After difficulty finding an audiobook immediately available on Libby for Pride Month, I decided to search for a banned book. This is one that I selected. So important and so astonishing to me that someone, some “many”, would prefer that this book not be available. I like this cover more than the one on the hardcover I read (US, library) Anyway, I am giving this a “Pick with reservations” and truly, this is a case of “Book, it‘s not you, it‘s me”. I just couldn‘t overcome the reluctance I felt, the chore it seemed to get this thing read!! I don‘t have time for this, too many books coming at me fast and fury with deadlines. I made it to page 200 before I skipped to the last 4 chapters ⬇️

Had a GREAT time on my “Me Adventure” exploring the #IndieBookstoreDay crawl. I somehow lost my punchcard after the third stop and though I visited the 4th stop, it was SO PACKED with PEOPLE that I decided just to go home. However! There were few cars at the downtown USPS so I stopped to buy $92+ worth of stamps!! 🧐🤓💌📬🤩😎 No line, a super nice clerk and they still had John Lewis stamps. MAKE GOOD TROUBLE
