Two books are part of a series I own. The rest sounds so interesting! It will be a great opportunity to read those books I own but I really want to start with Sunrise on the Reaping which I will buy. This was for #CBBC I think the book sent was the second in the series but I wanted to read first book #1.
The typical cozy mystery. Here the mystery and plot was related with knitting 🧶 which I don‘t do but it was interesting. The murder was more violent I could say than the typical cozy stories I have read. I already read book #2. 3⭐️

I enjoyed this book inspired my true events. I was absorbed in the book but also I was searching for some historical events. I like the author‘s writing style. Love the cover. After I finished the book, I bought three more books by this author. Couldn‘t finish them this month but looking forward to read them later. 3.8/4⭐️

This one has mixed reviews but it works for me. I haven‘t read The scarlet letter but now I‘m intrigued. I liked the story and the writing style. 4⭐️Beautiful cover😍

April 2025 Book #2
This book starts so good with a crime scene. It is graphic during the crime description and it the victim/trope of crime could be a trigger for some readers. I like the plot, characters and development. However, I think it was unnecessarily long. The location, weather (rain) descriptions are extremely long😳It could be edited. But in general I liked it and I already read book 2. 3.5/3.8⭐️

I will say it was a good reading month. I enjoyed all books I read. Maybe The Safekeep was my least favorite because I expected too much but I really liked this author writing style and I will like to read something else by her.

I know this book was well accepted and won The Booker Price 2024 but I liked it not loved it. It didn‘t work for me. But I have to say that I like the writing style, it was the story that I didn‘t like much. Maybe my perspective about the relationship between these two women is different. I don‘t know but I saw a toxic dysfunctional relationship very manipulative and convenient. ⬇️

March 2025 Book #7 second book in Alex Stern series) I thought it would be a duology but not, third book is expected by September 2026. Well the ending suggests that a third book is coming. This book started very slow, I even thought if it was necessary a second book but then…the action starts. It has many twists and there is no way to describe it without spoilers. If you liked the first book, you will enjoy this one but ⬇️

This is the second book in Tuya (All Yours) duology. Liked it but not loved it. The beginning was so slow and it was about flies if you have any kind of phobia with this insect, this book is not for you. It was interesting to know about this insect but this is not a nonfiction book. You will hate Inés who has l, let‘s say a different personality😬but half way of the book, it changed and kept attention with good twists⬇️

I own like three special editions of this book because they are beautiful and I thought I would love this book. This book has mixed reviews. I‘m in the side of very disappointed team. The writing style is so different of what I use to read by this author, it was like someone else wrote it. The premise is so interesting but I found it extremely boring. Maybe because I was expecting action, intrigue, I don‘t know something else⬇️

I really enjoyed this book about two families and the matriarchal way to raise their families. So different. During my reading I was mad with Mrs Willoughby and more in the side of Mrs. Fowler. But then you follow each family, their sons and daughters through their lives and you will understand each side of the story. This is really a story about family dynamics and each and changes in each generation. So well written and⬇️

I really liked this book. In some way reminded me Eleanor Oliphant is completely Fine. In this case I saw Sally as a woman with a neurocognitive condition (functional diversity) and how hard could be to adapt herself to a typical world. Family secrets, manipulation and even abuse. That‘s how I saw that family behavior (no spoiler)⬇️

March 2025 Book 2 A re-read for me but I only read the first 2 books. Now I‘m planning to finish the series, obviously, next year 😂It was enjoyable to go back to this world and I could say I enjoyed more the story now than the first time. Looking forward to see the dynamic of this “romance?” triangle. We know things will drastically change in the next books. I have the first edition cover and this new hardcover edition🤦🏽‍♀️book collector⬇️3.8⭐️

Yesterday was my 9th Litsyversary! 📚🎂🎉
9 years!!! Wow!🤩

The #CBBC package arrived yesterday. Some neighbors complaint that packages were left too near the stairs, now the post service are leaving packages outside the building😳which means that when is raining packages can be damaged like yesterday. A neighbor saved my package and put it in front of my door 🙌Of course I complained and now they are looking for alternatives to solve the situation👍So, @mommamanzi everything was saved. ⬇️
