Sweet story but left me cold.

I didn't like Vanessa who was soo insecure. She needed Aiden to stand for her and then he used his fists. I just can't understand what's hot in violence or why you would need someone to speak/act for you. I still liked friendship of Vanessa & Aiden. For me it's hard to understand why this kind of book should be this long because it was partly annoyingly repetitive.

I enjoyed this book so much more than I thought I would: this was so much more than what I expected.

I liked characters and this time even the romance was good. Not first, but I ended up shipping them. This was one big adventure and had several good twists.

I loved characters, they were hilarious but there were also some thoughts about childrens' and parents' relationships. This tasted like a life :) This was really cozy and pleasurable read, just perfect for me after a rough week. I had so much fun with this story!

@Andrew65 I did it, I DID IT!! I finished this during #novelnovember and completed my goal: 9 books in 9 days. I am so happy that I ended up to start this one after the previous book :D

Andrew65 A brilliant Readathon 👏👏👏🙌🥳🥳🥳🍾🥂😍👍😊 Well done and thanks for playing along. 5d

It's hard to believe that #novelnovember is over now, thank you for hosting @Andrew65

I read 8 books, 4 in English and 4 in Finnish. I hadn't the easiest week but I got still something read. My friend had also a birthday party yesterday and it distracted my reading this weekend. I read 3 awesome books, 3 okay books and 2 books that wasn't that good.

Andrew65 Great to have you us and you did brilliantly! 👏👏👏🙌🍾🥂🥳🥳🥳😍🍾😊 Will tag you in further announcements. 6d
PageShifter Thank you @Andrew65 ^_^ This was fun! :) 6d
Andrew65 @PageShifter Great to hear as that‘s what it should be. Next Readathon I run is the #24in4 Readathon (26th - 29th Nov) with the aim to read 24 hours in 4 days or can set own goal. 6d

The thing that made me disappointed: suspense. This was a thriller but it didn't feel like it because there wasn't suspense. Thriller without suspense?? Not a thriller for me. I was so disappointed. And I hated the ending.

This book was boring, but I think I might have liked this more without waiting for reading a captivating thriller.

This was book 8 during #novelnovember

This maybe wasn't overall as awesome as I first thought it would be but this was still really entertainig read and I had fun time with it.

Unfortunately characters were a bit cliche even though I liked how misfortune followed Mina everywhere at the beginning. She was easy to relate to. I really loved how fairy tales came alive in modern world! I somehow love that always and it made this book as well feel magical.

I decided to read a Finnish mystery/crime book and this series has been very popular. This was nice and decent read but I think the newer ones could be even better.

I enjoyed reading this book even though I liked present story more than past. I love books where someone is escaping - they can be so thrilling and this book sure was it!

There were two timelines and I wasn't really invested in the past timeline immediately. It took some time before it captivated me.

Overall this was really captivating read for me.

End of day 4 of #novelnovember

Work took so many hours today and then I had some things that worried me and I had hard to concentrate on reading. I still managed to:

1. Finish Life, the Universe and Everything
2. Continue Pieces of Her

Reading Pieces of Her saved my day today!

Total 4 books read

Andrew65 Read can be a great help. Well done 👏👏👏 2w

I can't say if this was really succesful re-read but well. This had some fun moments.

Characters were great again and overall this had some hilarious moments! I still dislike the writing style, it makes me to really struggle and it takes away my pleasure for reading. I love the humor though. Plot was again weak, maybe weaker than the first two installments'.

Book 4 during #novelnovember

Andrew65 Doing great, this is not my favourite of the books.👏👏👏 (edited) 2w
RamsFan1963 This is my least favorite book of the series. 1w
PageShifter I am so happy to hear that @Andrew65 and @RamsFan1963! Because I was planning to re-read all five books and was so disappointed with this one 1w

I accidentally posted this as a blurb, so I only add now : PICK ;)

Reading this was pure pleasure, I loved everything: characters, story, setting. I loved to follow characters' lives - and they really had to struggle through things.

I loved the atmosphere, I don't know why but isolated towns are dear to me. And this was a historical also so life was a bit different than nowadays.

End of day 1 of #novelnovember

I had a brilliant start because I have enjoyed reading. I hadn't really much time for reading today because I was visiting my relatives - but I had an awesome day full of love and the time I had with books was pleasurable:

1. Finished Good Girl, Bad Blood
2. Started The Giver of Stars

Reading this book was a pleasure. It maybe wasn't the most believable but still. Not every book has to be.

This didn't have scary scenes like the first installment had and that was a bit disappointing. But there was still a mystery to solve and it was captivating to follow how it goes.

Book 1 during #novelnovember

Andrew65 Brilliant start 👏👏👏 2w
PageShifter @Andrew65 I also consider this as brilliant: start with the good book! I have had so much fun already ^_^ 2w

This was a decent read but my biggest problem with this was that there was something that has beginned as an insta-love and I couldn't relate to it. And this wasn't as thrilling as the second installment.

Pacing felt a bit off: the beginning was good but then there was a big part of the book where happened almost nothing. The last 100 pages had all the action.

5. Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia
6. The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes
