I finished this one today sitting outside enjoying the nice weather. I really enjoyed it! It did drag a bit here and there but overall was well written, the characters were well done, and I‘d consider reading the next in the series. I‘ll get this in the mail this week.

🎧 Finished this one on #audio today on my way back from driving my Mom home. It was good. Kept me guessing. Maybe a little sophomoric but funny and lighthearted… well, mostly. I started the next one in the #series as I have the first three in one download on chirp.

🎧 Such a good listen! Well plotted out, delightfully written, and well researched. There‘s cross dressing, murder, intrigue, and a love story all in the Pride and Prejudice universe. Ms. Mary Bennett is a spy for Queen and Country. Whatever will she get up to next?

2. I‘m a lawyer. I do write a lot but only boring things for work. I‘m still working on my first novel so I do get some creativity in from time to time.

🎧 This was so good, I started the next one in the #series immediately. I‘m #AudioCleaning to prepare for Easter with the Moms at my house and this has made it so much better. As with the first book, it‘s well plotted and I didn‘t figure out whodunit before the end. It‘s also so fun to spend time in the world of Pride and Prejudice again. We get to see Elizabeth and Darcy, Kitty and Georgiana in this one too. Very well done!

I‘ve been absent recently. Life has been heavy. I‘m not sure this read is going to help but it‘s next on my TBR. I received it Saturday for #LMPBC #Round15 #GroupT. Here goes ladies! @Kimzey @vonnie862 @Readergrrl

Readergrrl Honestly, I loved this book, but if you are feeling the weight of the world right now, don‘t force yourself to read it. Just send it on its merry way! Read something to bring you joy or help you escape for awhile. My feelings will not be hurt one bit!! I enjoyed this book, but it is a heavy read that I wouldn‘t want to read either if I weren‘t in the right frame of mind. Zero pressure! Reading should be a pleasure, not a burden! 8mo

BookishBelle Bloodprint is 425 pgs. Plea of Insanity is 424 pgs. Black Water Rising is 427. Tempests and Slaughter is 455. I can choose some shorter works, if y‘all would rather not go over the page limit. 11mo
Readergrrl These are all very interesting! I think my #1 would be The Dissident‘s Daughter, #2 would be Bloodprint, and #3 would be We. I‘m happy to read any of them, of course! 11mo
vonnie862 Bloodprint or Plea of Insanity look good 11mo
Kimzey My first choice would be Dissident Daughter, because I enjoy spiritual memoirs and would be interested in her take on the feminine divine. But I know that‘s not for everyone.
