Started this one today. Moved to a new place across the country. Needed a break so I went down to the local bookstore down the street. This jumped out at me... reading this curled up in bed is much more appealing than unpacking 😂 #YA #LGBTQ #pridemonth #bibliophile

I was excited to get my hands on a copy of this book but I was also weary because I was unsure if anyone could do an adaptation of her diary justice. With that said, I have to admit that I absolutely loved the adaptation! The graphics were stunning and thoughtful and they did not take away from the importance and depth of Anne‘s diary. I definitely recommend it!. #annefrank #adaptation #memoir #graphicnovel

This book is horrifyingly beautiful. The subject matter is disturbing and difficult to stomach at times but the writing is beautiful and the protagonist is, in my opinion, a very strong and likeable young woman. If you do not have a strong stomach this is not for you. I couldn‘t put it down for long though and finished the book in two days. #thriller #horror #bibliophile #bookworm
