This was an adorable read at the Christmas season. A romance where you cared about what happened to the characters. Light hearted, heartfelt and magical. The perfect holiday read for the season.

This was brilliant for a finding yourself and your soulmate romance novel. Different from the usual, and fun to read!

This holiday romance is just oozing candy canes, gingerbread, and hot cocoa. I liked our protagonists. I loved the afterlife bureaucracy. The plot was a bit meh. Read for Christmassy vibes.

Cozy and cute, cheesy and quick, holiday vibes and magic. Nothing to stand out as very special (for me personally) but enjoyable.

Not my favorite from this author, so far, but a different take on Magical Realism and I loved the antique shop setting. Great banter!

December Wrap Up
A #BookSpinBingo to end the year with 🎉 Tagged book was also a #TBRTarot pick for the book with multiple POVs prompt. Ended the year with 13 free spaces to spare. I will try my best not to squander them this year 😂

Starting the year off with a snow covered porch and B.K. Borison!

This was such a great book for #LittensLoveRomance. It gave me all the feels 🥰 The pacing of the romance and the reveal of information was fantastic; had me reading ahead to see what happened! Needless to say Harriet and Nolan get their HEA 💝

On a cold, blustery night
Not a soul in sight
With a glass of wine
And this book of mine
I‘ll settle in
To read my #bookspin!

Man this was such a good book! I finished it right before Christmas. I loved the whole thing: premise, characters, world. I really hope there‘s another book. I listened on audio, so please enjoy a picture of Wes opening a Bluey book from Santa :)

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.37-39: I loved the ending of this book - so utterly romantic- two souls waiting to exist in the same time. Destined to be together. How wonderful💕But I‘d have loved an epilogue. Is Nolan human now? What challenges come with that? I *should* be completely satisfied with this book but I want more. I think I fell so hard for these characters I don‘t want to let go⬇️

Nolan, a ghost, spends his time haunting in the holidays awaiting the afterlife. He is assigned Harriet, a good person and a people pleaser. As they examine her past together, they discover they are linked. Will Nolan still want to go to his afterlife or help save Harriet?
I liked the idea of a Ghost of Christmas Past and visiting old memories but I couldn‘t connect with the characters at times. It took me a while to finish the book. 🎄📖

I'm still reading Christmas books because, well because, I still have more I wanted to read!
This was a fun twist on A Christmas Carol as Nolan, a ghost of Christmas Past, is assigned to haunt Harriet but it doesn't go as planned. At least not in line with his experiences of the last hundred or so years! I loved Nolan. I loved Harriet. This was fun.

This was such a good read for this season. I had to finish this. Thanks to @StayCurious for hosting #LittensLoveRomance #BuddyRead
I really enjoyed this one. #Read2025 @DieAReader

#LittensLoveRomance ch. 34-36: well, just like Harriet, we knew it was coming, we anticipated the end, but man, we‘re still gutted. I need to know where Nolan went. He didn‘t take his compass. How will he find his way back? We‘ll finish up tomorrow!

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.31-33: heading back to the day he died is intense - the universe has a message for them both - perhaps Harriet was meant to be with Nolan when he passed. Perhaps his soul remembers her from then and that is why they have such a strong connection. So many unknowns right now! Ok…that‘s a sign to keep reading 😜

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.28-30: Sorry I missed posting on Xmas Eve - things got too busy! I will post again later today to keep us on schedule. I hope everyone had a lovely holiday. Harriet finally said what needed to be said to her family and good for her! Sometimes you need to cut out the toxic elements of your life to be truly happy. Harriet didn‘t belong in that family. I sometimes wonder if she actually belongs in the past with Nolan.⬇️
I had medium expectations due to “Lovelight Farms”being just okay for me, but this was really neat! I liked the romance, and the twist on the “traditional” ghost of Christmas past lore a lot, but found the way everything comes together in the end to be the most pleasing part overall.

Happy Solstice / Christmas / Holidays, littens! Mark and I have done presents and are enjoying the Irish oatmeal we both love. Hot tub then Lions later. Cheers to all! (The tagged book is terrific)

Merry Christmas everyone!
My bookish haul so far - I've included the money because it's unlikely to go on anything else 🤣

I loved this so much. Nolan stopped standing up to his full height and I didn‘t have to burn the book. It was fun and sexy and sad and sweet and ugh. Plenty of second chances and character growth. My heart is full and my cheeks are wet from tears. 💖

Thank you! @LittlebearReads Cant wait to try and squeeze this one in this weekend! Im in the middle of a book now if not id start it tonight lol thank you for hosting @MaleficentBookDragon #Jolabokaflod #Jolabokaflodswap #JS2025 #Jolabokaflod2025

There‘s nothing better than a good book with two wiener dogs laying on my lap.

Apparently, characters pulling themselves up to their full height is my biggest bookish pet peeve. Nolan has done this three times in 92 pages and I‘m about to throw the book into the fireplace. (Other than that, the book is lovely and I‘m enjoying it, but it‘s never good when I‘m counting instances of anything in a book. 🤬)

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.25-27: I‘m so sad reading Harriet‘s memories. How could her family, most of all her sister, treat her like that? I hope she makes a genuine splash at this gala with Nolan at her side. I hope her family notice him and he makes them feel really guilty for how they treat Harriet.

I held out as long as I could and went ahead and finished this today while I was doing the last of the holiday errands and wrapping. Loved it! I would really like to see an adaptation! This is loosely based on A Christmas Carol, one of my all-time faves, so I had a feeling I would like it.

I couldn‘t stop 🙈 I meant to read today‘s chapters while I sat in Starbucks, and I finished it! #littensloveromance

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.22-24: Sugar and lots of Spice, and everything nice for two people who totally deserve happiness. And then, the other shoe drops and Isabella shows up. Scary. I really don‘t know what will happen. There are laws in Nolan‘s world that seem like they can‘t be messed with. Even for true love.

This is a very cute holiday romance, loosely inspired by The Christmas Carol. It definitely feels like a Christmas romance movie - in fact I think I would like the movie even more. It has some cliches, and the first half felt a touch repetitive. However, I really liked the characters and the last third made me glad I stuck it out. A solid choice if you are looking for a mildly steamy seasonal read. 3.5⭐️

#littensloveromance I couldn‘t help myself and read to the end last night 🤦🏻♀️😆 I loved this delightful twist on ghosts of Christmas past ❤️ it was magically delicious, as was Nolan who visits Harriet to show her the error of her ways. A grumpy vs sunshine and apparently that‘s my jam 😉

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.19-21: Is Nolan‘s magic going out of control b/c he and Harriet are giving into their feelings? That was a passionate kiss - maybe it ticked off the powers that be. Or maybe Nolan is the compass that is spinning around. These trips to the past are confusing for us all - but I‘m sure all will be revealed. Hopefully before hearts are broken or the Christmas Eve deadline arrives and Nolan disappears from Harriet‘s memories.

⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
“What a gift that is. To still wish and dream and want. To find the good. To wear it on your sleeve.”
A candy cane in book form. It‘s probably best to let your mind gloss over any logistical details/plot holes and just go along on the romantic, magical holiday ride!

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.16-18: I love the chemistry between these characters. It‘s so real and tangible they can‘t deny their attraction. But what will the consequences be? Will Nolan get in trouble at his job? Will he be forced to hand Harriet to another ghost? I am so rooting for these two. I‘m also curious about the issue Isabella is dealing with about the Reaper. 😆

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“Good Spirits” is a cute Christmas read in which my only complaint is that I didn‘t need the spicy scenes as the story itself was romantic and enjoyable.

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.13-15: poor Harriet. I get why Nolan is energized and excited to think of the possibility of moving on - but he doesn‘t realize how his actions hurt her. She‘s been abandoned her whole life. And now, when she‘s starting to feel for him, he is looking forward to moving on. sad. But I also totally get his perspective.

This was definitely a fun holiday frolic, with lots of deep feels and a hint of nostalgic sweetness. Our FMC, Harriet, has a troubled past, and who better to see her through than Nolan, Ghost of Christmas Past! Not a ton of surprises, but lots of family-driven angst, spicy romance, and cozy vibes. The bit of supernatural hits a good note, and paves the way for more stories in this universe, which is definitely read. A lovely holiday read!

I knew I would like this but I didn‘t expect that I would LOVE this book… it was everything I wanted in a Christmas book and more!! I sure hope there is more to come with these characters!!

What do you do when you have an early release from school because of bad weather??? You curl up with you book and kitties of course!

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.10-12: ooh how interesting- maybe this haunting really is about Nolan, not Harriet. Maybe she is meant to show him things, not the other way around. He‘s starting to taste and feel and they jump into his past - what a neat twist and one I wasn‘t expecting. This book and the characters have me so invested.

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.7-9: poor Harriet. I understand where Nolan is coming from but he was pretty harsh and I feel for her. I know he feels bad for how he reacted to her plan. Now he‘ll have to fix it so she trusts him again. She could be right, you know. She could be meant to get him out of his rut. It could be the universe‘s gift to him and her. We‘ll have to see how he grovels to get back in her good graces.

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.4-6: I really feel for Harriet. Seems as though her home life was stifling. And she misses her connections with her aunt Matilda and her sister. She‘s just as lonely as Nolan I think. I hope she can reconnect with her sister and maybe grow the backbone needed to tell off her mother.

Time for a Christmas read. I have the Owlcrate edition of Good Spirits.

Started this #audiobook today!
Just three chapters in and I‘m in love! The banter is realistic and entertaining. Nolan is a 100 year old ghost who has this whole “ghost of Christmas past” thing down. While Harriet isn‘t sure why she‘s being haunted. I can‘t wait to see both of their evolutions!

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.1-3: what a fun start! I already love the tongue in cheek style (spirits head quarters being in Bed Bath & beyond at one time 😆) I liked how Harriet didn‘t just accept her haunting. She asked to speak to his manager! She is not going to be a pushover for this world weary ghost. Looking forward to seeing what happens and why she is being haunted.
