Finished this one last week but I was waiting for the #SundayBuddyRead before I posted this review. What I took away from this was the more Julia learned about her family‘s past and their trials, the more empathetic she became. Also, seeking help for your mental health is the right thing to do. I was so annoyed with her when she was so angry all the time and wouldn‘t listen to anyone. #112 #BookSpinBingo #12 #BFC21 #4 #BOOKED2021 #SuperSeptember

Here is a quick wrap-up for #SuperSeptember. I hit all my goals (which is rare), so I‘m pretty stoked:

✔️Read 500 pages (Read 530 pages)
✔️ Finish current audiobook (Finished 2 audiobooks: Murder at Archly Manor and Reunion In Death)
✔️ Finish current print book (Finished Catalina‘s Riddle)

EadieB Congrats 🎉 on hitting all your goals! Thanks for participating! 8mo

A little late - but I accomplished my goals for #SuperSeptember! I kept up with my buddy reads, read Lilla and The Selfish Giant (which wasn‘t my cup of tea), Murder on the Orient Express, plus a couple more! I DNFed We Are Not From Here, unfortunately; but I‘m really happy with what I finished. Thanks again to @EadieB for hosting!

This is a pick, but it took me to the end as a collective story to say that, the main character Patrick the “guncle” is somewhat off putting in trying to navigate his niece and nephew, but during the coarse of the story Patrick finds himself examining his life on this journey to help the children and ultimately also helps himself. I finished this yesterday so didn‘t make #superseptember readathon

EadieB Congrats 🎉 on your reading 📖 for the readathon. Thanks for participating! 8mo

This was a good conclusion to Scalzi's Hugo-nominated Interdependency series, with some real surprises at the end. #hugoawards #hugo2021

Hannah has been married with Owen almost for 2 years and live with him and Bailey, Owen‘s 16 y/o daughter. One morning she received an envelope from her husband indicating “protect her”. Owen then disappears. At the same time, the corporation where Owen‘s work is under FBI investigation. During Hannah‘s searching for answers she discovered her husband is not who she thought he was. Mystery and suspense. There were parts I enjoyed 3.6⭐️

Book with mixed reviewed but I enjoyed it. Hal Westaway received a letter indicating that she needs to go to Trepassen, she is one of the beneficiaries mentioned in her grandmother‘s will. She knows she is not related to this family but her precarious financial situation and debts threats made her to go as an impostor? Is she related to this family? Will she be safe in that house? A slow pace reading at the beginning but then it has twists. 3.8⭐️

TheAromaofBooks Woohoo!!! 8mo
EadieB I read and enjoyed this one too! 8mo
