I have July 14-17 and 28-1 of August to take a week away this would be a great opportunity to have this occur 👀👍🏼📚
Time to vote for the August #QueerBC author. This year's is flying by!
So keeping that in mind, start thinking about some spooky and wintery books you'd like to suggest for the October and December buddy reads
It sounds ages away but it will sneak up on you!
July's author is Nino Cipri. Looking forward to your thoughts and reviews

Thank you so much for joining us for #MidsummerSolace 🌞 I hope you've enjoyed it as much as we have.
I'd like to say a big thank you to my co-hosts @TheBookHippie @Chrissyreadit for all help.
We will be back in December of #MidwinterSolace ❄️ to help us through the darker months.
Please let me know in the comments if there is anything you would like more or less off, any improvements that can be made, etc. All comments are welcome.

Last year I read 64 books total. So far this year I‘ve read 62 books. I had to tip in a page for my reading journal to have room for more!
There was a lot of traveling in June which means less books than usual. My favorites of the month were Shield of Sparrows, Lights Out, and Tainted Cup. Despite the summer sunshine, I still seem to gravitate towards the darker reads.
Any thoughts on starting a tag for monthly storygraph wrap-ups? I love seeing everyone‘s reading stats.
Thanks to these Litsy folks for today‘s prompt:

I read some terrible books this month! It was really disappointing and I don't feel like reading much now

A couple of weeks of reading here. Somehow Sunday passed me by without me noticing so I‘m a day late again. #bookreport #weeklyforecast

My checkouts today.
I have 14 total checkouts right now…I‘ve GOT to get back on track to go through my own shelves, so I can read➡️choose what to donate. I‘m not sure when we‘re moving yet, but I want to be prepared!

June's favourite was Heavenly Tyrant and the wild card was Guardian Volume 1
SVSSS 1 is still winning which I'm not surprised about

Up from May. I‘m pleased that I read quite a bit of non-fiction.
Suggestions…. thoughts…
Welcome #QueerBC to this month's discussion post! I hope you've all had a good reading time with Zen Cho.

The romance was lukewarm. In fact, I didn't care much about Kelly and Jordan's relationship. I found the brief history on Greenland and the melting of the glaciers more fascinating. I also wanted to hear more about Pippa's Viking heritage. This would have worked better as a historical fiction book instead of a romance book.

Thanks for the reminder tag @CBee !
It‘s not a list of twenty but this is almost the entirety of my nook library so I decided I‘ll be mainly trying to read from my nook. (But I might sneak over to the kindle too).

June #2025Stats
I had a clear out and donated 37 books, these were books that I'd had for years and was never going to read them. Many of them had come up multiple times on #Roll100
Steadily going through my shelves and Kindle. I read a lot this month but only had a few good books, the rest are 1 or 2 stars. I probably read so much because I was speed reading to get through them
Only got to one in June, mainly because it was WDS for #camplitsy25, but onward! Here‘s a reminder to post your list, if you haven‘t already 😊#readyourkindle #readyourebooks #readyournook #readyourkobo
Another round of #Roll100 - hurray! Another round of really great books I'm looking forward to.
@PuddleJumper

I just have a perpetual list with prompts rather than specific titles. It works for me. I‘ve shared this before, but sharing again.
I'm at the American Library Association conference this weekend, and today was the first day! I managed to score 54 free ARCs so I think that could be considered a successful day! 🤭💕📚
Just signed up for the #AutumnComfortSwap
Kinda hard to think about fall with how hot it‘s been, but it is my second favorite season. And I‘m totally down for some comfort for the season - it‘ll be a pick me up I‘ll probably need. Not to mention a fun way to kick off the season!
Still a few days to signup!
