pickExcellent historical fiction based around true events. It was presented in a way that‘s not typical in similar stories; In this case she was living among puritans but not one, willful, had the support of her husband (mostly) &was negatively impacted throughout her life by the notions of her time allowing the reader to see her as something other than a victim without characterizing her through a lens of modern feminism. Highly recommend.
