Starting a new buddy read with @Tanisha_A 🥰
I heard so much about this one- so happy I‘m finally getting to it!

Long trainrides scream for new books ☺️ this is my first time reading Highsmith, I hope I will enjoy it☺️
My birthday treat arrived today 🥰 I need to finish up my current read and will start it next, I‘m really looking forward to this!
A quick book while I‘m a bit sick- I‘m halfway through and it‘s very gripping so far ☺️
Spa weekend with a new book ahead! I have randomly picked the book because of the cover and the blurp on the back, so I don‘t yet know what to expect- I hope it will be good😊
Halfwayr through with this one and so far it‘s very intriguing- the eerie wasteland makes me think of Vandermeer‘s Annhilation/ Southern Reach novels which I also enjoyed lots!
Next up! Looking foward! These penguin classics copys are so nice; the annotations are so helpful!
Christmaspoems for a cozy second advent sunday 🥰
I have some days off for christmas and am sooo much looking forward to undisturbed reading time under the Christmas tree - soooon!🥰
New in & next up! It sounded very intriguing- hopefully it is as good as I am expecting 🥰
Cozy sunday❤️ the book is a nice read, very quick- i just started it but will probably finish it today! It‘s a bit weird with a touch of magical realism which I love🥰
Note: going bookshopping the day after your paycheck arrives is more expensive than during other times of the month. But I‘m excited for my new books! 💜💜
I‘m spending Friday Night with the audio version of this book and editing my vacation photos in the company of my cats💜 I‘m only just starting the book, but I love this editions of penguin classics - they have really good introductions and foot notes- super informative!
Very cute book, which I enjoyed a lot! If you love cats, this one is for you! It‘s sweet, reassuring, a bit weird and just lovely! 5/5 ⭐️
It also helped me finish my goodreads goal early! 💜
I‘m really trying to finish this but Yoshi demands my attention 😂 not sure why I‘m taking forever to read this book, I do enjoy the story actually! I will try to finish it up soon- the last months I did have a bit of a reading slump but I think I made it out of it!
Finished this one last night! I loved the idea and the world building but the main character was just so annoying, also the ending felt rushed, so only 3/5⭐️
Endless airport waiting time + book store = new book. No surprise here😂 wanted to bring something home from this memorable trip to Bali and Lombok and this one caught my eye!
The book was very sweet and had a lovely ending! 4/5 ⭐️- definitely recommend if you want to read a cute animal story! Made me giggle and feel for clumsy friend monkey💕
Today was our last night at our Hotel in Lombok and it might have been the nicest hotel we‘ve ever been to- the staff was unbelievably kind- look at the towel animale parade they made to say goodbye! Also fitting to today‘s book!
Halfway through this one- so far it‘s a very cute story of a very helpful and clumsy monkey 💙
Tomorrow morning we will leave paradise and go back home :( I hope to finish this book today and maybe one more on our long journey back home!
Same book- new reading place- Lombok‘s beach is also fantastic 💕 I‘ll have around 4-5 reading days ahead here at the beach- pure bliss💚
The book so far is intriguing, I‘m curious to see how the story will infold!
Yesterday we spent the day exploring Bali (temples, rice terraces, volcano) - today we are spending our last day in paradise at the poolside reading! I‘m starting this one today :)
Tomorrow we are leaving for our final week in Lombok- which will be amazing but I will miss this forest view!
I‘ve had worse reading views before 🤩
Haven‘t had much reading time lately but yesterday I got to say „I do“ to my best friend🩷 Tuesday we are leaving for our honeymoon and I‘m looking foward to catching up on my reading!🥰
This book surprised me! It started off a bit mundane but then took an eerie and thrilling turn! The language is elaborate and the short story really gripped me🫶🏽 5/5🌟 and possibly one of my favorite books this year!
I need your opinion! What would you do: I have a honeymoon ahead in august. We‘ll have a long distance journey there (~20h) and back (~28h) plus two shorter journeys (~4h) between locations. First week will be lots of sightseeing, second week will be spent mainly at the beach (lots of reading time). Would you take many short(er) books to get a dent in your TBR (and how many??) or one chunkster (I‘m thinking Ulysses) plus maybe two lighter reads?
I loved this one! Very weird and intriguing! 5/5🌟
Starting this one today! Havn‘t heard of it before but it sounded very interesting - so I had to buy it🤗
I‘m in a bit of a reading slump, but that (unfortunately for my TBR) doesn‘t stop me from buying new stuff😅 I wanted to get the new Sorokin for so long already, hopefully I will soon get to it😂
Very weird short stories- I loved them! Nothing much happens in them, we just get a glimpse of very strange lives! Very intriguing and a quick read!
5/5🌟
I‘m sick, but luckily my cats keep me company and I think I‘m slowly again well enough to at least read a bit! My current reads are all quite heavy books (literally) so I‘m slipping this short one inbetween 😁
I also started this one today! I‘m only a few pages in and it‘s really good already! I‘m very much invested in the story and hope I‘ll find time to read or listen on tomorrow 🙈 It‘s about nurse Meret and her life in a clinic. There is a new intervention that is supposed to help people with their fears or angers but can also be very painful. Meret cares for the patients and begins to wonder if it‘s all worth it. Gripping!
Reading this while the cats sleep and the boyfriend plays Fifa - I saw it is coming out in English this November! I can highly recommend it already- I‘m a hundred pages in and it‘s gripping and weird and fantastic 💖
Friday nights are best spent reading 🥰 starting this Manga tonight- I loved the first one, and I hope the second one will bring some light to the story- the first one was pretty cryptic😅
What a grest book! It was heartbreaking and made me so so thankful for being able to grow up and live in a safe country with basic human (female) rights 🙏🏼 the story follows two woman through their hardships, forced marriages, brutality, loss of rights and wars. 5/5⭐️
Loved the writing, didn‘t care for the story🙈 2/5⭐️
i‘m halfway through the book but I‘m not a fan😅 It feels a bit pointless so far😶
New Murakami- yay! How pretty is this cover🥰 can‘t wait to dive into it!
Dear #litsylove members- sorry for taking forever to write back, I will try to catch up over the next couple days😅😅😅
Christmas days are for reading🩷 my cats love to keep me company too🥰
Starting this pretty Manga today- got it from my brother for Christmas 🎄🥰
Merry Christmas fellow Littens🎄🥰🩷 book pictured is a grift from my brother 🥰
It‘s the first of December already😱 insane how this year is almost over. According to my list of unread physical books I‘ve read… 4 books this year 😂😂 maybe next year I‘ll be better at not adding to the pile in the same pace I‘m reading- but before my bookbuying ban I HAD to get this one- look at the pretty cover😍 I hope the story is as lovely!
Tell me your cats are clingy without telling me your cats are clingy😅 I‘m reading a book on project management- luckily my cats are helping to keep it open 😂 (the book itself is great too, I‘m not a project manager but I already had great takeaways for managing my own work and the projects we have there).
Reading this really puts you in a state of mild vertigo- forever long sentences with no real story, it feels like a gathering of random thoughts. Not yet sure how I feel about it, but I like it enough to finish it at least😅
