Notes from a Young Black Chef: A Memoir | Joshua David Stein, Kwame Onwuachi
post image
Pickpick

I LOVE culinary memoirs (culinary anything, really), but this is something beyond the typical chef's story. The author asks hard questions about race, class, ageism, pride, and what constitutes a success story. If you're interested in the food world, this is a must read.

I got this book from our publisher to write honest review. I have so mixed feelings about it. It's good book. Characters thinks about stuff that happend to them. Is this coincidence or fate?

Awww I loved this ❤
You can't help but love the two main characters. Stella is just fab and it was a very honest portrayal of someone with aspergers.
I just pictured Michael as some sort of perfect sex God 🤣
Not for the faint hearted though. Very steamy! 🔥

#mmdchallenge for a book outside of my (genre) comfort zone.

My two new books and my last two books on my May #tbr list 📚

The Kiss Quotient is my final book on the #mmdchallenge for a book outside of my (genre) comfort zone

Jinster I just finished The Kiss Quotient on audio. Liked it more than I expected but I was NOT ready for all that detail! 4w
