1️⃣Enjoyed a delicious chai latte and Bagel & Lox breakfast with my hubby 🥰 2️⃣ Making plans for a coffee shop & reading crawl with my BFF (3 stops: 2 independently owned coffee shops and a wine bar, reading for 45 mins at each location is the plan) 3️⃣ BLUE JAYS ARE STILL IN IT!! Wooo!! 💙⚾️ 4️⃣ Not feeling ragey this week was a joyful perk 😆 5️⃣ Got some Christmas gift shopping done!

TODAY‘S PROMPT: FOG

Couldn't find this one in the database, but whatever. It's a cute and short romance, perfect if you're planning a trip to London. You do get a tiny tour guide within the story, which is nice for all those visiting the city, but was a bit too text based for me. Do people talk like that? Also, for two queer people walking through London they sure talk a lot about male writers, about women though... maybe once? Really? 😒

This was sweet and fun with the potential for great characters and more complex relationships. The ending felt incredibly rushed and ynsatisfying. The Autumn vibes were great. Check out The cozy corner bookstore by Nova Walsh.

Apologies for my recent brief absence, friends. The world, my mind, my heart - it‘s all so much (too much) and is getting the best of me lately. November's author is Adam Silvera. Have you decided what you are going to read?

Not in the Litsy database, but this author asked me to read and review his book, and I actually liked it.

It was an absorbing collection of horror/ sci fi-type stories. It was a fun read for Halloween. Some stories stood out more than others, but the characters were impressively drawn up in each story. A major theme running through a lot of them is grief. Most take place in Maine, so they reminded me of Stephen King with their own unique flare.

Book not in database. Title can be translated as “Being.A.Trans.Woman“. Soft Pick.

Even after all the queerfeminist books I've read, I still learn something new. Ewert helped me seeing some things from another stance and I am grateful for that. But due to her rather dry language, this book is more targeted at people who are used to that language. Surely not a book for beginners to the topic.
