Today we are launching the #WinterReadathon which will take place between 1st Dec and twelfth night (5th Jan). This will be hosted by @Andrew65, @DieAReader and @GHABI4ROSES
Hopefully this will help fill a gap this year due to #WinterGames unfortunately not being able to run, and will still allow you to get to the Christmas reads you have saved up and have a strong end to the reading year.
It will be a choose your own goals readthon!!!

Andrew65 It doesn‘t have to be Christmas reads, any books or reading counts. Also watch out for some fun games and activities along the way, more details to follow.

We do hope you will join us for this fun, friendly and informal readthon. Simple to register, just tell us you are joining and post your goals and/or books anytime between now and the end of the month.

Andrew65 @Tove_Reads I‘m up for some, it‘s this time last year (December) we started the Ruth Hunter Series and the Rhona MacLeod Series. Up to reading more of the Rhys Dylan Series and others. Lost impetus on the Kristin Hannah series as some of them have not been very good. 1y

MaGoose Yup. Need to read Hong Kong Dangerous by Tom Fowler and The Drums of War by Mike Ward. I've promised to review these books, so I need to get cracking on them after I finish A Knock on the Door by Roberta K. Fernandez, which I also promised to read and review. 1y

Tove_Reads Setting my goal at 30 books. I‘m soon done with several projects this year, and because it‘s pretty much dark all the time I have more time to read. How about Veronica Black‘s Sister Joan, Stewart Giles‘s Jason Smith, Sally Rigby‘s Canendish and Walker, Kate Gable‘s Kaithlyn Carr, Joy Ellis‘s Nikki Galena, or Charlie Gallager‘s Langthorne? 1y

Tove_Reads I will read Hannah‘s Winter Garden. Haven‘t read it and it‘s one of the newer ones. All the series mentioned above are series I‘m eager to start, and the authors are new to me, so no real expectations, only hope! 1y

Andrew65 @Tove_Reads Read the first book in the Cavendish and Walker series which I really enjoyed. Read a few Joy Ellis books which are usually good. All the other series are new to me. Happy to go with any of those, will be continuing the Rhys Dylan series and will read book 2 before the end of the month. 1y

Andrew65 @Tove_Reads Will add the Langthorne books to my list. If not read them I strongly recommend the J D Kirk DCI Logan Series, now read 3 and one of my favourite series at the moment - set in and around Inverness and the highlands of Scotland. 1y

Andrew65 @Crazeedi Two or three main options. We‘ve just started the DCI Evan Warlow Series by Rhys Dylan. Only read the first book, The Engine House, which was excellent.Also in a different vein just recently started The Turnham Malpas Series by Rebecca Shaw set in a village by the same name. The first book is The New Rector. @tove_Reads also talking about starting the Langthorne Police Series by Charlie Gallagher. (edited) 1y
