Diving into my latest edition of Oh Reader magazine. I love this quarterly #bookish magazine. This is one of my favorite treats to myself.

-Chaos at the Lazy Bones Bookshop by Emmeline Duncan (7/23/24)
-Come Shell or High Water by Molly MacRae (6/25/24)
-Three Fudges and a Baby (4/2/24)
Thanks @kensingtonbooks for making my day and introducing me to some cozy mystery writers!
This is a cute young adult novel about two good friends who realize their feelings for each other over a summer together in NYC.
This book dives into the tropes of friends to lovers, found family, and summer romance, as well as coming of age. The part that made me tear up was how all of our stories are connected, a larger, moving story that gives them all one important thing in common: the need to love and to be loved.
Book 55/100.
I found this fun, plant based clean nail polishes today. Being a Disney girl, I needed them but especially love the Belle one with the books and pink is my favorite color.
I love meeting new authors and @kerryevelynbooks is a real sweetheart. @barkingmadaboutreading introduced me to her and the Coffee Loft series. I just love these sweet romance books however I especially adored Kerry‘s book, “That Thing You Brew”.
I received #bookmail from her today and it is the cutest little package! Thanks @kerryevelynbooks for making this rainy, grey day bright!
Stella Griffin has broken up with her boyfriend three weeks before prom. Stella does NOT believe in fairy tales, so she is shocked when she somehow ends up in one, with the waiter who saw the breakup. Stella & Reece must work together to find a way home without disrupting the story they‘ve stumbled into. This is a frenemy to sweethearts tale and was a cute retelling of Sleeping Beauty.
Book 54/100 of the year.
That Thing You Brew is such a sweet romance between tough hockey player Xavier who happens to be a barron after his OPA passes away & the stuttering brewer of his lucky coffee, Penny. This sweet love story is like a freshly brewed cup of coffee-just right and so needed in the world today! I laughed, cried & routed for Xavier and Penny all the way! These two characters will stick with me as will the story.
Book 51 of the year.
As I sitting here doing homework, my door bell rang. The UPS driver handed me this box from @booksparks .
OMG….I just adore this little book vase! It is the cutest book accessory that I have seen!! And those colors are so me as I am a pink girl!!
The book darts are amazing as well as I dislike writing in books and often use post it notes to annotate.
Many thanks to @booksparks for this lovely surprise package!
I‘m happy to announce that I am part of the @kerryevelynbooks ARC for the That Thing You Brew!
@BarkingMadRead told me about “The Coffee Loft” book series. This is a series of books centered around a coffee chain similar to Starbucks called “The Coffee Loft. All the books are sweet romances (no spice) and most are under 300 pages for quick and happy reading.
I‘m thrilled to get an early copy in this series.
February Bookly Reading Report. I read 23 books in February.
Books 40-50 of the year. Sorry to do it this way but I am exhausted after working a ten hour day today.
My reading buddy tonight as I start this book by a local author @sarahgrunderruiz .

I won these cookbooks and tote bag from @Sourcebooks ! I can‘t wait to dive into them and try new recipes!
I‘m attending the bookclub meeting with @unefemmejames @booksparks @sparkpointstudio to discuss “The Bullet Swallower”.
Meet Hemingway, the library cat.
He has literally lived around my library branch for six years now & we think he was abandoned . For the last two years that I have worked there, he has always run away from everyone.
Monday night upon leaving, he came out up to me meowing. Tuesday morning, the same.
He had two infected teeth & some flea infestation otherwise in good health. He now has a clean bill of health after all the vet care.
I found another fun reading challenge on @getlitsy , seasonal cozies.
I will have to go back to find a January book but here‘s February‘s book for Valentine‘s Day.
Book 39/100 of the year.

I really enjoyed this book. The banter at times between the two main characters and the two sisters really had me laughing.

Today was my first day off of the year. Working all the time gets tiring but I enjoyed finishing this book.
It is so different from the movie, richer in the details and characters but I loved it as much as I love the movie.
Book 37/100 of the year.
My two book order from Thrift Books. I am a bit disappointed in how dirty they are.
Surprise #bookmail from Kensington Publishing.
What a surprise today to come home to this amazing package. Thank you @kensingtonbooks for this so soft blanket, coasters and book!
Any guesses what I will be doing tonight! 😍
This shirt made me laugh and I think that I need it!
I forgot to post my February Kindle case cover. I think that this one is one of my favorites as I am a totally pink girl!
This is a beautifully illustrated inspirational book. I checked this one in with the new books and it immediately came home with me.
Book 36/100 of the year.

I loved Razorblade Tears so I knew that I was in for a treat with this book. S.A. Cosby is the king of Southern Noir. His characters will get under your skin, you will feel all their emotions and you won‘t want to put this book down!
Book 35 of the year.

Books 29-34 of the year read.
I was a bit disappointed in this book. I really enjoyed the first book while looking forward to reading this one. I would have given up on it but I did the audiobook and Will Wheaton was amazing.
Book 28/100 of the year.
This is the first in this rom com series that I was a bit disappointed in. An earthquake and a romp in bed. No real plot nor character development.
Book 27/100 of the year.
February hopeful reads. There will be several other books plus some audiobooks. I am hoping to read all these but with my work at the library, my part time job, school and adding in exercising, time will tell me at the end of February if I am successful.
These books were on my radar to read especially “A Tempest of Tea”. I was pleasantly surprised when Macmillan Publishing sent me a copy of these audiobooks.
Tomorrow, I will start listening to “A Tempest of Tea” by Hafsah Faisal. Thank you to @macmillan.audio for these #gifted audiobooks!
January reading report: 26 books read. Most of these were novellas which were fun reads.
When I saw this sticker, I knew that I needed it for my owala water bottle!
So fun tonight attending the @hallmarkchannel book club discussion of Pride and Prejudice with @hallmarkjennyblog !
The discussions were fantastic and fun. The best part was being able to see the Jane Austen inspired Hallmark movies for #loveuary which start in February!
I‘m happy to be part of the North Carolina Reads sponsored by the @nchumanities . I will be reading the following books that explore issues of racial, social and gender equity along with the history and culture of North Carolina.

May book: The Violin Conspiracy.
June book: Welcome to the Circus of Baseball.
I‘m so excited to be a part of the @emilyrathauthor cheer squad for “Pucking Around” which hits the shelves on January 23, 2024!
I am looking forward to reading it as a hockey fan!
It‘s #nationalstickerday . I use my #bookish stickers to decorate my clear kindle month case monthly. I also have some #bookish stickers on my water bottle (not shown).

Books 10-13 of the year.
13/100 for 2024 @goodreads challenge.
When it‘s your day off this week and next week, you still work.
I am planning out all ten of my 2024 reading challenges for the year. My goal is to not only complete the challenges but to read new authors and genres. Added bonus is that I can use it for readers advisory at my library job.
