pickAn intriguing collection of Gay‘s personal essays ranging in topics across feminism, talking about race, sexuality, reproductive rights, sexual violence, & police brutality.
Such an intense read, that I had to take in small chunks, especially the section Gender & Sexuality. I found myself highlighting a lot. It‘s fascinating to see how feminism has evolved in the last 10 years, & yet how we are still fighting the same goddamned fights. 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑

so-so#roll100 for November which I‘ve been reading since before thanksgiving. It was slow going with bits of action here & there. The couple spends very little time in Scotland & I was missing a sense of place. Although I liked the ending which bumped it up to 3⭐️
Maybe I would have enjoyed it more if I‘d read the rest of the series (This is book 6)? I enjoyed the author‘s Fever series so grabbed this secondhand a few years ago. Glad it‘s off my TBR.
Having a crazy work week & I realized I never posted my December #TBR. I meant to have a calm & quiet December but still loaded up 21 books that I wanted to read.this month. 😉 Will I get to them all? Probably not, but we‘ll see where we get to.
