🔹️ I keep a list of ARCs and read on a first come first serve basis. For books that are not Arcs or author requests I read whatever strikes my fancy at the time.
🔹️ I drive to the office but it only about a 7 minute drive from my house so I don't even have to listen to a book.
🔹️ My husband and for children.
🔹️ Not really a snackers but in the am I drink coffee and water in the afternoon.

#Day 8 in the #BookFitnessChallenge @wanderinglynn
I made my target steps by a hair. The distance walked was 3.99 miles. I would like to do at least 4 miles everyday despite my goal being 8K steps. I think I'll start working on picking up the pace some.
For my audiobook part of the challenge I am continuing with The Queen of the Tearling (tagged).
A moving coming-of-age story about love lost and love found again. The author did an outstanding job of addressing social issues such as bullying. The characters and their development was what made this book! Would make a great book club pick. My full review is on my blog at www.thespineview.com ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Here is my week 1 summary. I walked 6 days out of 7. Much better than my original goal... largely due to the support from my Litten friends! Thanks bunches for the kind words! As for audiobooks, I finished A Conjuring of Light and read Exit Strategy. I started The Queen of the Tearling. Have no idea the numbers of points. I did post everyday I walked and commented on every post I ran across.
⭐ I loved the suttle humor of Good Omens!
⭐ Lwft work early to spend time at the lake. First really warm day of the season. High expected is 87 and no rain after a very soggy winter and spring.
⭐ Will do!
So I broke down and bought a fitness tracker. Not a fancy expensive one. I just wanted top know how many steps I was walking daily. I have set a new goal for the remaining 5 weeks. A minimum of 8K steps 5 days a week. Here is my total steps for yesterday. When I get home and have my laptop in front of my I'll post my first week totals.
?️ Being independent.
?️ Few responsibilities.
?️ Part-time teller while I was going to college.
?️ My father's favorite saying was, "Can't never could do anything." He taught me to be independent. One of the best life lessons and it has served me well.
Just saying Hi to a new follower. @emz711 ?
I finally found a cover I like for by Kindle Oasis and it came yesterday. I am in love with my Oasis. I especially like the buttons on the right to advance or retreat a page. I also choose the 32 GB since I have a fair amount of audio books.

I am reposting this to spead the word about next weekend's readathon. There is a twist this time, try to read a banned book. I will make it a priority to go through my TBR pile to see what fits. It will be a good time to read from my own shelves!
Look what I captured late last night 75K. I want to thank all you wonderful Littens for helping me achieve this milestone. Now on to 100K!

Today's total walking time and I finished book 4 in the MurderBot Diaries Exit Strategy. I was able to just start the Tagged book before I had to quit and fix dinner.
📘 Tagged book came highly recommended from a fellow bibliophile at work. I loved it!
📘 Never, for several reasons that are too long to go into.
📘 just an estimate... 3 months

#Day5 I walked on my morning break and then again when I got home. Total time is recorded above. Still working on my second audio book Exit Strategy. Five days down and 37 left to go. I am hoping by the time the challenge ends the exercising will be a habit and I will keep going. 🤞
I was busy with family stuff Sunday and didn't get a walk in so I did a little extra today. This is a combination of walking on my morning and afternoon breaks at work. Then a brisk walk with my dogs after work. I think I am going to break down and get a fitness tracker to record steps and distance. I completed A Conjuring of Light and started on Exit Strategy
If I could rate this higher than 5 stars I would. I loved it that much! Crouch really out did himself this time. The characters make this book. He uses a charcter driven story to drive a thriller plot. So well done! See my full review on my blog at www.thespineview.com Thanks to Net Galley for my review copy. For others user of NG this book is still available for request. 5+ Stars
