Ooh what a fun prompt! This one has a publisher's date of 1885, with a handwritten inscription Christmas of that year. I've several other books that look old but don't have a copyright or publisher's date to tell me just how old.

Fascinating nonfiction about the lives of Duchess Jacquetta, Elizabeth Woodville, and Margaret Beauford. Each of these women, Philippa Gregory has written novels about: The Rivers Women, the White Queen, and the Red Queen, respectively.

The first in the Rizzoli and Isles series, which I've read but somehow don't own (though I own most of the rest of them). One of my favorite thriller authors.
