#QueerBC January author is Jeanette Winterson!
I've seen a few people reading Christmas Days over the holidays. Does anyone have any recommendations or want to share what they will be reading?

I was supposed to do the December #QueerBC discussion post and forgot so it's a bit late
December's author was TJ Klune
What did you read? Did you enjoy it?
Controversially, I find this author fairly mid. I‘ve enjoyed several of their books but I do think they are overhyped

I didn't connect with this one the way I have with some of Klune's other books. There's some early decisions by the protagonist that just don't make sense. And I refuse to believe that an unemployed reporter (excuse me, *journalist*) in the US in 1995 would have had the infamous Nokia cell phone. If anything, it would have been a pager. Just disappointing.

Whew Whee!!! I adored this book. Ox and Joe may be my all time favorite couple. Especially for 2025. #QueerBC @PuddleJumper This promises to be an amazing series.

January and February 2025 😊 January was an #ALSpine pick from @CSeydel and y‘all know how much I raved about the HMRC series this year 😁 #12Booksof2025 @TheEllieMo

More world development was needed to keep me engaged. Young adult fantasy is one of my favorite genres and I was having trouble. I would have loved for Silvera to explain the different phoenixes and the history. I don't think I will continue the series. #QueerBC @PuddleJumper
