6th and last book read during #SuperSeptember Readathon. I only read 147 pages within this time frame. Mixed feeling here. There were parts I really liked, like the integration of classic Greek mythology to describe characters and actions. There is something in the tone of this author writing style that I really like. Also, the mystery was good, interesting. But who did it and why, well, that was a little bit disappointed. 3.5/3.75⭐️⬇️

Gissy The left copy was a gift from a friend when she visited this summer The Bertrand Bookstore in Portugal😍It opened in 1732. Dice 2010 the bookstore has been in the Guiness World Record. Maybe that is why I liked the book a little more, it has a special meaning for me😉It has a stamp form the store😱🙌I didn‘t want to destroy the copy with my annotations so I used the BOM copy for that😜

5th book read during #SuperSeptember @Andrew65 I struggle a little bit with this one in the first chapters, but it was my fault because I‘m reading it out of order. So I needed to look in Google who was who, but after that, it was a quick and fun reading. I was like watching a movie. Few good characters died😢I want to know what is going to happen next. But why they didn‘t follow the force instinct?🤔3.8⭐️

Gissy #StarWarsBuddyRead @BookwormAHN I need to read the first two books. I will order them I maybe during winter I can read them🤗

I think this qualify for #Space Opera #NoShameReadathon22 or #HardSci-Fi? Let me know please @nessavamusic

BookwormAHN I think that would help if you read the first two but I'm glad you enjoyed it. Also it could be either space opera or hard sci-fi. I believe I used different Star Wars books for each 😺 2y
Gissy @BookwormAHN Thank you for the recommendations🤗 2y
TheAromaofBooks Woohoo!!! 2y
Nessavamusic @Gissy you can count it for either or both! 2y

4th book read during #SuperSeptember Readathon @Andrew65 An unpopular opinion. This dark academia book is hated by most reader but I really enjoyed it. This is a boarding school for elite girls. Maybe is unreal, unbelievable and even absurd the dynamic in this school but I love the integration of Classical Greek mythology to create introspection and make changes in these girls. I read it as almost a dystopian world. 4⭐️It has low rating in GR 3⭐️

Bookworm54 I really liked this one! 2y
LeahBergen I have this waiting on my shelves so I‘m glad to hear that you liked it! 👍 2y

3rd book read during #SuperSeptember Readathon @Andrew65
I liked this one but not loved it. I liked the mystery, how it was developed and some parts of the end. I was not connected in that relationship between Hannah and Will. Sometimes I couldn‘t stand Hannah and her irresponsible decisions during her pregnancy. Maybe who did it was for me an old cliché used in thrillers. But I like this author writing style. I enjoyed the audiobook. 3.7/3.8⭐️

Gissy #LiterallyDeadBookClub I think they haven discussed the book yet in YouTube.

2nd book completed during #SuperSeptember Readathon @Andrew65 This is the 3rd book in this trilogy. First book I hated that main character but the author was amazing in giving us a chance to know her better. Book 2 was fantastic and the conclusion was sad but didn‘t disappoint me. But it was so sad😢I really liked this world and it has many similarities with Bone Witch is some characters magic system and some actions, too similar😳4⭐️

1st book completed (337 pages) during #SuperSeptember Readathon @Andrew65
This is book 3 in this trilogy. I liked the necromancy world and the characters but the whole trilogy is so sad even the end☹️The tone in the 3 books is so gloomy, somber, dark, sad. I enjoyed reading the books with the audiobooks and those covers are beautiful😍3.8 ⭐️ I will say for the whole trilogy.

Finally have the chance to post my results for #SuperSeptember readathon

I met my goal to complete 3 books! Perhaps I will try for 4 next month 😀

Finished:
The Murder Of Mr Whickham
Run Rose Run
Killers of A Certain Age

I rated all 3 books 3.5 stars. None stellar, but all enjoyable.
Reading order was based on when due back at the library. Lol

I also started Other Birds and The Dictionary of Lost Words. Both are wonderful so far!

Andrew65 That‘s brilliant, thanks for playing along 👏👏👏🙌🥳🍾🥂 2y

After adding an extra day, and getting super into comics & graphic novels, I managed to crush my #SuperSeptember goals.

I tried to stick to only 1 or 2 issues of each comic, so I can save some for #Scarathlon! I‘m getting my reading mojo back, and I‘m so excited for October to begin. Thanks again for another brilliant Readathon @Andrew65

Andrew65 Great and thanks for playing along 👏👏👏🙌🥳🍾🥂 2y

1. Yes! Set in Ancient Egypt or Ancient Greece especially.
2. Doherty wrote a few nice Ancient Egyptian mysteries.
