#roll100 I was super excited about the premise of this but it fell a little flat. I felt that it wasn‘t sure if it wanted to be speculative fiction, or more of a thriller. Onto the next!

Just curious... what reading challenges are y'all doing next year,? I'm still working on the 50 states, 50 horror books (50 percent complete); the past couple of years I have been slightly intrigued by the 52 book club challenge and I've knocked off a few new favorites I might not have otherwise... but I'm thinking '26 will be challenge/prompt free.As a mood reader, it's just so hard to commit!

Here‘s my December #roll100 picks. I should be able to read all of them. I‘ll be reading the Agatha Christie book for the #christiescapers buddy read. I already started The Phantom Of The Opera in November but I should be able to finish it this month. If I like it then I can watch the movie and the musical. That would be fun. I started reading a Christmas devotional but I‘ll have it done by Christmas because it ends on Christmas Day.

My finished November #BookspinBingo board and I got 2 bingos! Overall it was a great reading month and I took advantage of the DNF. And I'm almost through with two more #roll100 picks, but they'll roll over to December 😄

Kate‘s newest case involves a string of child strangulations in an isolated community. When she & Al learn 1 of the locals was once jailed for murder, they‘ll be forced to re-examine a case from years ago.
Intense & stressful read! I liked Kate as a character, & I liked how we learned about her as she allowed Al to learn. Not too much of an actual mystery, but a thrilling investigation. & I really liked the resolution of everything.🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑
