I‘ve gone down the Fleetwood Mac rabbit hole this year after hearing Gold Dust Woman on Daisy Jones & The Six (listened to it on repeat for a month straight). This song sung by Lindsey Buckingham is my current obsession. It starts at 42:35 https://youtu.be/9suHkG7QfYw?si=bfkBq2zoK1kvYPry

so i‘ll go insane
like i always do — yeah,
he‘s a lot like you.

(I‘m missing a syllable & changed she to he since it really resonates with me)

TheBookHippie I loathed the book and made it 10 min in the series. However I‘ve loved Stevie and Fleetwood Mac from day one. I‘m never not listening to it. 💙 4w

JenlovesJT47 @TheBookHippie I loved the book and the show, total guilty pleasure but I understand it‘s not for everyone. But FM is ❤️‍🔥♥️ 4w
TheBookHippie @JenlovesJT47 I felt like she stole the idea. Left a bad taste 🤣😵‍💫😅🤷🏻‍♀️😝🫣 4w
lil1inblue Love, love, love Stevie and Fleetwood Mac! 😍🤩😍 4w
dabbe Talk about star-crossed lovers; I always wished Buckingham and Stevie could have made it because their relationship sizzled! In all the good AND bad ways, I guess. I so glad I got to see her and Billy Joel together back in December 2023, especially with Joel and his brain condition. #fmforever! 🩶🤍🖤 4w

As the week of comps draws to a close I can only say how thankful I am. My friends & family (including Litsy fam) all came together to support me while I took these exams. The culmination of a year‘s worth of work, compiling lists & reading them, feels unreal ♥️

That said, this book by Roy Porter is heartbreaking & comprehensive. Anyone planning to study psychology should give it a read. Also anyone struggling with madness, like PhD students! 😆

This was my #DoubleSpin for this month, and WOW was it intense! It was incredibly disturbing and most of the time I didn't want to put it down as the main character became more and more unhinged. As with most of the books Jenny Lawson has picked for her Fantastic Strangelings book club, I was left wondering what I had just read, but in a good way.

This was pretty slow-moving, but it was better than I expected. I didn‘t like the first book I read by this author (can‘t currently recall the title), but I decided to give this a try, anyway. Wow, those twins… something a little (a lot) wrong in their heads. Did not like the twins at all. In fact, none of the characters were particularly likable (oh, Ama‘s likable, but that‘s about it; felt really bad for her, actually). But the story was ok.
