Also I got a letter returned to me that I sent to you @Zuhkeeyah so I‘ll try again. Has your address changed?
@Christyco125 your drawing is too cute! My brother has. Frenchie named Gertie and franchies are adorable. Letter in the post to you!
I think I‘m both tired of teen reads and just tired of reading. I bought the book for the cover. The cover was better. Too much teen drama not enough plot or momentum in my opinion. Oh well.
You know how a bodice ripper romance dives into the nitty-gritty with flowery synonyms for body parts? Yeah this ain‘t it. There‘s only so many times I can read cock before I just start to laugh out loud. I am no longer the teen obsessed with trashy romance. I tried. 🤣😂 also this cover dude looks like a teen Jamie Kennedy 🥴🤮
I came across an article comparing period cramps to a heart attack but a doctor said that a heart attack usually doesn‘t feel painful. LABOR PAINS or the pain of cutting off your finger works better. This is what we deal with every month, we still go to work. And there‘s not much research into ending this pain. And now the Supreme Court…⬇️

I was pleasantly surprised and happy to read this! Despite TW‘s for drug use and some explicit scenes (but not too graphic) I found this to be highly entertaining. I enjoyed the nod to Sailor Moon. I love the friendship between Rockstar and Softboy, reminds me of The Odd Couple.

I sent the book today @phantomx @suvata
I meant to take a pic but forgot so here is a mini rubber chicken I got on Easter. Also @LibrarianRyan I sent you a small package. #lmpbc14 Group G
I wanted to like this book. But it is so dark and not my cup of tea at this time. I give it three stars for the beautiful imagery. And i would suggest it if you like a dark retelling of Snow White.
Beautiful pictures and a funny story. I love this graphic novel.
Thank you @BethM for this interesting Dark magic graphic novel read. While I enjoyed the plot the characters weren‘t really my style? But anyone who enjoys dark noir will like this I think. Kind of read to me like Supernatural. My favorite character is Toby, …and Molly. #lmpbc group g. I will be sending it on to you @phantomx on Monday!
@suvata
Graphic novel YA about Mona‘s struggle with depression and anxiety. I feel that everyday. Mona sinks under her own depression & it hurts her emotionally, socially and physically. I can understand her struggles. But Mona finds a way to work with her depression and to live despite it.
This book is a bittersweet story of a friend group who‘s epic loss changes their lives. For me it is a cry read. Loved it.
Finally adding my notes to my #lmpbc read! While eating twizzlers. What is your favorite nostalgic candy from childhood? @phantomx @LibrarianRyan @BethM
@suvata
@magyklyXdelish tagging you cuz I miss you! Have a good Sunday ❤️
I wanted to like this book. It had all the elements I love, time travel aliens and a love triangle of sorts. But alas the plot moved too slow and the villain‘s weak reasoning was subpar. Oh well.
My new favorite bookmark.
Have fun stormin‘ the castle!
@LibrarianRyan @phantomx @BethM
The top 4 are fiction, not all are complete series but the first volume. The bottom 3 are nonfiction memoir.
I‘ll try to tag the books if they exist in litsy. #lmpbc #groupg
Love to all my #LitsyLove peeps!
I cannot tag you all but I‘m thinking of you all!

For Black History Month I am reading books with Black authors or protagonists. This Ya paranormal was unfortunately not great. I had high hopes but the lack of character development and the general icky feeling I got from the villain made it a no for me.

I didn‘t hit my step goal but increased my steps significantly so I plan to keep it up. I think I may add that on days I cannot make the step count I add some weightlifting, push-ups or sit-ups.
I passed my 5 book goal for the month woohoo! Maybe I‘ll go add some steps now by going to the bookstore. 🤣🤣🤣
The tagged book was my final read. It was dark. I enjoyed it.
When the only puzzles you have patience for is 100 mini puzzles 🤣🤣🤣
Had a wicked big snowstorm on Cape Cod. Snowed in all day yesterday. Out of power from 8-2. My mom, niece and sister are here because they‘re still out of power. But here‘s a picture of the sky and pretty trees after the storm.
This was a quick graphic novel read. Arab Muslim teen Huda is constantly questioning who she is while trying to make friends in a new school. Although the plot is good I felt like Huda doesn‘t move the plot, its just thrown at her. I suppose she finds part of herself but her growth is limited. But I would still recommend it because hey, it takes a long time to grow.
Three stars for me. I finished the book and I understood the desperate need to remove loneliness and the changing friendships we have with those we have known longest, felt closest to. The horror wasn‘t scary which is what you want in a horror novel. This was more about the horror of friendship. I wouldn‘t recommend it but I did feel it resonate with my own feelings about friendship, isolation and desperation.
I‘m a little mermaid fan. And a ya time travel book fan. And other time travel books. Maxwell is an easy read. Could use more plot development. Every character just instantly falls in love but hey it is fantasy! Happy Tuesday everyone. #litsylove
Okay I bought these hilarious to me possibly offensive to others postcards. So Litsy Love penpals…let me know if you are okay with me sending a postcard from my sick humor stash. Because I don‘t want to offend? Otherwise I guess I‘ll just send them all to my@mom and bestie 🤣😁😇😅 #litsylove
I wanted to like this graphic memoir. Unfortunately Bechdel is so emotionally disconnected that I couldn‘t connect with the story. I understood her sadness, her wanting to have some link to her father. But it didn‘t move me.
2 stars. I finished the book because I hoped it would resolve itself. It did not. I was sadly disappointed. 😕
I have this book 3-4 stars. I enjoyed this sequel in the Adam Binder series but I was a bit dissatisfied with the slow going plot. And I felt the character development did grow but not by much. Overall I will continue the series but I do hope the next book has more.
Four stars! I loved the plot and characters. A sense of finding your family again through the struggles of one‘s own mind and misfortunes. It was beautiful. The ending was a bit vague and left me a little sad but this book has a place on my keep forever shelf. Thank you Sam @magyklyXdelish for gifting me this look. Love.
❤️❤️❤️
I lost my interest too many times. It was so bogged down with boring filler I am lucky I finished the book. I wanted to know what happened. But even the ending was a disappointment, no explanation of events, no real investigation and then dopey Dare just shrugs and says that‘s all folks! Oh well. On to better reads.
The snow has turned to slush.
Becca and Roy‘s story is so plausible. There are people prepping for end of world scenarios in hardcore ways that are negatively impacting their children. I ran alongside these two teens as they struggled to escape the paranoia and abuse planning and fighting and surviving any way they could. It was a page turner.
Tagged my favorite read of 2021. I‘m really proud I hit this number. I set my 2022 reading goal to 60 this year which is 5 books a month, reasonable I think!

Finished my first book of 2022! I really enjoy Ernshaw‘s beautiful writing style. She sets a mood so well. I uncovered the plot twist early on but this book wasn‘t really about the twist. It was about the people and how life changed them. I enjoyed this book very much.
Happy 2022 #LitsyLove !!
❤️🥂🎇🎆🎉🍾🍾🥳
Dearest Sam @magyklyXdelish !
My friend how kind you are to me. I had a long day at work and it was lovely to have packages to open. Thank you for your gifts. Hugs and love my sweet friend! I hope you are well. I‘m writing a letter to send to you this weekend.
