This was a pick , but I don‘t think it‘s worth all the hype,I am hoping the next one will be better 🤷♀️

A rom-com with a really good story
This book was a satisfying summer read! A story of family drama set on a island in Rhode Island
This story starts with three different girls who end up in a foster house with a foster mother and all their crazy experiences. The story then moves to them as adults the trauma of their childhood shapes the woman they have become and the truth of their past gets exposed. The plot was interesting and kept the story going, there was a few twists that had you second guessing over all a quick read
Lisa See brings the 15 century China to life in this book. She details all the cultural that is so disturbing at times, but weaves a story of the woman who have learned to doctor themselves and how friendships are formed from two different classes and the stories that follow them , really well researched
This was a fun well crafted murder mystery set in an original high fantasy world. Loved the main characters a really good read
I had to sit with this for a few minutes before I reviewed. This was a beautifully haunting gothic story of love, freedom, and desire.the whole story even the ugly parts were written with such rich prose just really masterful! With that being said, I wanted more in the pacing and plot and less reiteration 4🌟
Loved everything about this book 5 ⭐️
Best read so far this year highly recommend!
I enjoyed this story with dueltime lines, it had adventures, love story , witchy vibes and wonderful descriptions of the Italian coast the people and culture
This was the best of the three in this series I did like the cross over and refreshes my memory of ACOTAR
And hopefully the new book I hear is coming out. But so long !
100% pick 5 ⭐️ this book was creative and funny. Miller writes in a way that isn‘t supposed to be realistic it‘s got meaning with a quirky story so of coarse it will wrap up neatly or be predictable if you don‘t get that then your missing the point of this book
All the characters and their story‘s had significance and sadly this mirrors what is happening today , but what this book showed me was hope!
I liked this book and these characters but I felt like at over 800 pages there should have been more action Or something it was too long , the last quarter of the book made this a pick for me or it would have been a so-so
I rarely read rom-com books but this came up on Libby audio, many laugh out loud moments, a good plot and I liked the different pov from Anna and Liam , good ending oh and you can‘t have a good rom-com without some 🌶️😉
I thought the beginning of this book was slow, but eventually it became more linear and really picked up and i enjoyed it !
A beautifully written powerful story. I was moved to numbness at some points, written in 2013, it is mind blowing how the racist issues talked about in this book that have been moved forward over time, slowly yes,but moved in the right direction, now in less then two months is being decimated.I loved following Ifemelu through her life experiences and her choices and the characters that were so important in her life a satisfying ending
This story is about Maddy a young college student who is given bipolar diagnosis. I learned a lot about this awful disorder and had empathy for Maddy but at the same time there was something about the story and main character and the ending that just didn‘t sit well with me I don‘t have enough room here to explain. This was between pick & so-so
Meh didn‘t love this one
You have until February 26 to download copies of your kindle books, after that Amazon will remove the ability to download books to files you can control yourself ,also some digital books are being edited even on books that have been purchased, what does this mean for the future of ebooks when books can be changed on a whim I would worry history could be written differently! This is sickening 🤬
Fredrik Backman is in a class of his own, I love the way this story is quirky yet heartwarming. The characters aren‘t perfect but perfectly human and I found myself rooting for all of them!
This was a fun family with a ex boyfriend at Christmas in the mountains. I thought it was a little dragged out but still enjoyed it!

I am not in the majority on liking this book, yes it was a creative magic system but honestly too much , there was a whole slew of horrible themes, colonialism, racism, misogyny, and yes it‘s a reflection of society good and evil. But most of the plot except for the last few chapters is heavy, forced dialogue it was repetitive and I found myself skimming.

My daughter bought me this cool sweatshirt and brought me to see Wicked for my birthday 🥳
What a fantastic show I saw the play years ago but liked the movie better 💚🩷
This was a unique epic fantasy that blends reality, and fantasy with really interesting characters. It's hard to explain what this story is about but just know going in that it's immersive and convoluted at times but the author full circles everything you think you have questions about.
Clever, original, and well written

This book was eye opening to say the least, Cheney explains what happened from the aftermath of the 2020 election craziness to the January 6 attack. She explains everything that she witnessed and how she so adamantly tried to express how important the Constitution is and how provisions were put in place for a reason! Its disheartening how many in our government stand behind Trump and not upholding their oath to the Constitution

I was completely immersed in this story In these characters in the plot. So much about the setting, the culture and the era took a little time with a lot of back stories but it was well worth it and it all came together. This was not only about the past but glimpses of the future a moving remarkable story !
