Here‘s the reading chart I filled out in 2021.
Here‘s my reading progress for #beatthebacklist. It looks like I‘m close to getting another bingo. I‘m probably not going to fill in this entire bingo board but I‘m going to have fun trying anyway. I discovered this reading challenge kind of late this year but I‘ve got 1 bingo so far.
My new planner finally arrived after getting lost in the mail (๐) and i spent the whole weekend breaking it in. Here‘s my #bookspinbingo inspired 64 point #readingchallenge for this year! #bujo
Better late than never. Here is my #bookspin list for Jan.
Update on my bingo board so far, I managed to finish A Deal With The Elf King for #bookspin *yeay
@TheAromaofBooks #bookspinbingo
Completed my reading challenge for 2021! ๐๐ฅณ๐๐ปNow I can just ... read ... without any self-imposed pressure. ๐๐ผ
And got it done right close to the end. Goodreads 2020 Reading Challenge complete!
Yaaay!
Since we have nine days off of school, we‘re having a family reading challenge! G said I will obviously win, so I told her to make it more fair, I won‘t count my audiobooks. ๐คฃ
Finished early this year. So happy that CoVID let me read so much. One good thing in this mess! #readingchallenge
My progress on my Goodreads challenge so far. If I reach my goal then I will increase the goal. My goal now is to read 77 books and if I reach that then I will change it to 80 books.
Hello Everyone,
It's July 1!!!
That means the 2020/2021 edition of the #BBRC is now open for registrations. https://forms.gle/kqLNrhkLWmyxqq267
just a reminder this is a fun year long challenge to get reads to read books for all ages. This year we have a heavy focus on diversty. Follow the hash tags and see this years prompts.
Last year participants, you have until July 4 to get all your titles turned in.
Happy Reading
@SarahReadsTooMuch
The #AtoZ part of the challenge for picture books has not changed. They only thing we ask is to make as many as possible (of which 75% should be possible) DIVERSE. This is any and all forms of diversity. We didn't ask for 100% because we know some letters are already hard.
Just a reminder there are Goodreads Lists for letters Q, X, and Z that you can add on to for those amazing finds I missed.
#BBRC @SarahReadsTooMuch
So you want a sneak peak at the 2020-2021 #BBRC challenge?
This year I am being joined by co-host @sarahreadstoomuch who help me put the fun back in my list and not make it so stoic.
For newbees, #BBRC is a reading challenge to get you reading across age groups. Each prompt is up to your interpretation but your hosts will give you all the help you may need.
Sign-ups will begin July 1 (you know after I had out the prizes for the last one).
I think I may have made #TeenAngst a little too easy for myself as this was the first section I finished. #BBRC
#booked2020 I'm over halfway there just not in season order. I have my books picked out for Silk Punk, and I have a feeling the audiobook I am listening to will fit a character who whines. I even have my asia book picked out (but it's a door stopper).
So I will finish, but like every other year, not in order. @4thhouseontheleft @cinfhen @barbarabibliophage

How many of these books have you read:

I read 77 books in 2019 which is amazing for me, 25 books more than goal established in GR. This year my goals I think are realistic. All goals can be connected with different reading challenges. I will participate in #ReadwithMrBook and #ReadingwithMaja reading challenges in Litsy. I will keep this journal to document my readings in different challenges plus I have a reading planner. I love to decorate them with stickers.
Me in December 2019 "Probably won't commit to any reading challenges next year"
Me in January 2020 "Oh go on just afew challenges then" ?

Well, I didn‘t make my challenge this year (46/48), but I could‘ve if I wasn‘t so busy and sick at the end of the year; oh well! Next year I plan to keep the bar low, so I can enjoy my reading time since most of my time will be focused on school again this year. Here‘s to 2020! ๐ฅณ๐
That silly Shakespeare was my last book for the 2019 #Popsugar challenge!
Now I only have 1 book left to read to complete the #LitsyAtoZ challenge, and then all of my reading challenges for the year will be done.

Making progress this year. Even if the last month wasn't that great. ๐
I think it was a bit like a reading slump...
My #tbr reading so far this year. I‘ve actually read more than I thought.
I‘m borrowing @LibrarianRyan graphics
I haven‘t signed up for many reading challenges this year, but I‘m going to give this one a shot! Check out the hashtag #bbrc for the link to sign up. Thanks, @LibrarianRyan
Have you signed up for the #BBRC Birth and Beyond Reading Challenge. We have 44 challengers so far, and if you are not on the list, but would like to participate there is still time.
The #BBRC is pretty easy. It's a list of 77 books to read (you choose the titles to match the prompts) that covers books for the youngest to the oldest of us all. The challenge goes for 1 year: July 1, 2019-June 30, 2020.

Yay! Goodreads reading challenge completed! ๐๐๐๐๐
But with six months still left in the year, and with a portion of these being picture books for storytime prep, I'd definitely like to read another 50+ that are a healthy combo/balance of middle grade, YA, and literary adult fiction.
So let's get to it!
#Goodreadsreadingchallenge #readallthebooks
These are my picks for #booked2019 summer. Of course, they are subject to change!
1. Genrebusting

6. Diverse Middle Grade
Mid year check in for #goodreadschallenge and while I‘m a little behind I‘m feeling pretty good about my progress. I can guarantee I‘ll more than catch up in July because I‘ve got a long holiday weekend and a readathon bookending the month! ๐
Speaking of #booked2019 here‘s an update. Hopefully I can cross some more prompts out over this break!๐ค๐ผ
Not sure how well I'd do but I'm all signed up! @LibrarianRyan has created some really great, creative themes/prompts for this challenge that it's hard to say no!

An interesting six minute read about reading goals and challenges. โThe only difference between a nonreader and a reader is that a reader has a plan for future reading and a nonreader does not.โ
