My favourite pics from our trip to the North-West of Germany. That church tower on the top left is the most tilted tower at 5°, even more than the one in Pisa, Italy.
Faith is a great character, I really liked her. Read through this one really fast. ☺️
This really is a pop song of a book! Had soo much fun reading this!
Some more postcards for my #LitsyLove friends @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @catiewithac @SusanLee @UwannaPublishme @BookNAround @starlight97
A good read. I didn't like parts of it, but overall really good.
Some #LitsyLove postcards from the very North-West of Germany are on their way to @Moonprismpower @Cupcake12 @Mitch and @Sleepswithbooks
Started this book yesterday. A European wide blackout caused by black hat hackers.
The whole scenario sounds familiar with last winters warnings about blackouts due to gas shortages. And also the ransomware catastrophe in a German town administration in 2021.
I hope I can still sleep tonight! 😅
I'm reading this children's classic with my daughter. She loves it and is farther along than I am ☺️😁
The bunnies are keeping me company for my reread of the second book. I finished the second season of the HBO TV series. And I think it's a really good adaptation so far!
@TheSpineView
1) Yes, several.
2) It started off alphabetically for the ones that I've already read. And however they came for the tbr. But now they're all squeezed into every bit of space on the bookshelf 🙈
Was watching the TV series His Dark Materials and now I'm also rereading the books. I'm on season 2 and I really like this adaptation.
Second book int the series. This time they have to thwart a conspiracy that threatens to blow up London.
I liked the character relationships which aren't easy at all. A good read for everyone with a love for Edwardian Fantasy settings.
Joghurt strawberry frappe and a good book! My reward for finally finding some new jeans that fit!
Glad that I mostly read ebook. I couldn't hold a big chunkster at the moment.
It's just a cut, no stitches, so don't worry. Happened while I wanted to drill a hole at the top of the new rain barrel
Lovely presents from my family. The tote bag is awesome, I love giraffes! And hubby bought the book I wanted. I already did some of the drawing exercises. Fun!
Not so sure about the snail soap though?! 😅
It was too much...to many details and definitely too much wine tasting! And I'm still not sure what the plot is. Don't get me started on the main character, she got soo annoyingly dependent on the live interest, who was super bossy and a stalker. How is that supposed to be sexy?! Long story short, DNF
Last read this as a child. And I didn't remember much of it except for the ending. It's written very differently to modern children's stories, more like a myth retelling. Anyway it's a quick read and a great adventure.
Starting the next one in the series. And made myself a cappuccino as a treat
I loved this book! There's always something happening, and the characters are flawed but learn from their experiences.
3D printed the master sword. (Not my design)
Went to see some of the decorated wells today. It's a tradition in northern Bavaria to decorate the wells with Easter eggs every year
This was sooo much better than I anticipated! Really a powerfully feminist book!
Started this one yesterday and am already hooked. Is it fate that I read one feminist fantasy book right after another?
I liked the rivalry and mentorship between Alpi and Sercella.
The font size of book three (on the right) is just absurd! It's so small! And that makes it tbh really hard to read and hard not to loose your place. The line spacing is smaller too. Really annoying!!
I've been following Andongs YouTube channel for ages now. So of course I bought his book! I'm excited to try the recipes!
Got the German version of this book today! I bought the English version via kindle deals and have already tried lots of recipes. I really like this book so I bought the dead tree edition, makes it easier I think to cook from it.
A really good read! I was pleasantly surprised as the friend who gave the book to me didn't like it much. The best thing in my opinion was the MC's choice of partner and why. Oh and lovely horses too! Though the author forgot some aspects of herd life, like the lead mare.
I'm still testing positive after a week. I'm so annoyed!
Rereading the Tiffany Aching books is helping. And the jumper pattern name suits the snow outside and the book title. It's called: Blizzard ❄️
Back to a feel good book with A Hat full of Sky. I love the Tiffany Aching series.
I feel way better today, still tested positive today. At least I have time for reading and knitting during my self isolation. The colour work jumper is coming along nicely.
That's me set for tea! self made cake in a mug with vanilla ice cream! Hubby is really taking care of me while I'm self isolating in the bedroom. I have COVID since yesterday.
This was a very quick read. Could hardly put it down. It was really creepy in places, I thought I might not like it but I do like it so much!
I'm having trouble getting into this book. It's mislabeled in my opinion, I don't really see a Pride&Prejudice connection here. The dragon world is well thought out and the troubles of the characters very real. But I have trouble connecting to the world and the characters.
Hubby said: "why don't we get some chicken?" My quick research with tagged books shows, yes that's a possibility. But I want to wait til after the bunnies and repurpose their shed. Seeing as with the bird flu, the chicken would have to stay inside for a while. I'd like for them to have a bit of room.
Loved it! A fairy tale about a girl embarking on a journey to save her loved one. With a very interesting world!
The end of Mistborn era 2. And what a finale that was! This opens up a lot of new possibilities for the next Mistborn books, but also the wider Cosmere too. Looking forward to tomorrow when the year of the Sanderson begins!
@Chrissyreadit it's really hard to make a photo of the window chalk painting. And part of it got chopped off because of the square litsy format.
I made it as an advent calendar for the kids and added a little painting every day
Merry Christmas everyone!
We had a good Christmas eve, with lots of presents. In Germany we open our presents Christmas eve. 🎁
And during the night the young one got a bad fever. He's taking a nap right now, so a bit of a breather for me. Unfortunately not able to see my family as many others this year. Lots of love to everyone 💞
Finally finished this audiobook! I really liked it. Though I have to admit I didn't enjoy the last couple of chapters as much. There was just too much speculation and assumptions.
Still not 100% healthy. But I'm way better than a couple of days ago. I can even listen to an audiobook and do some easy crochet!
#audiocrafting
Unfortunately I caught another cold and I'm just too tired to read. But I think it's getting better. Hopefully I can read the tagged book tomorrow. I feel like everyone is already gushing about it and I feel left out.
Waldorf and Statler are snuggling, it's really cold outside.

I didn't like. DNF. In my opinion it's just badly written. I stopped at page 54 when the MC was asked if she knew the way and given the option of a map, because of course there's a map maker in this tiny village. Last straw of stupid things in this book.
