A quick, fun read. Loved the character of Darcy. Logan not so much. He was an arrogant ass and though he changed some, he didn't totally win me over. Despite this, I liked the story and there were a few funny moments I thought added to lightness of the story. 3.5 ⭐️

I bought this to work on in October when listening to audio books. Love dragons and it is purple. My hubby says it matches my hair. I recently had the tips dyed purple. 💜🐉💜

I'm reading this series out of order. Read book 1 months ago. This is book 4 and I started book 3 yesterday. They are loosely tied together but can be stand alones. So far, this book is my favorite. I loved Alex, the broody, arrogant barrister in London and his new assistant, Violet, who just waltzes in and rocks his world. I throughly enjoyed watching these two come together and how each of the ⬇️

I started this new series with book 2 instead of one. I enjoyed, so I need to go back and read the first one. A fluff shifter series about dragons coming through a rift, maybe from an alternate universe, and they go insane without a human mate to anchor them. Interesting premise and the romance part I enjoyed. I will definitely continue this series after #Scarathlon 3.5 ish⭐️ 💚🐉
Ordered this book and it made it to me today. Love book mail! Looking forward to digging into this tomb. Another for the #ChunksterChallenge2023 @Amiable This one comes in at 960 pages. I love big books!

Here are the books I scored at the used bookstore. Most excited about the two Ken Follett books.
❤️📖❤️📚❤️
Made a trip to the library today. Picked up these two books. I also went to The Last Chapter bookstore downtown while I was out. I picked up 4 used books and had them pre-order the next Murderbot book which comes out Nov. 14th
I'm working from home today or not! 🤣 Working on #Scarathlon stuff. Trying to get organized so I can start strong on October 1st.
As an accountant I love spreadsheets. So made this one to track points. Set it up so it does all the totaling for me. I still to add a few things to it. Almost finished. Then going to the library at lunch to pick up a few books.

This one was disappointing. The premise was good but the execution was lacking. It needed more everything. The plot felt underdeveloped and the characters lacked depth for starters. I felt like I was reading a first draft. The plot did flow as good as I thought it should. 2.5 to 3 ⭐️

This is the 2nd book in the series. I didn't like this as much as book one. I thought Marcus was more of an ass in this one. Then all the drama felt a bit forced. It was not bad but not good either... kind of mediocre. 3ish ⭐️

This was an interesting story and it was more about dealing with grief that the title and blurb leads you to believe. Ash lost his wife a long time ago and still mourns her. He doesn't date and has been solely focused on building his business and taking care of his children as a single parent. Then Rye, the daughter of his best friend, enters his life and he is blind sided. He is 46 and she is 28.⬇️
