#readingbracket2025 Going with the new VE Schwab book this month as my fav! So many good new releases this summer. Also, I cannot believe it is already August.
#readingbracket2025 Going with the new VE Schwab book this month as my fav! So many good new releases this summer. Also, I cannot believe it is already August.
My #autumncomfortswap is on its way! Thanks for hosting such a fun swap @thebacklistbook ! 🍃🍂🍁
I‘m enjoying this series! A witch and a witch hunter. Lots of secrets and betrayals and quite the surprise ending. Right up my alley! I‘m enjoying the plot twists and surprises! On to the next! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Another great Sanderson book! In this one the city of Elantris has lost its magic and instead houses the afflicted. I loved the Prince Raoden storyline and was rooting for his survival. I did think part 3 was a tad rushed- it felt like trying to tie up all the loose ends too quickly. Can‘t wait for the next in our #CosmereBuddyRead ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I expected to like it more. It seemed right up my alley but it took forever for me to get vested. There is card magic (it reminded me a bit of Caravel) and Elspeth has a nightmare inside of her and she needs to team up with the royals to cure the town and certain people of dark magic. I‘m hoping book 2 is a bit more exciting. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I completely agree with everyone‘s review of this “toxic lesbian vampire” novel. It has some pacing problems and took me forever to read but I was trying to enjoy the atmospheric writing. I loved the various POVs and I‘m still thinking about the ending. It‘s my fist Schwab so I‘ll def have to check out some of her other novels and series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Yay it‘s #staycationswap opening day! @dabbe Thank you sooo much! You spoiled me so much! I love the tshirt and tote! The books are perfect and I can‘t wait to devour all the treats while putting together my Globe theater! What a great trip to Elizabethan England! Thank you, thank you, thank you! 🥰🥰🥰
My #TBRtarot pick this month was a quick read and something I definitely don‘t read often- a YA bank robbery thriller? No dragons or magic? I heard Netflix is making this one a movie with Millie Bobbie Brown so of course that‘s who I pictured the whole time. A cute story about sisters who grew up with a con artist mother and those skills help them when one is taken hostage in a bank robbery. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
#serieslove2025 This was my favorite of the series so far. I can‘t resist an enemies to lovers trope. The ending gave me all the feels. Excited that there is another book coming out in Sept! Curious whose story that one will follow but excited to see what these 4 are up to! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This month I managed to read the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy, 3 Camp Litsy books, the Belladonna series and STILL my favorite of the month is yet another Brandon Sanderson #CosmereBuddyRead book. I‘m obsessed. But Onyx Storm is still on its way to being my favorite of the year. If Sanderson begins to include dragons then Yarros might be in trouble. 🤣 #readingbracket2025
Another interesting #CampLitsy25 pick. I believe the author is a climate change journalist so this absolutely came across to me as a giant red flag warning. It really gets you thinking about what you would do in these circumstances. But the ending was disappointing. I can‘t wait to discuss in camp as our FMC could easily be compared to our girl from Audition! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Another great and interesting #CampLitsy25 pick! Can‘t wait for our discussion as I loved the 2 story lines and the story within the story. On the surface it‘s about a struggling writer and family issues but I love the deeper societal commentary. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My #CosmereBuddyRead peeps- I am literally screaming!!!! I had 7 hours on a round trip train ride for a quick DC trip so I accidentally finished this. Screaming. Just Wow. Pro tip- don‘t start part 5 until you are ready to read it in one sitting. I couldn‘t stop. I have sooo many thoughts and cannot wait for the ending discussion. I ❤️ Kaladin. That‘s it. It gets all the stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
#serieslove2025 Although slower than the first book, the ending made up for it. I‘m enjoying this murder mystery fantasy- I love the setting and friendships just as much as the love story. Good thing I have the next in the series ready to go. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Wow! I loved reading this ending- or beginning because there are still pages for Sam to write. 😭This was my favorite by far and I‘m so glad I finally got around to reading this trilogy. Gave me all the feels. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Another great #camplitsy25 pick! I loved this story about found families, bravery in the face of adversity, and being your authentic self. Can‘t wait to discuss it at camp! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Oooh this second book was great! You can tell we are building up to something epic. I loved the Frodo, Sam and Gollum chapters the best. Even though I know how it ends, it still feels new. Although of course I am still picturing Elijah and Viggo! 😉 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
#serieslove2025 I‘m finally getting to read this series- I am late to the party. This was a good mystery/ Gothic romance about a girl trying to solve the mystery of her aunt‘s death while saving her cousins. Very Emily Dickinson- a girl and death. I loved the setting - high society, lots of ballrooms and rules! Curious to see how the story continues in book 2! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you for the tag @Eggs & @Ddzmini !! #wondrouswednesday
1. Create the life you want!
2. 🏋️🤦🏼♀️🧜♀️
3. Brett Goldstein‘s stand up special!
I‘ll tag: @KateReadsYA & @MichaellaRenae
Another great #TBRtarot pick! I still can‘t believe I never read these! I love all things Fantasy so I know it is a must! I absolutely adored this one and can‘t wait to dive into the next one! I found myself picturing the cast from the movie the whole time reading it though-is that normal? 😂 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
No surprise here for my favorite this month- another Sanderson book! This is quickly becoming a bracket to figure out the best Sanderson book. 😂 #readingbracket2025
Your #StayCationSwap package is on route to you @dabbe ! I had so much fun with this one and I hope you love it all! Thanks for hosting this amazing swap @DinoMom & @Chrissyreadit ! 🗺️📍🧭📚💗
This #CosmereBuddyRead one was slow in the beginning but of course like every Sanderson book I eventually cannot put it down! I love these new characters and am excited to be with them for many more books. As usual, I am left with more questions than answers but excited to see where he goes with this and to see more connections to the other characters! Can‘t wait for our discussion!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was not as good as book 1. It picked up with Freya and Bjorn still in conflict after the betrayal in book 1. Freya has to break her oath in order to save her people. Lots of betrayals and trying to figure out alliances. It is only a duology so the ending wrapped everything up. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
So looking forward to our first #camplitsy25 discussion. This was totally giving me All Fours vibes! Interested to see what everything thinks of our FMC. I‘m sure there are tons of theories about what is happening in this story! Can‘t wait! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

@JacqMac It‘s fate, kismet, chance, destiny! I went to bring some books to my favorite little free library and look what was waiting for me in there! What perfect timing! #cosmerebuddyread I should go and play lotto today- what a lucky day! 🍀
Just finished this #cosmerebuddyread and Sanderson has done it again. This one was a standalone in the same world but I loved these characters and hate to leave them. His world building and magic systems are unmatched. Two princesses being used as pawns as the threat of war looms. As with any Sanderson book there are betrayals, shifting alliances and interesting love matches. Can‘t wait to see what everyone thinks of the ending! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My #2025readingbracket is filling up fast with all kinds of fantasy books. I loved how fearless wrapped up the trilogy so that was for sure my favorite this month. Think I have a type? 😂 @CSeydel
Felt right to be back in this world. I loved seeing what Warner and Juliette are up to and I love the new perspectives we are getting. This one is from James and Rosabelle‘s POV and you can tell we are being set up for more books following their storyline. I‘m here for all of it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
#serieslove2025 What an ending to this triology! It was great being back with Pae, Kai and Kitt again and I fell immediately back into this world of elites vs. ordinaries. Finally, all of the secrets are revealed and we get the answers we were looking for. I laughed, I cried, I feel fulfilled. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Here are my #CampLitsy25 picks. So many new releases to choose from and my favorite part is seeing everyone‘s choices and adding them all to my TBR! I know camp is always fun no matter what we read together this summer! Can‘t wait! 🏕️
Another great #TBRtarot pick this month. This was like the hunger games but with mortals fighting to the death for each Greek God as a way to decide who will rule the world. I loved it and it ended on quite the cliffhanger so I‘m hoping the next book comes out soon. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Like so many others I was worried about this one- I didn‘t like Ballad so much. So I was relieved at how good it was. Brought back the same feels as the original even though you kind of already know how this story ends. I loved being back in Panem and getting Haymitch‘s story. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Sanderson is clearly going to be all over my #2025readingbracket thanks to our #cosmerebuddyread ! There were so many great new releases but I will be thinking of this trilogy ending for a long time! Could end up being my fav of the year even! Let‘s see what‘s next!
What an amazing milestone and generous giveaway @CSeydel ! 🙌 #50kgiveaway
My favorite things about Litsy are getting book recommendations and adding to my never ending TBR pile. I absolutely love the Fall and Winter holiday swaps! It‘s a great way to connect with different members. I love the buddy reads and the monthly challenges. It‘s a great community that I love being a part of!
@JacqMac Well this one wrecked me. I am satisfied with the ending of this trilogy but also sad it‘s over. I will save the rest of my thoughts for our #cosmerebuddyread next week. I am becoming quite the Sanderson fangirl! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
My next #readyourkindle pick this month is this new release and second book in the series. We are left with tons of unanswered questions and a cliffhanger ending. I still love our FMC Lin and of course the dynamic between Kel and Prince Conor. This one focused on their alliances and relationships with a hint of magic which I always love. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A great #readyourkindle pick! I loved being back in this world with these characters! Paige is learning from past mistakes and leaning on her found family. My favorite part of this series is the world building! Even though it is fantasy, her novels always feel very realistic and this series is set in the not so distant future. Now to wait another year for the next in the series! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
#serieslove2025 I am so excited to finally be reading this triology! I loved these characters and woah what a brutal war with hints of fantasy thrown in. Rin‘s only chance of changing her horrible situation is to pass a test to be enrolled in a special military academy. Once there she has to keep her spot and continue to prove herself and her capabilities. War comes too soon and everyone is tested. Can‘t wait to jump into book 2. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
#ReadingBracket2025 Another month of some amazing new releases and 5 star reads! It‘s been so difficult narrowing down my favs but I went with the new El-Arifi book in a series I am loving. But of course Onyx is on its way of being my fav of the year.
#Cosmerebuddyread Wow. Sanderson has done it again- just when I think I know where the story is heading, he does something completely unexpected that I never see coming. That ending made me immediately go and purchase the next book. Can‘t wait for our group‘s next few discussions but I couldn‘t help but finish early! Thank goodness for our buddy read so I am not alone with this! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I loved this second book that was just released! It picks up right where book 1 left off and I love the multiple perspectives and new characters we get. Our heroes are still trying to break the curse that is keeping the fae imprisoned and I still love the world building and unique magic system. Can‘t wait for book 3. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Here‘s the memoirs I have been devouring as audiobooks! For some reason this is the only genre I can listen to! 🤷🏼♀️
