Heartwarming story but a bit slow-paced for me. I got a little bored with the repetitiveness towards the end. Only a 🌶️ 🌶️ spice level for me!

Heartwarming story but a bit slow-paced for me. I got a little bored with the repetitiveness towards the end. Only a 🌶️ 🌶️ spice level for me!

This was awesome 🤩! Twisty, spicy, suspenseful.. all of the things! Hoping to get to Brimstone in January.

Thank you so much for letting me join in on the #fridayhappyreadinghour ! Apologies that I don‘t know who all to tag yet, but I‘ll get there! The porch is bare since it‘s winter but still not cold enough for me to not sit outside and read (it‘s my best reading spot)!

Delayed morning thanks to this gorgeous snow, so spending some time with Callie Hart! 🤩 ❄️

There are so many books that I want to read in December ! 😩 🤩 I could keep going and going.. #bookspin #doublespin #bookspinbingo

November wrap up! Red Flags was the only one that I wasn‘t impressed with.

I have finally finished it! The MMC and FMC are amazing. Despite it not being tagged a ‘romance‘, I think amidst all of the darkness, it is a devastatingly great romance.

Nash is a dream 🤩, but a bit repetitive… we get it. Glad the battles were won though.

The MFC is aggravating, but gives off a good lesson in the end. I wish the ‘thriller‘ tag was not associated with this book anywhere. It is speculative fiction. IMO the writing is good and it is suspenseful at times, it‘s just not my type of book.

Audio puzzling for a bit today 🎧 - I keep reading other books in between chapters so I‘m still on this book 😂 🫣

A little bit of everything in this one! A spicy (🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️), fast-burn with an emphasis on the lovely-dovey (maybe too much towards the end). The MMC parallels Christian Grey at times and the drama that pops up is fun! It‘s definitely a tugger of the heart-strings too. ⚠️ Trigger warning: ⚠️ loss of a parent. My November #doublespin !

A courageous and brilliant woman. Obviously a tough read, but she sheds light on the experiences and perspective‘s of people who have gone through this much trauma. I think she has helped even more people just by relaying that she used music and animals to cope at times, and the words that hit her the hardest. She fought hard, and I hope she still wins more battles in death.

Way more kindle books than physical books last month!

No character development, pure smut. Which is ok at times, but this one was just.. cheesy? Bad wording? 😒

Do not let the (ridiculous 😂) title fool you with this one! It‘s smut, yes, but it‘s really well-written as far as first person POV, scenery, etc! It‘s an edge of your seat read on the beginning and then the ending is like a totally different book, and she sets you up for the second book that‘s coming!

Mostly just pure smut (fine with me)! A quick, easy and fun read. Reminded me a bit of Caught Up. #readyourkindle

Took the day off so I‘m going to have a Halloween novella readathon !🤓😌

Ehh. The Irish folklore tie-in is cool. I know it‘s a Halloween book, but I would have preferred something more believable, and definitely better closure! #readyourkindle

Picked this one up on a whim after cataloging it, and it was phenomenal. I don‘t generally get into “detective” novels sometimes, but it was well-written, twisty, and had a great cast of characters.

This was a super fun read. Scare-play spicy and well-paced for the short length. #readyourkindle

The spookiest of this series so far. Really good storyline for a short book, too. #readyourkindle

Not my favorite is this series, so far. I needed a little more from the ending! #readyourkindle

Alchemised progress update—because it‘s going to take me forever, and I‘m reading other books in the meantime. This picture makes me look farther in than I am 😝 (22%), but it got really good before I had to put it away this morning!

This one tugged at my heart strings 🥹! The setting, the decade, the characters— all amazing.

All likeable characters and (some) spice made me really like this one. Plus, it wasn‘t such a slowwwww 🔥! Medium-paced and it made it a quick, fun read. My October #doublespin !

Typical semi-stupid FMC from Freida, but also typical and crazy twists! Always a fast, fun read when it‘s Freida.

September wrap-up! Laurie Gilmore and Lauren Roberts were the best 🤩!

AS USUAL, I've been slacking on my Kindle books.. so, since it's my favorite time of the year, and there are an amazing amount of Halloween dark romance novellas out there now, I shall try this again! #readyourkindle

@mcipher I am beyond thrilled with this #fallingforfallswap package! Blind dates with a book are always fun, and I‘m obsessed with the notebooks and the soap (and everything else)! Thank you! 🧡 #fffs 💛 Thank you, as always, for hosting, ladies!

I adore this series! I‘m thinking Annie and Mac are my favorite!! 🤩 A bit spicer than the others 👍🏻 and Mac is super swoon-worthy when he finally gets demanding.

A quick, 5 chapter, straight to the point book about how to decide what to keep, what to get rid of, and how to organize better. She keeps it totally real and it was almost like she was talking right to me lol (other than the chapter about getting rid of books 😆)! A lot of swearing, but that doesn‘t bother me because it‘s just in real talk.

I had to put my fur baby down today. I had her for the whole 12 years of her life and she was my mini-me 🥺. It hurts, and this is my first posting about it because this is my safe place, but at least she feels better now ❤️🩹💔.

@mcipher my #fallingforfallswap has arrived- thank you!! ☺️ #fffs

I flew through this even though I wasn‘t entirely impressed. I thought there were more twists coming than there actually were. Definitely unique with the plot!

Not quite as funny as a Meghan Quinn book, but still cute. I just don‘t think that I am a slow-burn person 🤪!

It took me 4 months and 3 checkouts from Libby to finish this audiobook 😂! I thought it would be more interesting to listen to him read it than for me to read it.

Day off! I‘m spending a little more time reading on the porch in the (finally) cooler air before I get the to-do list done.
