While it‘s a silent “e”...oh, never mind. 😂👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 #LitsyHumor
My goals for #BFCr3 🙌🏻
So far, so good, but today was definitely one of my 2 cheat days on the eating. Whoopsie.
This is my kind of “beast mode” 🤣!
Goals for the next round of #BFC :
💚 Read 12 books
💜 Walk 50K steps per week on average
💙 Follow a low FODMAP plan
❤️ Encourage my team
My August goals are set 😁
I set aside a few books that I had planned on reading this month in an effort to clean out my net galley folder on my Kindle! I really need to catch up there lol 😅 So, 4 more books for #14Books14Weeks, As the Light Fades to review for a launch team, Evie Drake Starts Over from my actual TBR stack, and hoping to get through at least three if not more net galley books forvreview on my Kindle. Fingers crossed 😁
Hey All ! This is Meaw checking in for week 5 of #BFC2 this week I have hit all my goals. But this week I also added a challenge of sticking to a diet instead of running to the fast food or snacks or chocolates that I have been relying on when I‘ve felt very depressed. I had a doc appt this week and since moving back from CA I‘ve gained a lot more then I ever have in that amount of time. Cont in comments
Signed up for round 3 of the #bookfitnesschallenge @wanderinglynn - goals have slightly changed!
😸 12 books in the 6 weeks (because I've done well this round)
😸 3 walks instead of 2!
😸 More fruit & veg in my diet remains the same.
😸 I've been very bad & neglected my daily injections - I've started doing them again & know I'm feeling better as I can see results on my glucometer - I'll track this out of 28!
Went on a hike today so I thought I would post a selfie! To show how motivated I am for #BFC round two!!
I think I changed my goals from what I wrote on my sign up. But these are what I have planned.
3 days of yoga per week
3 30 min walk per week
1 hike per week
10 books finished by the end!
Good luck everyone ! Let‘s have fun! #teamfitlit
Trying out #BFC round 2! It starts this Sunday.
Goals currently are:
-56k steps per week (8000 steps per day average)
-140 active minutes per week (20 min daily average)
-Under calorie count on Fitbit 5/7 days per week
-12 books (2 books per week - it is likely I may go over this goal if I get on a reading streak)
Steps will be hardest. My job and thus sitting time varies day by day, + I live in an apartment. Active minutes will also be tricky.
Excited to get started with #bfcr2
2 days/week of yoga
3-4 days/week walking
30 day Darbee- Foundation (website to ease into bodyweight training)
I didn't get to post this because of my vacation.
What are some of your 2019 reading goals and resolutions?
Working on setting my reading goals for the year. This year I decided not to focus on a number goal but instead a "format" goal. I have so many unread books that I own I figured this was a great way to attempt to tackle this. Each month I will read
1 audio book
1 wrapped/surprise book from my TBR shelf
1 book received in a subscription box
Fingers crossed I can stick to this & it drastically reduces my TBR.
📘 Read 75 books
📘 Read at least 1 book a month from my own shelves.
📘 FInish series I have started. I am hosting the #SeriesRead challenge. Please join me for this low pressure challenge. Read a little or read a lot it doesn't matter. Just read a book in a series and tag me and use #SeriesRead. I will be doing a quarterly #giveaway to help with motivation. ❤📘
I‘ve been thinking about my plan for my reading in 2019 and I decided to be very ambitious... this is what I‘ve come up with!
Reading is the most important thing for keeping my mental health in check, and my ambition of reading 365 books in 2018 is going okay, and having good impact on my brain. Keeping that up!
The other targets are steep, particularly translated books. I might not meet them but I want to challenge myself a lot. Bring it on!
Wow! Guess I underestimated my reading time. The best part is that I really enjoyed all of my reads.
I changed my reading goal in Goodreads this morning. I lowered it to 35 - the same as last year. I was behind and I decided that instead of choosing shorter books and being anxious about one more thing, I‘d just change my goal. 🤷🏻♀️
My reading goals for 2018. The biggest one is to read my own damn books. I ended up buying over 100 books last year & I need to slow down on that. So the theme this year is to enjoy exploring my own bookshelves. I can even complete the reading challenges without buying any more books 😳
After seeing all your great many challenges i went through #litsyreadingchallenge2018 #idratherbereading @Gdsjenny 's challenge and the #readingwomenchallenge to combine them into #mypersonalreadinggoals2018
Oh how i love #bulletjournal ing!
Thanks for the tag @Pruzy #2018goals @Wbabdullah
1 To spend more time reading than I do making heart-eyes, coveting books, reading about books, & adding books to cart 😳
2 Independent People, Halldor Laxness
3 Nothing, really, except more challenges. I'll see how they work for me this year.
4. Challenges: litsyclassics, passportlitsy, readaroundtheworld. Swaps: Signed up for the #2018nonfictionbookexchange today 🤗
5. ☕🍵🍷🍺 👌
Seeing as I had to change my challenge 3 times last year because I kept reaching the goal, I think this is a pretty fair goal for 2018 😄📚
Reading Envy Podcast 107: Reading Goals for 2018. I love setting new reading goals and I'm excited about this year. What goals do you have for your reading this year? http://tinyurl.com/ReadingEnvy107 @lindy @shawnmooney @CaseyTheCanadianLesbrarian
I doubled my reading goal for this year. When I was in college I was in a slump. From June to December I was able to finish - and exceed- my goal of 20 books. Now with my audiobooks on my commute and physical books on the weekends (and before bed) I can definitely make this goal happen! ❤️ happy reading, friends!
#goals #readingislife #40in2018 #neverendingtbr
Last year, I had a goal of 50 and surpassed it so I decided to see if I could hit 70! May back it down to 65 but I feel like this is a good challenge. Let the fun begin!
So my other 2018 goal is to read my own print and ebooks instead of going to the library or buying new books. When I was organizing my books the last few days I was shocked how many books I actually have on my TBR that I actually own.
So oddly enough my goal this year is to read less books and spend more time socializing. I was an awful hermit this year besides working. Going back to a job outside my business after seven years made me want to do nothing but read when I got home. So I am determined to spend more time with friends and family in 2018. Just not today 🤣 #readingallday
This was my first full year on goodreads I set a manageable goal for myself & surpast it. So next year I can bump it up even more especially since I added in 3 audiobooks for the first time this past two months. Thanks to viewing your litsy post I discovered how audiobooks can help me fit in more books.👍😁 #myyearinbooks 📚🎆
