Team #BFC21 Happy St. Patrick‘s Day! 🍀

Mid-month is a good time to evaluate. You do not have to post anything but take time to check your goals. Remember, life happens, so adapt as needed!

Despite the rainy weather, I‘m getting in my walks most days and doing well with fit camp. I definitely feel stronger and have more stamina, so I‘m happy with my progress.

Small changes result in big differences! 💪🏻🏃🏼‍♀️🤸🏼‍♂️🧘🏼

jb72 Everything got derailed for me this month. They found something on my mammogram so I have to have some minor surgery next week. But I‘ll get back on track in April. 3y

rockpools My bizarre achievement this week is to start a conversation with a personal trainer - paying money + in-person accountability might help & I‘m not up for going back to classes yet. We‘re trying to find a time that works 🤞 3y

Allylu Thanks for the reminder! I have read 12 books so far (goal was 8) and I have walked every day - my husband has been walking with me. The water intake isn‘t going as well and I‘m not losing any weight, so there‘s that. But I will keep trying! ☘️☘️☘️ 3y

wanderinglynn @Allylu awesome! 🙌🏻 And remember that muscle weighs more than fat, so you maybe be losing fat but gaining muscle. Many times, I‘ve found the number on the scale has gone up (which is why I don‘t like them), but my clothing fit better and overall health improved. My advice is don‘t rely too much on the scale. 😉 3y

RainyDayReading I‘ve gotten in more walks than I anticipated. Been drowning in homework with finals next week so I‘ve been doing little bits that I can. Though I think I need to go to a chiropractor or something, my lower back hurts so much I can‘t stand up straight or bend over. Don‘t think that‘s entirely a good thing 😅 Once my finals are over hopefully I can do more exercising and such. 3y

I‘m just kind of grinning and bearing it at the moment because my Dr‘s office is such a mess right now (takes at least an hour to get through to anyone and they never send the prescriptions I need without several phone calls asking for them etc.)I don‘t have the time to engage with all that just yet 😪 3y

wordslinger42 This month brought an unexpected health issue, so aside from a lot of reading, I haven't been able to do my goals! I'm letting them go this month and will hopefully be able to get back to it in April 3y
wanderinglynn @Roary47 life happens. Work sometimes takes over ones life. Adapt your goals as your schedule allows. 💚 maybe aim for 10 min sessions—just something to get you up and away from work for a few minutes to help alleviate stress. 3y

TheAromaofBooks I didn't even set goals for March!! But I am jumping back on the bandwagon for April. 3y
maich I was walking a little but not as many as previous month. Spring is here and blossing everywhere and I have alergic. One day everything is good the pills her, the next day I feel bad crying, sniffle...I need to change pills 🤧 3y

eanderson Well, I‘m doing ok. My eating is the only thing hanging on. I couldn‘t add mileage to my weekly run total because I found out that my body was struggling to recover. Have yet to read a BOTM and I‘m not sure if I will get to it. Luckily there is still 15 days left so I still have a chance! 😀 3y

TheDaysGoBy I‘ve been working out most days during my lunch hour which is good. But that used to be when I got the majority of my reading done so my reading has suffered a bit as I try to find a new place for it 3y
marleed I‘m doing okay. I‘m going to have to concentrate to meet my 21 day step goal - good thing there are 31 days this month. And I‘m reading a chunkster and try to give it the attention it deserves - I‘m so bad at chunksters. 3y

bthegood glad you have been able to get your walking in - I finished Harry Potter Order of the Phoenix (book goal) and I have been doing core workouts and steps each day - I believe I will hit 21 (if not more) days on that - thanks for the motivation 🙂 3y

PerksOfBeingABookworm Sorry I‘m so late! Work has been super busy now that I‘ve started teaching an accelerated class. I‘m doing great drinking water; I think I‘m ready to add a new fitness goal. I‘m definitely not going to meet my reading goal, but I have a plan for an April goal that would be realistic. This challenge is helping keep me motivated, I appreciate that you host it! 3y

Ok I am not reading this book, but I feel that this is what I am doing with my reading. I can't believe I already hit my reading goal this year, no only that but I notice it a bit later... I guess that the me time in the quarantine help... Let's see how many more books I finish this year...

Getting a late start to stating and getting started on my #readinggoals. This beautiful journal I received in one of my #onceuponabookclub boxes will serve to keep me organized as I work on several challenges this year. Ultimately, I aim to fulfill as many prompts as possible with books I already own. I need some sort of motivation to plow through my #TBR, and my #bookbudget needs to be trimmed. 📚💰 2020 challenges listed in comments.

I originally set my GR Challenge @ 65, but saw quickly that this year was not looking good for my reading life. Packing up & moving the last 10 years of my life back to my home province was a HUGE life event. As things are getting more settled, I have now read more books this year than I figured. That being said, I moved my goal up in hopes of getting closer to my original goal. 🎶📚

Today was quite a day and one of those weeks. Both my husband and I got flat tires in the span of three hours today. Here‘s a pic of sneaking in some reading while tire was being changed. I met my step goal on 5/7 days, did yoga 4 times, no fast food, and meditated daily. I was working on sleep and had three good nights with one over seven hours. #bfcr3 @Mitch @wanderinglynn Ended the week with a book club pool party which was great.

According to Apple, I didn‘t meet my step goal this week - but I spent so much time running to catch waves with the boogie board today that I say I made it pretty darn close. 🌊 Finishing my last day of my yoga challenge in a few minutes and I also finished 4 books. I started a new eating program thru work so that goal shifted again, but still a good week for #bookfitnesschallenge #BFCR2

Our library‘s summer experience (aka summer reading program) started last Friday, with the official kickoff celebration tomorrow morning.

Er, my kid is at 93% and I‘m at 85% (though the app keeps telling me I‘ve completed the adult program). When the kiddo and I both reached the half-way point the library didn‘t even have the kid prize ready. Maybe she‘ll get it tomorrow! 😂😂😂
