Not gonna lie, this one was kinda disappointing. A relatively unremarkable and quite forgettable mystery, where disgraced journalist Leah Stevens moves to Pennsylvania, to start a new life as a teacher at the local high school and soon becomes involved in the disappearance of her roommate Emily. ⭐️⭐️ #netgalley #goodreads #seasonalreadingchallenge

Got this #Goodreads #Giveaway #ARC in the mail today. And as much as I'm enjoying The Last Time I Lied.... I really want to start this one.

Due to #Scarathlon goodness, I met my 2019 reading goal on GR! It was looking like I wouldn't make it, but now anything else I read is gravy. I'm hoping to get closer to 100, but we'll see. I'll likely read more this month, but November is for NaNoWriMo and December is historically a low reading time as I'm super busy.

Thanks #TeamStoker and @TheReadingMermaid !! 🎉

NomiReads I‘ve never been able to find bubble baths relaxing- not sure why! I like to read on the couch or in bed mostly, but today I spent a good chunk of time reading on the front porch with a blanket and slippers + my dog. It was 11 degrees but sunny, and very cozy! 1w
Alora @NomiReads Ouhh that sounds awesome! I also love reading outside! The bath I just struggle to keep my book from getting wet 😂 However I do enjoy it :) 1w

Overall, if you‘re looking for a YA read for spooky season, then check out this book. There‘s witchcraft, zombie girls, and a creepy old abandoned house. What more could you want?

I am thankful for this long weekend to catch up on some readings! I am currently reading The One by John Marrs and I am loving it! It has kept me up late into the night! I love how each chapter is a different character. It keeps you waiting in suspense for that character again. #TheOne #JohnMarrs

Growing up, I was a huge fan of Anne of Green Gables. I read the book and used to watch the animated TV show on PBS. I wanted to live in Avonlea with Anne. So naturally I was excited to read this book.

I was not disappointed. The book felt in the spirit very much like Anne of Green Gables. I can tell that the author did her research.
