My god I want to high five Kay Scarpetta in the face! I think I actually hate her 🙃 She is the most annoying character I have ever come across in a book and I really don't know if I can carry on with this series. The obsession everyone has with her is just too much for me. Might try book 17 as it's a planned read for October but if it's bad I am bailing on the series 🤔

I ❤ this!
I love reading to the children in school and they enjoy my silly voices.
You're never to old to read to them and they're never too old to be read to. An 11 year old ask me to read to her yesterday because nobody ever does and she loved it. Sad that some parents make their children grow up too quickly, you're still little at 11.

Texreader Yes! My husband—who‘s the best reader around (I‘ve secretly wished he‘d start a new career recording audiobooks)—kept reading to my son probably to 10 or 11 even though my son was rapidly becoming a voracious reader. To read to a child is one of the best things ever!!! You rock!!! 1mo
