Today I fell down the stairs and badly rolled my ankle. Thankfully it's not broken but I'm in a soft cast and have crutches. I'm so tired and overwhelmed with everything that keeps happening. I need some calm and peace.

Life update:
Thank you for all the well wishes for Link! He is home & doing well! Unfortunately a few days ago I sat on an old wooden chair & it broke & a rod punctured my leg. I am sore but managing. We are currently visiting family in WI so not being home makes things more stressful. Also a day before we left I had to go to the ER b/c of bad pain from passing a kidney stone.

Please keep my precious baby Link in your thoughts. We had to rush him to the emergency vet today due to a urinary blockage. He has to be hospitalized for the next few days. We're so worried but remaining hopeful that he'll be OK! 😭

This is always such a tough question for me cause I would much rather go into a story then have the characters come into my world lol
But I think hanging out with the characters from Heartstopper would be cute and fun! I'd order a bunch of food and we could watch movies and play games. Oh and I'd take them to my favorite local cafe and we'd all get fun drinks and pastries. 🥐🧋

My huge birthday book haul!! My husband let me loose in Barnes and Noble and said get whatever you want! Perfect end to my birthday week! 🎉💖🥰
so-so2.75/5 ⭐️ I really expected more from this book. I felt like the book moved so slow and then the ending was just rushed in a few pages and seemed abrupt. Also it was just overall sad. I did appreciate this immigrant perspective though. #FoodandLit 🇩🇴

1. The tagged was boring and way too long. Normal people was terrible characters and writing. Hated the writing style too.
2. Anything by Grady Hendrix or Riley Sager. Really any book that is mainly thriller or horror I'm just not a fan of. I read southern book club's guide to slaying vampires and ugh, I was just mad and disgusted the whole time.

January was not a good month for me so I didn't get to do much for #LitsyCrafters
I created a page in my journal to write and doodle some ideas. The only thing I made was this Barbie cassette sticker. My sister and I used to jam to this cassette when we were little 😂 I found the image and turned it into a sticker. 💖
Hopefully February will be better for my crafting!
I made katogo for #FoodandLit Uganda 🇺🇬 It's a potato and bean stew. Purple and regular sweet potatoes. Perfect for a chilly day but I prefer other stews to this one
I saw so many people do this last year and I was sad I didn't participate, so I'm not missing out this year!! I had 3 five ⭐️ reads this month but I'm a sucker for fantasy so this was my favorite!
