Thank you so much Jenni @sprainedbrain ! I love the Italian theme: lasagna, Leonardo and limoncello! Can‘t wait to try the recipe and the book!

#BookReport. The tagged book will take me awhile. Really enjoying The Swimmers so far. Loved the Delia Ephron memoir and the Heller (#BookSpin completed). Great start to the month.

(Not pictured because it was cut off at the bottom: Breathless)
A very good month for me, quantity and quality! Top two were my favs. #AprilWrapUp
I really, really liked this book. 4⭐️s. I liked The River and thought this was even better. But what‘s with the spacing? It‘s like a student double spacing to make a term paper look longer 😜. It‘s a 257 page book. Without skipping lines it probably would have been barely 200. 😆
It arrived @sprainedbrain ! And I guess we are swap partners! I will be mailing yours tomorrow. May really snuck up on me!

Happy Independent Bookstore Day! Had a lovely afternoon with my son. 2 bookstores, 7 books (4 are his), 2 cheeseburgers! He even bought me a tote bag! #independentbookstoreday #minihaul #TalkingLeavesBookstore #BurningBooksBookstore
Love an outdoor, adventure-gone-wrong thriller! I did not even look at the add ons. I only have one credit left till renewal. I think my one year membership lasted 7 months! #BOTM #Bookmailisthebestmail
I really liked this book, especially the parts about music and the violin. I enjoyed the mystery (I‘ve heard some people say it was obvious who did it but I always fall for all the red herrings and suspect everybody!) I liked the main character but some of the others were rather one dimensional. The cover is exceptional.
Just started the tagged book and the cover reminded me of something. Finally thought of it, Malibu Rising!
I‘m using the Pop Sugar 2022 Reading Challenge to select backlist from my shelves. So far:
✔️A book about a secret- White Houses
✔️A book with cutlery on cover/in title - The Word is Murder
✔️A book with found family- A Gentleman in Moscow
✔️A book with tiger in title/on cover- Tigers in Red Weather
I ❤️ this story of family, friendship and grief. Waxman creates great characters and is so funny. One minor complaint: the constant blushing. Every character blushes all the time. I was blushing at all the blushing. Needed some editing there. #DoubleSpin done and dusted.
Looks like Annie B. Jones picked another good one. #ThebookshelfTville #Shelfsubscription #MountTBR
Very excited about these two, especially the tagged book. I love the other two Waxman books I‘ve read. #BookSpinBingo #BookSpin #DoubleSpin
Starting this one. I love the cover and the #endpapers.
#MarchStats. Good month. My favorite was I‘ll Have What She‘s Having. It was hard to get through though because I had to google stuff every few pages! I‘m using prompts from the Pop Sugar Reading Challenge to read books from my shelves, so I read the tagged book for the tiger on the cover or in the title prompt.
I almost skipped this month but decided to try the historical fiction. And I really wanted this add on. #BOTM
I have mixed feelings about this one. The rich man poor man theme was a bit cliched. The main character was a bit of a wimp. But I was interested in the story and whipped through it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️s
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️s I loved the narration, the wife‘s point of view interspersed with the husband‘s sea log. #book17
What‘s not to love? Fast paced, twisty, big cast of characters, set over one day, all involving the publishing industry. 👏👏👏 This is my second Chris Pavone novel and I‘m a big fan.
I like to treat myself to a new book on my birthday (as one does). My tradition is to pick something off the shelf that I have never heard of. Since I had a gift card I picked three I never heard of and one (the tagged book) from my wish list. Happy birthday to me!
And thank you to all the Littens who have sent bday wishes!
This is definitely a #blameitonlitsy . Someone posted it and I immediately subscribed. Loving my first issue.
1. The Accident by Chris Pavone
2. Both, since Covid restrictions have been lifted.
3. The tagged book. My hold came in so I will be picking up The Maid tomorrow.
#WeekendReads
I‘m off to a slow start this month. Working on my #bookspin. Good so far. #BookSpin #DoubleSpin
This is the one I hoped would be Annie‘s pick for the March #shelfsubscription. Yay!
Love that there are more books to chose from with #BOTM. It‘s my birthday month so my add on is free!
February has been such a good month for me. I loved everything I read. I guess I‘ll pick Finlay Donovan as my top because of the twisty fun. #FebruaryStats.
It official. Unless I go crazy today or tomorrow I have purchased fewer books in February than I read. This hardly ever happens! 🙃 Anyway, #thisweekinnewbooks features one used book and one kindle bargain.
I love a good curmudgeon and Ivy is one of the best. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️
I ❤️ Abbi Waxman! She will be an auto buy author for me. I love her characters and the humor she infuses into her domestic dramas. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️s
My first nonfiction of the year.

#thisweekinnewbooks and last week, too. Believe it or not I‘ve read more books than I‘ve purchased this month (so far!) This bunch includes my subscription from The Bookshelf Thomasville (tagged book) and The Violin Conspiracy, my pick from the Currently Reading podcast indie press list. Yay Indie Bookstores. (The other two are from Amazon🤪) #MountTBR
Dark and twisty with a strong sense of foreboding. Took a little turn at the beginning that I wasn‘t expecting but liked. #DoubleSpin #BookSpinBingo
