My October choices for #readyourTBR challenge
#2023challenge @melissajayne
Good. Interesting concept but somehow it got lost and so the story just seemed so out of order and rationality. I felt sorry for the main character at first then as the story went on I hated her as actions throughout the story just went from bad to worse. The ending was as if the story just didn't happen it just felt too good for the actions leading up to it. Thank you for the free copy #Netgalley.

Good. Part of the Six Queens series number 6.5 to be read after Katherine Parr. Follows the story of her child.

Good. A slow burner but worth the wait for the twists and reveals in the story. Full of intrigue and family secrets.

Oh Amazon you know exactly the right words to say 😂📚📖
Never realised that #Audible has a listening log! Has anyone else found this? Or am I the last to know? 😂📚📖
Good. Hard to read at first as it's very disjointed but when you get into it it's such a good read. A fictionalised account of Marilyn Monroe's life from not just her but her friends and family. My advice with this book is to just go with it and don't think too hard about what you are reading otherwise it won't make sense and will spoil the experience, you need to have some background knowledge before you read this as some things won't make sense.
Just booked this! And even better it was using a voucher that I had from a refund from a show that was cancelled during COVID. 📚📖

Look how pretty the edges are 😍 image from the above website but I have ordered mine from:

It's a special Independent bookseller version.
Good. Shows her journey through depression and how she is working through it. Lovely artwork. Also it gives you hope and inspiration for your own mental health issues, that there is hope and how ever you cope to combat your issues that is ok and that you shouldn't be ashamed to feel those feelings which would only make the problem worse.

Good. Sequel to Miss You. Loved returning to the characters as you got to go further into their story. Even though at times I felt like this was a sequel that wasn't needed as it felt like filler and mundane but in a way this is the beauty of the book as it shows what happens after a whirlwind romance when the shine goes off. Also I got the feeling towards the end that it was also a bit autobiographical.

Very good. Josie Silver just keeps on getting better and better. This book is full of passion, romance and heartache. Wonderful writing that just flows throughout and makes you feel part of the scene, not just reading it on a page. The characters are so relatable and well written. Thank you #Penguin for inviting me to read this via #Netgalley.

Good. Set in South America this covers not just the tumultuous times the country went through but the tumultuous time the character has been through. Full of passion and heartache.

Very good. Full of romance and laughter. Characters are relatable and written so well. The story is funny and flows throughout so that you don't realise that you have read so much of it in one sitting.

Thank you @HarperCollins for sending me these goodies.
I missed Lindsey Kelk's zoom party for Love Me Do a few weeks back due to recovering from surgery and there was supposed to be a recording sent out after it. I emailed Harper Collins about it and they said there were technical issues so as an apology they sent out a summer romance bundle and here it is.

Some goodies from last night. Some biscuits (the items wrapped up), badges, stickers and a phone holder ring.
Even though I was a bit jealous of a woman's tote bag from Lindsey Kelk's book tour of On a Night like this and wished we had tote bags this time 😔 but just being there was really amazing ( still we all love a good tote bag 😂) and these goodies were still good. 📚📖

Some photos of the talk last night. Had a wonderful time. ☺️📚📖

New mug off my fiance! Think he is finally getting my love for reading after 2 years! 😂😂📚📖
Just received my copy of Love Me Do. I got mine from https://www.tealeavesandreads.co.uk/ . First time doing so and I love how it was packed. It is a signed bookplate edition but it does have room for Lindsey to sign it on Tuesday night! Can't wait to meet her! Going to start this tomorrow so I'm prepared!
@FashionableObserver
Good. A compelling thriller that makes you feel like you are with the characters rather than just reading about them. The story just flows and I couldn't put this down. Thank you #Penguin for inviting me to read this via #Netgalley.
