! Always trying for a bingo but 4-5 books is a great month for me. Here‘s my Nov card #bookspinbingo #bookspin @TheAromaofBooks
Tore through this audiobook! Such an interesting historical fiction account of Mileva Maric, Einstein‘s brilliant first wife. It‘s a little hard to personally reconcile how Albert treated her with his historical genius persona. Have to keep in mind that this is a fictional account of real people. Still an engaging read! #bookspin #Septemberbookspin @TheAromaofBooks
October‘s Bingo- needing to get back into reading after a few tough months! Excited for the month! #bookbingo
Fun read and loved the Jane-August relationship. Definitely interested to unpeeled all who Jane is along the way. Loved her first book a little more- I felt the flirty banter was better in that one. Overall a great read.
#bookspin for Aug is The Dressmaker‘s Gift and #doublespin for Aug is The Jane Austin Project. Definitely need to catch up to my July spins too! @TheAromaofBooks
Just not a book I could get into. I guess I needed more rom coms at the time…#doublespin from Feb is now off my list!!
Well I‘ve definitely had better months- between heading back to work and getting ready to send my daughter off to college, I didn‘t get as much reading in. #bookspinbingo
How to lose a guy in 10 day redux. A little cute, a little crude. I guess I like my rom coms a little more flirty cute than hot and sexy…
When the camping flies are too pesky you read inside the hammock!
Initially I was looking for a copy of The Flatshare but substituted this one instead. Love O‘Leary‘s light writing style and her characters- an almost eighty year old grandmother from the Yorkshire Dales switching abodes with her workaholic 20 something granddaughter from London. Reminiscent of The Holiday…Love, friendships and adventures await! #bookspinbingo
When you get your husband hooked on the audio book on a road trip… and he demands we listen to the end together once home!!! So sweet!!!
